I do feel like Deluxe Bomb will be more widely used and effective once Lost Zone rotates out of the format
One card I haven't seen anyone comment yet is Mismagius. Its ability is that it does 8 dmg counters to whatever KOs it. With this Ace Spec it will do 20 dmg counters. Some mismagius lists already play vengeful punch to increase their normal revenge dmg to 120. 200 revenge dmg is a formidable enough counter in a single prize deck. Enough that some decks might prefer to gust around you. Especially with mismagius where it will already do its attack on the turn before to all pokemon in play. So if they hit you back you will do 220 damage to your opponent until your next turn. Lets say you add radiant alakazam into the mix and you can do 240 to one mon, enough for an iron hands, between your attacking turn and before your next turn ends. Also it doesn't have the annoying "cannot be retrieved from discard" effect so you can loop it with rosanne's + town store.
I was hoping this was a reprint or better of Rock Guard, but it's just an upgraded Bursting Balloon. Not terrible, but not amazing, just pretty underwhelming. I feel like this should have been better since it's an ACE SPEC, since it would allow for more stall oriented decks to be played, which would be a super refreshing change of pace to see in the meta for once. (I miss the old Wailord EX days...)

The new ace spec seems like an endgame checkmate type thing. Both benches are low and the opponent doesn't have a gust effect, but needs to take a KO or they lose, so they end up running into the bomb.
Galvantula ex seems to have item lock, so it could block vacuum for a turn and the attack itself seems like decent damage itself!
the last similar card we had was Giant Bomb from unified minds which if you took 180 damage would deal 100 to the opponent and it was a decent tool choice in melmetal and lucario GX decks, it either blanked turns, fixed damage ranges, or forced general low balling damage that was easily healed, but this ace spec bomb, being a singular tool that applies 120 has to be recovered everytime seems to much a hazzle, only as a late checkmate card I imagine it would see play, until a stall master finds a way to break it.
Chesnaught V goes really well with Cacnea and Cacturn that both have the ability that damages anyone who attacks them. 😊

I wanna do this in a chesnaught V or goodra Vstar/regidrago and then play a combo of arven/cylene to get it and reuse it

I think that new ace spec would do good with the lykenroc ex. If you attack him on his attack now do 100 damage and of the opponents active pokemon decides to attack do 10 damage counters to the attacking pokemon. Add this ace spec do 12 mo making the total to 22 damage counters I think lycanroc ex would be great
Ross idk if u were a pokemon anime fan when you were a child but that survival brace is in a episode on a sandshrew that one mean trainer ash ran into had them wearing .. kinda neat if u ask me to see it 30 years later in the tcg .
Yeah honestly until lost vacuum rotates out, any ace spec tool is going to be outclassed by other ace specs. It’s just that simple. Like vacuuming 1 out of 4 tools I have in my deck is no big deal, but when your one ace spec is vacuumed it’s just a waste of space. I also don’t love cards that force your opponent to attack to be damaged because you know they will do everything in their power to prevent it no matter if it’s 1 damage counter or 12, it’s a mental thing.

@@ARattyBestFriend It’s one of my favorite Pokémon ever, and it’s one of my favorite cards to play with in the current format. I really like pairing it with the Glimmora from Paldea Evolved as well as the Glimmora from Obsidian Flames. I also use Ting Lu from Twilight Masquerade. It’s a pretty strong combo with only a few weaknesses
How did it broke Lycanroc ex?
@@shootinstar3051 When Lycanroc ex uses the attack Scary Fangs, during the opponent’s next turn, if it is attacked the effect of Scary Fangs puts 10 damage counters on the attacking pokemon. If Deluxe Bomb is attached to Lycanroc ex and is attacked after using Scary Fangs, a total of 22 damage counters is put on the attacking Pokémon
Oh I see! When I first read Lycanroc ex I read 10 damage and I was like wtf? Only 10 damage?! Now I just re-read 10 damage counters 😂 that's better

Lost vacuum needs to be banned it's one of the most powerful item cards ever. Completely shuts off any deck relying on a tool
There has always been cards that get rid of tools. Before this, there was tool scraper, and before that there was Field blower. Even if there wasn't that, then people might even play the stadium that get rids of the effects of tools.
Every deck or strategy has downsides or counters. It's part of the game.
LMAO what. If Lost Vac is broken then what about Jamming Tower? It literally blocks all tools on play.
