I'd recommend: King's Harvest, So Sang the Hollow, Napalm, New Land, Smells Like A Freakshow, Puppet Show (live!!), Chimp Mosh Pit (etc!) And.. their fun, crazy, hilarious song 'performnce' on AutoCapella.

I saw them the first time they came to America. Small bar in Arkansas, they opened for Lacuna Coil and Sevendust. Had never heard of them, but they were the best act on stage that night. I hung out with them instead of watching Lacuna Coil. They were all wonderful people. It was a little like talking to Dethklok guys, with the accents. And Johan is a taller son of a gun than you think. I'm 6 ft, and he was a full head taller than me.

Avatar are amazing, guys have been around for 20 years and still making great albums. Its groove metal but it each album offers a lot of different styles of music
Saw Avatar live in March , after waiting 12 years to catch them in Portugal again. You guys have no idea, it's a total FREAKSHOW. I was one of my favorite concerts , if not my favorite!

Deathcore combined the metalcore breakdowns with death metal. Anything with "core" in the label has roots in hardcore punk but hardcore means hardcore punk. Most modern extreme bands mix so many styles, death, groove, thrash, black, I just call them modern extreme metal.

I went to see Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed were meant to support. Disturbed had to pull out last minute & they replaced them with Avatar, first time hearing of them but instantly fell in love ❤

Been a fan since 2015 and currently living in Gothenburg,Sweden(Avatar Country) Some of their style is hardcore but songs like The king welcomes you to Avatar Country and The dirt I’m buried in is more country along with a little disco type vibe. And!!! Johannes is a huge fan of the WWE
