Type /minimap and a settings menu will pop up, you can change the shape and location in there. Also the controller settings preset to default controller settings for retail
I'm brand new to XI in general, so imagine my shock when most of the normal settings in most other games suddenly do something different. It felt like i was in Sword Art Online, i couldn't even find how to log out.

I think you can adjust the size of the UI on your launcher and fiddle with it. Just make sure that you remember what your settings are now, so you can always revert to it in case you mess up.
I assume you’re talking about the mini map add-on and if so, you have to shift click and drag it. And I don’t know what you mean by status bars unfortunately.
Hey in your streams I see you have the timers for your buffs so you know exactly how long they are on for, how do you turn on the timers? I just see the buff logo with no numbers.
Is this still relevant for new players? Currently playing on a toaster from 2009. Any tips for the 2-3second constant lag? I read a solution before but lost it

My game looks stretched sideways no matter what I do. I changed the settings in the Launcher to match my screen resolution. I changed the settings in-game across several aspect ratios. It always looks stretched sideways.

@@rachelwiththedreads hold left shift down and while doing that, hold left click down on the minimap itself, and then move your cursor to where you want it to be :) comment again if you need help
@@nopewontyou It still didn’t work ; ; My cursor doesn’t even go over the mini map. It just goes behind it, so I can’t click it. When I follow your steps, all it does is drag my screen around :(
Horizon XI is ran by a bunch of people that have 0 regard to the disabled. They banned my IP address because they thought I was Tri Boxing when a disabled person was playing the game and 1 person was inebriated and I was on the way out to go to work. unfortunately it left the other 2 unable to respond correctly or in time to GMs, this caused them to jail us and take over a week to "review the footage and discus the situation". I currently have pictures of all of us logged on each one of our computers, which i offered as proof but they wouldn't even let us talk to them to defend our case. I all of a sudden get a message on discord saying our accounts are banned. They discriminated against the disabled person so bad that she became too frightened to even log in again with fear of her doing something wrong. They made her feel as if she wasn't allowed to play. They don't deserve to run such a great game and I personally believe they should be boycotted.
Bro. Did you get pre approved to run more than one account per ip? Probably not. So you’re at fault and using your disabled friend to gaslight. You are a terrible human being.
Who cares it's a private server. Majority of ppl aren't disabled. I have really bad arthritis due to being a massage therapist and kick boxing. They don't have to tailor make the game to my arthritis. No body owes me anything. Same with the handicapped. Some days I just listen to audio books because my DIP joints hurt so bad. But guess what? Boo who. It's my problem not horizonxi or anyone's else. Soy ppl nowadays. The world doesn't owe you anything

When it came to gamepad settings, it was just naturally generated. I kept it at the default settings. I didn’t really change anything.

It’s under the configuration I believe. If you watch my Settings guide, it should be on there.

This game is so damn complicated, it literally takes a 22min video just to explain the settings lol. The controls are soooo wonky
It is definitely not straightforward, but I also recommend using a gamepad. It is so much easier. I use the Xbox 360 game pad for the PC.
