Omg. I can only say it looks just like the one I had. Oh, how I miss that car. Out of all the cars I've owned, I miss this one the most. It was wonderful to drive. So beautiful so comfortable so everything! Buddy, you are a lucky man to have found it. One difference, mine was white inside and out. White leather interior. Other than that, it looks like my car.
There are two features on this car that probably make it a one of one. First, it has no body side moldings, and secondly it has no vinyl top which is extremely rare on these Lincolns. Also, if you like the 460 in this one, you'd love the 1970-71 engines because by 1972 the horsepower had been greatly reduced, even considering the new conversion methods. My dad purchased a new 1970 coupe like this back in 70, and in later years I had one too. They were beautiful machines, but they rusted very very easily in any salty environments, which is why you see so few today.
My father’s first Lincoln was a 73 coupe same body as this. His was brown with the tan top. I have a 79 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe.. Mine is the same color combination as my father’s first Lincoln. But mine has the rectangle opera windows. I posted a few videos of it. The second Lincoln that my father owned was a gold 1976 continental town coupe which had the same rectangle opera windows that I have. I missed that car when he got rid of it when I was a kid. In 2020 I was fortunate enough to be able to get the Continental Town Coupe I have now.
A lot of those Lincoln Continentals from that period also had vinyl tops. Few had hard tops. Those cars also glide at 60 mph on their own with little to no gas petal use. Very comfortable to sit in too. Most Continentals were also four doors. The two door Continentals are not as common, and to find one with a hard top is rare.
My dad had a 3 door of the same year. He bought it used from a dealer sometime in the mid-80's. I had an annoying lifter tick but nevertheless ran fine. Great car in the snow, huge back seat and trunk. Surprisingly easy car to drive in spite of its immense bulk.
Beautiful, and without a vinyl top she looks great.

It's beautiful! That interior is one of the two standard cloth interior choices. Of course, leather upholstery was available at extra cost.
Gorgeous

The ‘73 Imperial was a little longer than this Continental
Great condition for those miles. Back in the day they wore out a lot quicker!
Incredible! Absolut! ! I wanna....
