I'm glad that you touched on the crafting skill part of gachas. People tend to make the point that a higher level gacha would mean a higher level crafting skill, but since the crafting skill caps and the gear produced caps at about 200 you can just level into it if you really want to.
One other thing that people tend to also miss is: Instead of collecting a lot of gacha gear...grind it in a grinder! You will never have to worry about metal again.

Fun fact: if you put to many gachas in a 15 foundation area near together, they produce worse or less stuff

Well ppl actually sell Dust Gachas, they been doing it for some time now, the cost is high , but you can farm element on Extinction and trade it with someone for Dust (Most players take payment in Element Dust) u can get a Gacha farm dust and just buy more, and repeat, farm those and get more, get them in pairs , 8 pcs/4 pairs should set you of to a nice start. From there on u can just log in every day and fill them with stone and watch them poop. I use Stone , faster farm and fill them up till slot cap, also you need Snow Owls near them so they pick up the poop. 4 owls and 2 Gachas overnight can get them half full and u can just add stone in the other half of the inventory. This way you should be able to pop about 100-150 Element each day. Depending how much you can bare to stare at Gacha buts and open crystals xD This is on Official Server, on other servers with higher rates you may be able to farm more :)

PS: i have Crafting skill leveled on them to 180%-200% and they poop more items with Stone , and more Dust Crystals with seeds. (But you can choose what you prefer)

How to get gacha with element dust ? do i need all time breed or tame until i get my first element dust gacha ?
yup tame and breed like crazy and pray you get one
i find berries, stone and spoiled meat [mixed foods] makes max element stacks too... if you don't want items, don't feed poop or owl pellets.
i had over 30 clones .. but then i stopped the game a while and my whole base get auto destroyed and i have now just my lvl (135) but no element gacha anymore ..

But 180 is so little. It doesn't really seem worth it. On my server, with like 4x rates I get about 250-300 dust from a tek dino with a chainsaw. And well over 1000 dust on Extinction from light poles and benches. Does anyone know if increased rates affects Gacha output?
Just go to Gen 2, dust is for chumps. You get LOADS of raw/whole element for literally nothing in the space biome.

set up a dust farm of around 24 gachas.. I feed em rock only sometimes and make up to a K element a session.. Plus nodes and Gen 2 farming :) more is better
Don’t plant y cap at 3 per plot? How much gardening you wanna do to keep a few gachas going? You can slotcap on seeds in 5 mins with an iguanadon and still get 180 pretty frequently. One berry run with the kanga lasts days. Are you using any mods that auto fertilise and collect at all?
Thought this vid was going to be about good ways to get Ele Gatchas... turns out its just keep taming until you get lucky... Didn't know that levels on them don't matter and the Y Traps are the best to feed them though so tyty for that info, off to tame the next some hundreds to try and find one now...

Supposedly the trick is to breed/tame on Valguero. At least on the cluster I play on it was. Nobody had even gotten one before Val released, and within weeks everyone had one.
@@Ph3tty Interesting! I have heard of people having good luck on clusters where they add gacha spawns to Valguero, but unfortunately, on vanilla they don't naturally spawn on the map.
Perhaps I'll test breeding them on each map sometime. The breeding cooldown is always what gets me from that approach. By the time you can breed another you could've tamed hundreds haha

It’s waaaay faster to just farm light posts on extinction, then transfer your dust to whatever map you want it on
Bro when farming element dust on another server how do you turn it into element ? replicator ? kinda lost I got two element ghatchas on crystal isles but my question is how do i turn the dust into element ?
Unfortunately without mods, the only option is to craft unstable element from the dust in your inventory. Whipping up what is dropped by a friend and using focal chilli is often best. I should probably make a video explaining my element crafting process in detail haha

Need to get unstable element engram from extinction, you can port dust to whichever server u want your element used on. Pull it out then craft in your inventory. If you level their crafting, you get better stuff from them an higher number of resources from their crystals. Stone is great, but if you have owl pellets it’s best.

A better method would also be y plant traps and owl pellets.

