Once you’re part of the GoIdaho family you truly are like Greg said. We were invited to an event even before we actually moved here. We were just visiting. If you’re thinking of relocating to Idaho reach out to Greg or the team at Go Idaho!
Yeah tough to beat rapidly increasing crime, high taxes, almost the highest gas prices in the country, high traffic constantly, graffiti most everywhere, social decay, rampamt drugs as well as drugs users on lots of corners to entertain your kids, security at most every grocery store plus lots of stuff locked behind glass to reduce theft, terrible quality of schools, inflated prices for food and consumer goods, highy; restrictive governmental laws and enforcement so much to love and that's only touching the tip of the iceberg
Okay, I have to say- my husband and I moved here in April 2023 and it was the best decision ever! The cost of living in CA was bleeding us dry, the traffic, the homelessness and overall dirtiness of LA was getting to be too much! (and we had lived in CA all our lives) We LOVE it here! People are friendly, everywhere you go employees are happy and have a good attitude, the four seasons here are amazing- even the snow is great! We also could not get over how clean downtown Boise is! It is clean and easy to get parking (unlike LA). As for entertainment, we have gone to like 6 concerts since we have been here (big and small venues) it has been perfect! We do not feel like anything is lacking here! Plenty of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, beautiful scenery and outdoor activities, friendly people, gorgeous homes at great prices- what more could anyone want? We literally flew in last February, looked at a home and made a decision to move right there and then- and Greg and his team from Go Idaho were great at helping us seal the deal to get our awesome dream home! If you are considering the move, do it! And have Greg and Go Idaho help you find your new home! You will NOT regret it!
California government does suck, but you can't beat the weather and tons of places to visit, mountains, ocean. Fortunately we have the resources to live in California and be unaffected by the crime and homeless.
They’re leaving because our government is 30 years behind in infrastructure. We have city council members who don’t serve but just fill their pockets. City government allows developers who form shell corporations then come up here build crap products then dissolve the LLC afterwards so we can’t sue. It’s getting bad. Traffic is unreal. Schools are impacted and instead of the city councils PROTECTING we who are here they just line their pockets. I’ll be leaving this area too. We have to have MANAGED GROWTH. Not profiteering When people leave here to make home base in California that’s a HUGE red flag
Love the area however, I heard the mayor of Nampa is a swampy...if you know what I mean. Boise mayor is besties w/Newsome. Boise is spreading out to the TV, if you know what I mean.
Even God fearing and obeying and family oriented Christian conservatives can leave Idaho. As they say, “Do what works for you in a godly and ethical way.”
Wow! Beautiful home. Many fam and I visited Meridian/Boise in November, and it was spectacular. How far is that house from m Meridian? I wonder how much it’s going for.
You’re 5 minutes from the west side of Meridian & it’s listed at 519,900. Thanks so much for watching! If we can help with anymore questions about the area, give us a call or text. (208) 536-0242

Are water park in San Dimas is called raging Waters. That is disgusting and everybody poops in it. You don’t wanna go there. It’s not clean like Boise Idaho water park nothing but heathens at raging Waters.
Cant really take their reason at face value since the main reason was the RV lifestyle. Show me some younger families who decided to move from Boise back to LA……….crickets

Ahh thank you! Means a lot
So Cal blows away Boise. Beaches, mountains, weather, job opportunities. So Cal is awesome if you've got the $. It's expensive for a good reason.
Key term if you got the money. And to make it actually worth it. I wouldn't move back unless I made over 100k
Yes! Sell it more, keep the Californians where they are
You forgot high taxes, crime, homelessness, etc
stay there

THE WEATHER, LOTS OF SNOW TODAY AND COLD BRRRRR.
Yup it's a cold one.
I have a parent of one of my students who moved to Idaho and absolutely hates it. I don't know what they have decided to do.

lol! Traffic is “unreal” eh? LMAO. Sounds like you should take a California vacation to educate yourself on “traffic”
Like Ca government is an improvement?
Love the area however, I heard the mayor of Nampa is a swampy...if you know what I mean. Boise mayor is besties w/Newsome. Boise is spreading out to the TV, if you know what I mean.
You said it better than anyone.....
I don’t see how he can complain about traffic temacula is jam packed
Population of Temecula is 110k, around half of the population of Boise.
Even God fearing and obeying and family oriented Christian conservatives can leave Idaho. As they say, “Do what works for you in a godly and ethical way.”
I like that Bradford white water heater has a six year warranty
What’s the cost of the house in the video?
It’s listed for $519,900
@@wendybernards2756 Thank you!
Temecula is really nice dude I know that area really good
Yeah it is
Temecula was nice, but too crowded now. Traffic is insane there.
They're too stationary in a home.. There's more joy in life when you can travel and see more.. I understand what they're thinking.

Why not base out of a state with no income tax on your retirement.
CA does not tax Social Security income. And thanks to Prop 13, CA property tax won't go up more than 2% per year.
The weather.
Okay...here's the big question. Price on this home? 😊
Star/Nampa area is not Boise…don’t mislead people. That’s where all the growth is now and traffic is a nightmare.
Hi Wendy 👋 what community is this house in ?
Hi Scott! Lekeitio Village in Nampa. :)
So you do NOT discuss why people are returning to CALI, just an ad for 1 home you have listed. Title and entire video is disingenuous at best.
Did you watch to the end? They absolutely talk about it.
👍👍
don't let the door on your out
What about the property taxes in a property like that one?

Thanks for the comment. Holy Cow is great!
A steel if someone moves in as is with all the furniture everything can’t wait to see how much that would be plus HOAO
Good for them to pay CA taxes.
Why not just winter down south and travel the northwest in summer?...snowbirding is a thing
Not a bad idea.
@@GoIdaho I agree, but it sounded like cold weather and inconvenience were big factors.

Raging Waters fell apart in the late 90's. It was amazing in the 80's to the early 90's.
When 3rd world comes in and breeds you have the 3rd world attitudes and ignorance.
VERY NICE HOUSE AND INFOMERCIAL ,
Traffic at a Light 🤣 they must have never commuted on the 91fwy 😂
or the 405 parking lot
That tacky tile in the bathroom will go out of style. It should be a nice slate tile.
No trees, house crowding, lacking in natural landscapes. I’ll stay here in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in beautiful CA.
That is so not true. Plenty of trees, open natural spaces, large homesteads...
..oh wait, it IS true. Please spread the word. Stay in CA.
snow??? Too cold??????? the house is perfect
It's a pretty darn nice house for sure.
YIPES! Those houses are way too close together! Might as well live in an apartment...
Those houses would look more appealing if they were on a two; or three acre lot with fencing around them.
Bye!
