It's a lovely walk, best done in better weather...and when it's drier underfoot!! Shame the Bagot Goats were no where to be seen ☹️ Thanks for watching and commenting Graham. Cheers Alistair 👍
Completely new walk to us this Alistair. Gosh that is a trek for you to get to Keswick. Lovely sound and visible frost. Your bus planning deserves a medal. Goats, deer and shaved bushes? We are in! Looks like a lovely circuit suitable for all. Nice signs of Spring along the route. The sheep are as friendly in your video as they are in ours! Lovely history of the area, especially the Roman Forts. Even with your laces well tied its easy to trip up! Lovely route 👍
🤣🤣 thought I was going to be on my backside!🤣🤣 It's a lovely walk probably deserved a better day really!🤔 Summer bus timetable starts on the 26th so that will open up a few more hills🤔.... except there are a few road closures ☹️ I've a lot of TH-cam to catch up on... hopefully this evening will see me back up to date! Thanks for watching and commenting, as always it's very much appreciated 👌 Have a great weekend, ATB Alistair 👍
It's a long time I was in Kendal Alistair that's a lovely river Marra and definitely worth a look sometime Lovely put together video mate Tek Care Marra ATB Andy 😊
Kendal hasn't changed much... still jammed up with traffic... fantastic mountaineering section in the library tho'! Thanks for watching and commenting Andy, cheers Alistair 👍
Alastair that was brilliant mate. Really nice to see a different type of walk and just as enjoyable. That river was beautiful but powerful too. Great to see you back on form 😊👍
Thanks Phil, I often wonder whether videos "off topic" appeal 🤔. But I've decided that I'll just film and publish what I like! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching and commenting it's very much appreciated. Cheers Alistair 👍
@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad I know what you mean Alastair. I look at my contact and think it’s ok but sadly it’s taking time to grow. Mind you’ve I’ve decided I like the process even if it’s not others cup of tea 😊🤷♂️
@@PhilipOlsen11 the algorithm likes the EPIC word or 5 things I like/hate caper... neither of which am I interested in pursuing! I'm the same as you, I like the filming and editing...if others appreciate it that's great! Guess we'll just keep plodding along Phil!? ATVB Alistair 👍
Kendal is a place we have always just drove through, never stopping, sally heading to Windermere of Keswick areas. Nice local one for you mind and although I hate travelling on buses, in the Lakes, I could manage it. So a place I know nothing about and that wet rock is not only attractive to teenagers, I slipped and fell last Thursday on wet rock getting a photo next to a waterfalls at High Cascade, near Aira Force, gave my knee a dam good bashing. I love anything to do with the Romans, so that would be a particular area of interest for me, cheers Alan
Wet limestone is lethal Alan, but then so is most wet rock ☹️. Hope there's no lasting damage or pain from your slip!? Buses are ok here in the Lakes... generally a good timetable and means linear walks are a possibility 👌 Thanks for watching and commenting Alan, ATVB Alistair 👍
Cracking video as always Alistair, thanks for sharing as always. I’ve now started my own little channel. My latest video is Sour Hows and Sallows which I got the idea from your video. Please feel free to have a look. Take care.
Thanks Dave, it's a lovely walk beside the River Kent... shame it wasn't better weather! I'll take a look at your channel, Sour Howes and Sallows are favourites of mine.... it's been a while since I've visited them! Thanks for watching and commenting it's much appreciated. ATB Alistair 👍
