- You may remember some high damage stun combos with Gief and Abigail from a few years ago but they've since been nerfed and are no longer possible in CE. This goes for a lot of high damage stuff, lots of it has been removed/nerfed since SFV's initial release.

I'll be sure to remember that urien one in the beginning when I'm fighting a Ryu and he decides to randomly super when one of my mirrors are out.
They never said it was practical, just possible

Tbf, since ryus even at diamond ain't the sharpest tool in the shed it could happen

@@exukvera her v skill 1 boosts the damage of her throws and command grabs, if you get the full speech, every single grab will instakill
TFW you spend 2 days of your life that you'll never get back, just to do a combo that requires positioning and timing so precise you have to put a marking tape on your monitor.
It was cool though. :)
That's what makes fighting games so beautiful. So much precision and calculation for something that takes 20 seconds.

Ok, Captain Obvious here. For anyone wonder how that Mika’s combo can deal high damage as seen in the video, I’ll copy paste my reply here:
Just hold her V-skill 1 for her speech to be longer. Her speech has 5 phrases in total 15 secs, each phrase increase one damage level of her CA (Also command grabs). If Mika finishes her full speech, her CA and command grabs will reach maximum damage that kills her opponents instantly. In this video Desk only demonstrates with level 2 or 3 of Mika’s speech.

@@SammyBooy2814 its funny u said that i dont even know how to rage quit a game when i get a laggy match i just play it win or lose and not play again. If he practice combos that he would be a better player but to some people quitting is easier than learning the match up like everyone tells him

It was in a competitive match, so amazing.

@@g.r9151 R. Mika's v-skill. She talks into a microphone and it charges up her throw damage the longer she talks into it. If she talks to it to its max possible length, she will basically get a one shot throw.

The most practical parts of these high damage combos seem to come from Urien's Reflector + V-skill 2. That's my biggest take away. Very cool video! 😊
Gills seems pretty doable as it doesnt rely on any opponent ca or super long charge

I once saw Daigo pull something close to that Guile 50 combo before, can't really pinpoint which competition it is.
I've seen him do it online but never in a tourney it's pretty new since the v skill 2. Maybe he pulled it off there has not been alot of tourneys since then

She's like Guile in that she's more a zoning character than a combo character. Not a lot of high damage potential, more about that keep-away game.

That's not taunt thats his idle attack, if you stay idle for about 30 seconds(I don't remember the exact number) he'll do this move, of course it's impossible in a game since no one will leave you standing there for 30 seconds

@@aspreedacore She has a meterless excruciatingly distance specific VT1 combo that does 411 dmg. With critical art it's 572 dmg, and as far as I know (while shifting through the Juri discord) this is the highest she can go. She doesn't come close to "a meterless corner combo that does over 500 dmg at least".

Balrog can get more damage actually, you could have used light smash instead of v-skill and stun combo should have been jump heavy kick + crouch hp + heavy smash + light straight dash + 3 forward kick + 1 forward punch into CA, if Im not mistaken
i dont play gill but the gill combo seems really doable. Any gill player that learns the non CA version of that is gonna be godlike(it uses no ex meter).

so whats the deal with Balrog again? i forget what the gimmick where he can do absurd damage like that. i remember G's where you just have to not move for a long time and i just learned about Mika's in the comments. wasnt it like holding one attack button for a very long time?
It's TAP when you hold a button for a certain amount of time he'll do a turnaround punch. It's projectile invincible and can be charged up to 15 seconds or so for more damage and wall bounce.
Dam that first punch from Balrog took 30% damage alone, that's crazy
I believe you have to hold down a button for that, and there are levels to it depending on how long you hold it for. That kinda damage is like 1 straight minute of holding lol
the execution on the urine vs sim combo was nuts
For Guile's you can get 728 or something like that, If you add light summersalt kick at end before the ca

I've landed that combo in a match. My opponent did not run it back for some reason.
My favorite combos : Guile, those loops are so dope. Too bad I cant do them, tried for so many years and I gave up
The new 50+ combo loop is because of the recent v skill 2

Travels much faster than the regular one - probably couldn't get as many hits in before it hit Ryu.
For the second combo in the vid with Balrog, couldn't you have used VT1 by doing 3 upwards attacks in between the 5 you're given after the stun or does that change the scaling, maybe the ragdoll decreases the damage?

Its an idle move, if you stand still for like 1 min it will do that move. Not viable but neat.

The result of Mika's V-Skill. If you hold it for the entire duration of her speech any grapple she does next is an instant KO.
