Where is verses of violence in New testament? Are you talking about what God said will happen on judgement day and comparing that to what muhammid did whilst on Earth and encouraged his followers to do? Even with what the bible says about what will happen to the unbelievers on judgements day is not more than what's in Qur'an. And it has been found out that there wasn't any consistency in the Quran. The Qur'an today isn't the same as the oldest manuscript.

Brother, the "differences" you are talking about are in regards to harf and qiraa'. Those differences are well documented in the Islamic tradition.
Secondly, of course there are violent ayahs in the Quran. There has to be because the Quran is not only a book of virtues but also about military action, ruling states, etc.
As for violence in the New Testament I guess you just need to check it properly. And if you raise points about context then that is what Muslims say and I would not object to it.

@@bayyinahawesome415 I promise you, there are no violence promoted in the new testament. Nothing at all. Jesus didn't promote it. His disciples didn't, Paul didn't. Even though they were all persecuted. Nobody fought back. Instead they fasted or prayed. So I don't know where that man got his info from.

The Muslims and the prophet alaihissalam were persecuted for 13 years and had to migrate to madina. In those 13 years Muslims also did not fight at all. And during the conquest of makkah the prophet alaihissalam forgave everyone who persecuted him and the Muslims.
As for the bible I won't try to say anything more as I am no scholar.

@@bayyinahawesome415 i get that brother. I understand that the bible or gospel were also spread violently in some cases, but that is not something the bible promotes. It was the ideology of men. They forced people to believe and if you read the bible then you will see that the gospel(New Testament) does not permit violence at all. So the missionaries or some of them didn't abide to the gospel in this aspect. So unlike the New Testament, the Qur'an actually permits violence, whether it be defensive or whatever. So I wouldn't blame the people for their violent behaviour as far as the Qur'an is concerned, but with Christianity you can blame the people because the Gospel does not permit violence at all. During the time of Muhammid, there wasn't much Muslims so they had to be as peaceful as possible, but you see that when they grew stronger they started to wage war and all the other violent acts.

Brother, if by promoting violence you mean waging wars for no reason then that is not what happened in Islam. There were legitimate reasons (you said something similar at first but later alluded to waging wars for no reason as far as I understood). And there are scary ayahs for legitimate reasons. Eg. Cutting of heads and fingers in war and trust me this is about war and the wisdom behind this is either killing or causing the most useful thing (hand/finger) to be no longer useful.
I know of verses in the Bible where Jesus alaihissalam said that if your eyes cause you to sin then pluck it off. I am willing to follow it (and I think not enough Christians follow even a part of it) but Jesus alaihissalam was the prophet of israelis. Even if you say that this is rhetorical still doesn't the language sound scary?
