A - Kuma i think it’s more of a pride thing. Like quitting the game at least makes the loser feel like that it was their choice to end the game and not their opponents. Even though it was clear that their opponent beat them.

It's not farfetched, the possibility they use Local Wireless.
Local Wireless I think, also disables the pause button.
@@Cinko420 I'm not sure if Local Wireless would be the best idea, it's kinda like how most people don't opt for Wireless controllers - the latency would screw with the accuracy.
I know you can set up a rule set where you can disable pausing. Much like you can also set up a best of 2 (up to 5) but I don't think many people really see those options, or they do but just want more control.
I'm the Roy player at 4:44. The Palu (and Rosa) player is a really good 16 year old boy that came out of nowhere and beat me in winner and grand finals two tournaments in a row, winning that game 3 - 0 was probably the best feeling I've had playing smash since forever. I ended up 2nd against another player, but man it felt good.

It's entertaining and people always enjoy it when I do it. I'm of the mind that eSports needs more good-natured flair.

SmashfulSpoon I hate Richter and Simon. 7:30-7:45 says it all, they can just sit there and ledge fuck you with neutral B and Down B's, and if you're caught in a down B, it will either gimp your recovery or it will stun you on your get up and then say hello to F-smash which goes a third of the stage, so obnoxious. That Richter player was a statue and all he had to do was spam 3 moves to win.

It would be AMAZING to have raw footage from every clip we have. However this is something almost impossible for tournaments. Even professional level sports TV channels tend to show footage that still have another channel's commentary and layout for highlights. We're away from a perfect highlight realm, but maybe someday

Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is "Megaphone" Franke Sisto, and I am here to further protest what I believe was a grave injustice that was dealt unto me just a few weeks ago in the Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament at Dreamhack Dallas.
My opponent, Sassy, defeated my Ridley using an arsenal of illegal foreign objects. I was not prepared for such cruel and unusual treatment that was, quite bluntly, unfair and completely uncalled for. Upon my humiliating and disgraceful defeat in Game #1, I was forced to use my megaphone in an attempt to call for a referee, so that the previous match (and the ungentlemanly conduct that took place therein) could be reviewed. However, I was both shocked and appalled to discover that there was no referee on hand to support my (in my opinion) justified and totally-legitimate-and-not-an-excuse-for-losing claims. Due to time constraints we were forced to proceed with the match, where I was handed a crushing 3-0 defeat as well as a one-way ticket to the Loser's Bracket.
If my opponent, Sassy (whom I blame for my loss) were to ever read this message, I wish to notify him that he will be hearing from both my lawyer, AND my mother in the very near future for ruining my day at Dreamhack Dallas.
Rest assured Sassy: revenge will be mine! And should anyone - fellow Smasher or otherwise - dare to meet me on the Windjammers court (and you know what? That is an open challenge!), I am willing to guarantee that they will be met with a white-hot fire of rage and malice the likes of which they have never seen. Surely, any such challengers in my way will be just another speed bump on my path of destruction that I walk on my way to retribution for this most grievous offense. ...But I'm sure that no one will read this far anyway.
TL; DR: NEED TO LEARN MII GUNNER AND R.O.B. MATCHUP. SASSY GOOD. PLAY WINDJAMMERS.
