    Beautiful beautiful car.
    2023 - I hope my Mark IV comes out just as nice. It is currently being renovated after 20 years of driving it.

    I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♂️ how I missed this video but, I enjoyed it so very, very, very, very much. My dad 👨🏾👴🏾had a great👍🏾😊😌 friend who same year same everything but different color and vinyl roof. The vinyl roof was a really deep dark brown and the body was a light beige with beige matching interior. He would let my dad👨🏾 👴🏾use his Lincoln Continental town Coupe whenever he needed it with no problem.
    What an amazing🤩🥲,awesome👏🏾😎🤩 great👍🏾😊😌,magnificent smooth,spectacular,splendrous, and wondrous riding ride it was.
    I remember and think🤔💭🧐 about that ride too this very day and it’s a damn shame that they don’t build,create,make and manufacture rides like that anymore.
    My hats 🎩🧢 off and two thumbs 👍🏾👍🏾 up ⬆️🆙🔝 to the 2nd generation of keeping that ride that once belonged to his mom and keeping it in the family and for restoring it when his mom first brought it home brand spanking new.
    To Mann’s Restoration on restoring that ride my hats🎩🧢 off and two thumbs👍🏾👍🏾 up take a bow or two take a bow people. The Job and Work that you did on that was awesome👏🏾😎🤩 absolutely, positively totally awesome. You see i am not your average typical African American Man 👨🏾 we all be long to one race and that’s known as The Human Race…
    Sincerely Yours Truly
    Your Brother👨🏾👦🏾 from another Mother 👩🏽👵🏽

    Hello Jeff, Sweet ‘73 in Great color combo. What Great Work Mann’s does. I had Both a ‘73 Caddy Fleetwood and a ‘73 Town Car both Brown but not at the same time. Why the Lincoln is much cleaner lines then the Caddy, the Caddy definitely was the better put together car with a better ride and better materials used. I’m sure it cost more to in the day. I always loved the look of this generation Lincolns with it’s hideaway headlights. :))

    • @RamblinAround
      @RamblinAround  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      They really do great work. I'd agree that generally the Caddy's had a bit better build quality. I really like the hideaways too. Thanks for taking a look my friend!

    I once had a 73 Continental coupe like this! Mine was split pea green with forest green top and leather interior. It was such a joy to drive, and was simply fantastic on the highway. Mine had the aluminum turbine wheels from a later model towncar, but they really set it off. I wound up crashing it into the back of a semi trailer when I couldn't stop in time, crunched in the right front corner, and couldn't find parts to fix it. I sold it to a local guy who kept it for a few years. He ultimately sold it to some kids, and I happened to see it one last time blasting down the highway going in the opposite direction as I was. I wonder what became of it.

    Like stated in the video, very few people pay to restore these cars back to this beautiful condition because they dont bring a lot of money at resale. Thankfully this was a family treasure and we can see it in its former glory. Sad the owner didnt want to pay to have a new wiper motor installed as you can see the park gears must be stripped since they were not pulled down to their concealed position. First car I watched on this channel, I hope to see more non traditional cars like these in the future.

    Hey, it is possible to have custom car horns made as well? I love the sound of those classic Lincoln horns on almost all of those classic Continentals. Can horns be reproduced to have the same loud musical sound just like before but with brand new custom or reproduction horns? I love the sound of those stock Lincoln horns from the 60s & 70s.

    When I was little kid my mom had a Lincoln just like that the only difference it was white but same year everything else was the same.
    I’d love to own one now.

    Really clean! I always wondered, can a company make interior parts from scratch, like if you ask them to create a dashboard from scratch..

    • @RamblinAround
      @RamblinAround  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They definitely could do that, but anything custom like that, is going to be pretty expensive.

    Looked like a oil filter coming out the back/side of the air cleaner?

    • @RamblinAround
      @RamblinAround  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's exactly what I said, when I saw it. It's actually an air cleaner resonance chamber...supposed to lessen the sound of the secondaries opening up.

    I restored a 1987 Pulsar. I got it to the point where I was putting in the fluids. Filled the oil and transmission then started it up. Let it run and checked for leaks. Shut it down and checked the oil again. Good to go. Lets ride! Put it in drive and....nothing. Totally lost and clueless as to what to do. I shut the garage door and slept on it. The next day without missing a beat. I got up. Opened the garage door. Started it up. Pulled the xmsn dip stick out and added another quart! Brrrm, brrrrm!

    How much did it cost? Just to know how many kidneys I have to sell. I have two. Continentals,
