Longevity wise I get why they can sell for that much but the fact that 2 years ago they were sold for 3000 I'm talking about the 2jzgte motor and they've more than doubled in price over the course of 2 years screams a bubble like with the rest of the jdm car market the prices have come down alot and I hope the engines will as well. I personally would never buy one for 6000 unless money was not an object to me
@@kingferg38 Totally agree! But all things rise in value eventually. Especially when Americans start to push the numbers up, all others will tax the American buyers. Just think there are thousands upon thousands of Aristos straight from Japan waiting to be shipped to America. They were around 6-10k 4 years ago in GREAT CONDITION while put on a waiting list, now they are going for 10k-15k at an "OK" condition. Only because the 25 year mark is coming soon.
Yeah man I'm just waiting for chasers to go back down because I'm hearing nobody is buying them at the Japanese auctions the importers are having to drop the prices

I’m hoping on boosting my is300 for about 5k in total. only building the engine for about 500hp and not going too crazy on it

5k is possible with a GE. Having it make 500whp isn’t possible with 5k
*The GTE engines are around 8k on average. I'm glad I was smart enough to buy 3 gs300s with 2jzge now I'm going tax for just the engines lol*
