Without a doubt the most thought out mono in the world. But that's coming from someone who's never even seen a sailboat up close never mind been on one. But from watching A LOT of videos of A LOT of boats its clear to even me that this boat is step above the rest.

This beautifully designed and well thought out yacht has just made the number 1 position on my wish list! It has even interested my other half and made the discussion about living on-board full time that much easier to approach. So well done, I'll be watching the build of the 44 with great interest. My only complaint for the videos is Sam. He must be the most disinterested person I've ever seen in walkthrough videos. His lack of interest and enthusiasm really detracts from the incredible boat. Besides that, incredible. Just incredible from every aspect.

Beautiful. This is the sort of yacht that I dream about.

I have a hunch within a few years more and more mainstream sailboats from companies we are familiar with, will begin to borrow ideas from D. B. and, as a consequence, become safer, and more robust for open ocean sailing. Can't imagine all these companies aren't already looking very closely at how Kraken Yachts are built, and all the brilliant and quite logic features it has introduced so far.

Finally a cruising yacht that actually looks good! I wish they could test it in some giant rogue waves. They could make it remotely controlled via Starlink, attach a bunch of waterproof cameras and send it to a place known for rogue waves. It would be great marketing if it makes it!

Having the lifeboat in a deep locker might make it difficult to retrieve in an emergency situation. At least the liferaft is far away from the engine room. Some boats have the liferaft next to the engine room

Kıçtaki lazeretin kapağı geniş olsa, boylamasına dikey olarak şişme kayık giremez mi oraya?

The notion that a keel stepped mast will necessarily survive a broken stay is the sort of dogma which is generally the provice of a lay person, rather than a rigging engineer with good practical and technical knowlege. Unless the wall thickness of the spar is progressively increased towards the plane of deck penetration to 2.5 or 3 times the ruling dimension, there is likely to be a crumpling failure.

Really a robust design. One thing though, the stairs from the swimming platform to the deck is a bit steep, no? Imagine a 70year old retiree who is living his/her dream trying to climb there after a nice swim...
