  • The 1856 hymn tune "St. George's Windsor" was written by George Elvey, organist at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle for 47 years. This tune is most often known as "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come", and used many times at Thanksgiving services. This was written and recorded at Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The exterior pics of this beautiful chapel are from my visits to Windsor, while the interior pics are from Wikipedia, since cameras are not allowed inside. But I strongly suggest a visit, not only to see it but to hear the marvelous choir and organ inside! One other note, this is my first composition using the Dorico program, after using Finale for all of my previous works. I tried my best to make it look like my usual pieces.

Mr. Lehenbauer, I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. This Hurricane Milton is scary. I live in Michigan now, not Ohio, but we are praying for all of you. Stay vigilant, stay safe. The Lord protect you and your loved ones, praying for this over all who have been affected by theae hurricanes

Thank you! The hurricane should be far enough north to minimize any damaging weather here, but I’ll be praying for those that are in the dangerous path! 🙏

@@james.flores thank you, James! Now if I can figure out how “flows” work on Dorico, things will be even smoother. I’m not even sure what a flow means yet. Lol. 😊😂😊
