Love it! You pronounced it exactly right. I've been there many times. There's a restored canal town there, Roscoe Village, that's sort of a tourist attraction. In a bit of darker history, Coshocton was the site of a massacre of Lenape Indians by a Pennsylvania militia; the European settlers were seeking retribution for some killings and horse thefts, which occurred along the westward-moving frontier. In a fit of ignorant, blind rage, they brutally murdered the settlement of Lenape--pacifists and Christian converts--in Coshocton County. Now the area is home to many pacifists of another sort: Amish and Mennonite families and farms.
