That river painting is absolutely beautiful. I also really enjoyed the bird sounds. That's a beautiful country. I love you style of painting. You are the best artist I have seen on TH-cam. Odile
"While those frogs celebrate life" lol!! I was going to ask you what that noise was! Beautiful location and beautiful painting... Such luscious colour! I'm always so looking forward to seeing your paintings at the end. Love those purplish tones along the edge of the bank and the deep blue in the foreground water. Thank you!
Good on yer mate! I like your style. I have just started trying to make videos of me painting and I know how difficult it is. I will subscribe to see more of this 👏👍DearMudzArt
Hello Mr. Evans I love your work the painting knives are fun to use. I was curious about what brand of oils you use? I've never been to Australia before but I imagine it's always hot, do you wear long sleeves because of the sun or the bugs or both? One last question do you body build as well as paint because you look sneaky big?
Your video is awesome, the story is very attractive, the perspective of the painting is flexible, it is very lively, and the editor is very attentive. I am also shooting the channel of “travel with the artist”. I am a watercolor artist in Melbourne. Nice to find you, L+ S,
Richard, I love your enthusiasm and the Australian bush is so dear to me. We do a lot of outback travel. My only criticism of your video is the distance of the camera to your work. Your canvas is about one fifteenth of the whole screen. So small. It is extremely difficult to make out any details of your strokes, colours, everything in fact. When you switched to the small palette knife, it was impossible to make out the knife, let alone the colour or placement of your colour. Incidentally I am not visually impaired. I was hoping to get a closeup at the end so I could see the finished painting, but I was disappointed. Please redo it with the camera up close and personal. Show us your beautiful work. Lissa
Hi Richard. Your work is beautiful and I’ve subscribed to your channel. May I make a suggestion? I believe you would get many more views if you would change one thing. Show a close up of your canvas so we can see exactly what you are painting. There were several times I wanted to lean to the right to look over your arm to get a better view. Lol. It would help to mostly have the actual painting in view. Then every once in a while you could show your reference or scene you were painting. Also show the palette close up when you are mixing the paint. Most artists show the entire canvas on TH-cam. Not that you have to do what “most artists” do. And especially not in your actual style or execution of painting. But it’s extremely frustrating to not be able to see what you are doing. I hope you don’t see this as a criticism of you or your work. It’s the complete opposite. If you’re going to work so hard to make a video and paint a beautiful painting I’m guessing you would want as many views as possible. I truly hope this suggestion helps. I can’t wait until you make another video and best of luck for the future!!!!!
Thanks for subscribing Linda! I take on board what you are saying and it is a great suggestion!!! I'm always trying to improve my vids and this is a good idea, I do like feedback and every bit helps me with my vids. Cheers:)

Thanks Denis! I use Art Spectrum, an Australian brand. Long sleeve for the sun and I try to keep fit as I can!!!

Maybe after your done next time, just use a brush and blend some edges out :) Might look cool never know. That knife is very manly tho
