Yeah I don’t have kids so I have no clue who any of these characters are and happy to keep it that way :) lol go under setting and you can change your grid there or click the small empty block at the top left of the grid
I’d even go as far as using a more stable background and pasting this on top of and cutting around it. I’m not sure if you eventually did that. But I love this!
That’s absolutely an option and I have other videos with lots of other options. This is going to be taped to a wall so it doesn’t need the waste thicker materials or time
absolutely excellent. i was gonna do something similar using print and cut option but i only have a sublimation printer and the colors sucked! this method is perfect. thanks again
@@jkrempasky21 it’s all cardstock. I don’t typically stand these I usually adhere to a wall because kids are stupid and will ruin them if they are standing. However if you want it to stand a foam board cut with an exacto knife is what I use to back them and then I just make a triangle stand for it. I have no idea what your second question is at all I’m sorry
Why does my Cricut design space look so different from yours. I have an explorer 3 and have the low Cricut access. But I don’t have the option to pick complex on uploaded images and I don’t have the print and cut option either, please help

What are the measurements because idk if it was just my design space but i was trying to follow yours I couldn't see get it to make sense on my computer.
I am having trouble with my machine after I take white out and upload it goes to multiple layers but beta, then single layer, flat graphic. The multiple layer just circles tried the flat graphic since it says for print and cut. Having terrible time figuring out which one I should use. Help!!!!! 2:50
@@BeverlyIce-k8j you use the center one I forget what the option is called it’s the single layer one. This one does not use print then cut at all and you don’t use the layers one. Its the center option which should just show the black lines of your design

@@keshiadavoine8476 search larger than mat Corinne and you’ll find them I did the grinch and Olaf. It’s all done exactly the same way just with different materials when you cut. Nothing changes
@@keliiwilliams8142 design space has change a little bit but in general the upload is still completed in the same way. When you upload you need to click each white section to remove it. This is done in the first step. Once you have done that you will be shown three options. The one in the center is the one you want to select. That’s the only part that has really changed. Then all you do is click continue until it’s on your canvas. Your contour is not working likely because you have not selected the correct upload option or you did not remove all areas you needed to
@@keliiwilliams8142 like I said above there is no reason to do an update nothing has changed enough if your contour doesn’t work it’s because you haven’t removed the white areas in the design more than likely. Which is done the same way I show here. The only real change is that you would choose the middle option when it brings up the options after you remove the spaces
Hi Corrine, I love this project but when I try the design on my Explorer Air 2 when trying to make the negative image in Contour is doesn’t show a distinct difference between the light and dark so it is really difficult to get the negative image. I did get it once but I can’t figure out how I did it. Any tips for? Thanks!!!
So to get the design of bluey you used a coloring page for free. Then you did the coloring your self. If there a way you can gey blue image without paying for it on etsy?
Bluey is a licensed and trademarked design. There for anyone selling the design would be doing so illegally. There is not a legal way to get a layered SVG of Bluey or any other character like that. Which is why I teach it this way.
First you can’t make designs that are made with outside designs public in design space and also being that this is a copywriten character it is illegal
I mean you can if you have the SVG or you want to pay for the SVG but I’m a cheap chick and when I can just very easily do it myself for a free coloring page that’s how I’m going to do it

could be the image you are using is not able to be contoured. it needs to have separate sections. Could also just be design space sucks. You may also have it uploaded as print then cut and not cut which also doesn't allow contour
I figured it out! I had to find an svg and couldn’t use a coloring page. That’s when it wouldn’t let me contour. I uploaded the same image as a png and it worked!
@@juliatapia5728 but you can use a coloring page. So likely you did not remove the background fully from that coloring page. I use coloring pages all the time and contour but you have to remove all the background and save as a cut image
I can’t stand all the pieces that you can see that are put together why not just use a silhouette 24 by however, long you wanna make it and make your life easy and you don’t have to see all those cut lines. If you use Silhouette, you just hit trace and all the pieces are already taken apart for you. You don’t have to do all that. By the way, Bluey is a girl.

I literally have no idea who they are but this a coloring page labeled as bluey and the person who used it for their party agreed.
All of the bluey coloring pages from the bluey website are labeled bluey. This is bingo.

You could use a glossy cardstock or laminate before cutting
I noticed you started with 3 inch pieces but then they were bigger toward the end how do I make sure everything is sized correctly?

Use the side area where it shows the shapes. Also sometimes turning your contrast up or down on your computer monitor can help