It's funny how thick headed people are when it comes to gacha. I have been using Plant Y traps for a long time. I always see people on my server asking what they should feed a gacha. People say feed it stone with owl pellets for best crystal production, then someone else says no feed it seeds. lol I told them to try Plant Y traps, even offered them seeds to plant their own, they ignore me as if I'm trolling. Oh well stupid is as stupid does I guess

In 20min I can tell you 4 to 6 of the products it will give b4 taming. I can see why pvp this could be dangerous but I'm pve solo so have the time. I'll watch ark vids while waiting lol.
Hi everyone, i tame 16 of low level gachas and not a single one did ele dust, believe me when I tame a female lvl 135 she gives ele dust, I was so happy. Tame the highest level you can. Believe me I tame more than 18 or 20 lvl 40 max. And didn't get a single one.
Remember, the chance is still the same. The low level is for lower cloning costs and nothing more.

Hi everyone,a good advice for all players, never throw a cryopod to one of your tribe member near the gachas, first time i did that one of our gachas grab a cryopod that i throw to my mate and a 445 lvl giga went straight to gacha stomach. 🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡

I put a male and female together with 6 owls around them. Drop rocks on them and I get 180 ele dust Everytime. 😁

Get an iguanodon and de seed the berries and slot cap the gacha in minutes. Get 180 dust each seed he eats and last for several hours of feeding time and get around 50k dust in about 30min-1hr with only 2 gachas 🤷🏼♂️
Don’t see a point in waiting for Y-Seeds to grow when an iguanodon seed gathering works way faster and gets you just as many crystals.

personally i prefer to gather wood and just grind it up and feed them that with owl pellets it both feeds them and gives me experience

Try using y traps + seeds + fertiliser (or owl pellets). And watch the madness happen ^^ They'll eat a lot more frequently and still produce max resource amount :þ

Regarding giving normal seeds to gachas, doesn’t always give the max 180 ele dust… you just need to level up crafting skill on the gacha a little 😅

I normally grab them from the pink flowers that give silk

That is more of a turret plant. The Y fruit are removable items that you can set up as temp traps

I played on sarco was great untill I was inside lol good video dont thank you left anything out. They are mods out there that will auto farm mine and transfer the food to the gotchas. Makes it retartedly easy.

Don't use stone to tame these it takes forever
Stone is for an intentionally poor tame, leading to lower cloning costs. If you aren't concerned with that part there's no need to use stone.
Not sure if you're newer to ark or you just don't know, you should tame them with snow owl pellets specifically. They are almost weightless, you can carry a slot cap with you and tame a multitude of gachas at one sitting, that is if the spawns are up. You can also follow the random wild gacha around and it will relatively drop crystals and you can find its production out via this way. Using anything other then snow owl pellets is a waste.
Why on earth would you carry snow owl pellets around over bringing a hatchet? Stone is faster and everywhere. No one is going to bother following a gacha around when you have unlimited stone right there.
Godric You’re kidding right? There is no “right way” to tame gachas as long as you’re not feeding it expensive structures. Stone works better than pellets imo because you can just harvest the stone that’s RIGHT THERE.
Just because he does it a different way, albeit better way, than you doesn't mean he is new to ARK. Why on earth would you carry around a crap ton of owl pellets when it literally doesn't matter what you feed them and there is an unlimited amount of stone around you to use. It's faster and less wasteful to just take your hatchet to the stone and plop it on the ground in front of them.
@@DeshHere Thing with the stone method is you have to work and gather, when you take owl pellets, you can drop 4 at a time and it will progressively pick them up. Easier then going to harvest stone over and over in the hopes a dilo doesn't attack the gacha you're trying to tame. Plus the pellets weighing virtually nothing you don't need to take a slot cap, but if your wanting to tame abunch of gachas up it helps alot.
@@sawyerdickenson2002 Nobody said anything about "right way" were talking about effective and quick. if you bring pellets they weigh nothing and they are easy to drop and then you can keep an eye on the tame rather then focusing on another task at hand.
