This bold cinematic experience takes viewers on a magical adventure across the greatest, yet least known, parts of our planet - our oceans. Since Blue Planet aired in 2001, our understanding of life beneath the waves has completely changed. Travelling from the icy polar seas to the vibrant blues of the coral atolls, this series shares these astonishing new discoveries. Meet the strange octopuses lurking in the depths of the Antarctic Ocean. Watch giant trevally fish leap to catch birds in mid-air. And ride on the back of a hammerhead shark as it attacks. Inspiring awe and wonder, Blue Planet II reveals surprising new places, charismatic new characters and extraordinary new behaviours.

Delighted to be able to have a peek into the tiny, unique, amazing universe of the clownfish. How interesting to learn about and observe the social dynamics in play and how, despite their small size, they are able to alter the very architecture of their home -- a coconut shell addition was just the thing for a new nursery!

Did you see that?! They cooperate for an intended aim! That can't be overestimated more than ever for their problem-solving ability. From the very beginning, it's a bizarre scene here & there. No rock, no corral, nothing but barren sand floor. Then, all of a sudden, a round carpet of anemone. Nearly all family members, including much smaller ones, start working together, although those small members were there without much help in a practical sense. A sudden appearance of a snail (a hermit actually) could be a little trick by BBC staff (apologies if not). An amazing behavior taken place in an unusual place is presented!
