I think you mentioned an extremely important part in this video. Riding at 90% or not going all out is important. Ride in that zone where everything feels right and you are not about to sketch out and crash at any moment.
Everything covered in this video is what people mean when they say hardtails, especially SS hardtails, accelerate your learning curve. They also beat you up pretty good while you’re figuring it out. When I’m feeling “off” on my big squishy trail bike, I take the single speed out for a few rides. I’m noticeably smoother when I get back on the squishy bike.
Hope you had a good time in finale! How does the new Spectral drive? I'm a bit afraid the old version could have fit me better :-/ (I have long legs and short upper body). And I miss the extra centimeter of the fork/damper 😢
These trails look so much like the Deep South it’s amazing ! I have those exact conditions 80% of the year. Clay and sand are the same color. Lots of pine trees as well.
One thing for sure, mtb is faster than ever, ppl die and hurt themselves badly maybe it's time to pause and think about teaching people all the cool trialy other things 😂
@steez8888 that's because they have stupid nascar style pile ups, and ride where theyre not welcome or safe, like blind corners with 3 tons of steel coming the other way. Not because they're doing anything with skill
I think we need more examples of the art. Perhaps normal speed with slow-mo steez and a killer audio overlay in different riding conditions. An editors floor b-roll of flow and audio attitude. ✌
@@user-yv2cz8oj1k formula one racers study the tracks and even spend hours leasing said track or overdoing it on simulators, it you can find a MTB simulator with all the bells and whistles maybe...
Btw in response to your initial comment; hell nah! Courses are this spectacular nowadays because riders are true pros, not the weed smoking hippies of my generation of riders, we paved the way but they significantly raised the bar and part of that professionalism is preparation. I didn't do none of that, I also crashed a lot 😂
What do you need to improve on from this list?
The whole lot 😂
massive respect for always putting chapters in your videos. certain mtb TH-cam channel never put chapters in their videos.
Thank you! We hope it helped you find the exact part you needed 🤙

Is that down to line choice or using your legs more?
Love these skills videos. Neal and Blake work well together. Any plans for an Aussie trip?
Nothing planned yet, but we'd love to visit 🤘

Mmmm.... nope
Wrong. Road biking actually has way more fatalities and catastrophic injuries. The stats don't lie

That would be sick! 🤘
First. Just don't use the Coward Levers!
lol
Death grip!!!!
Be better to not let racers study tracks before riding.
Finding lines is all a part of it! Its the same in most racing 🏅Plus without practice there would be more crashes and less fun!
@@gmbn they should have to pick their lines as they encounter them, otherwise it becomes as boring as formula 1 racing.
