At first I thought this was gonna turn into a smash bros audio drama and I walked out genuinely surprised. I loved everything about this and the acting is top notch, everyone sound super close to the original va's

Honestly that was just a coincidence. I knew for a while that I wanted to do Kid Icarus first when it came to these videos. It definitely did dawn on me though. I could’ve waited for the actual anniversary, but you know, the video was finished and I wasn’t gonna wait a month or two just to release this. But yeah, I hope this is a good tribute to the game! Stay tuned for more!
@@starfalchion4404 Understood especially for working hard on scripts, editing, casting and voice acting. When it came out, I’ve wanted Palutena in Smash and since she became playable, she’s been my main after finishing classic mode on both Wii U & 3DS at 9.0 without losing a stock. They’re better skill players but I still do my best. 😀

This is absolutely amazing. The voice acting is on point, the visuals are amazing, the sound effects are outstanding, and dear palutena the writing is perfect. Sakurai needs to get on a kid icarus uprising 2. AND IT NEEDS TO LIVE UP TO THIS.

I like the portrayal of Palu here.
While she's still a bit of a snarky troll, she seems to have grown more respect for Pit over time since the last adventure when their relationship was sort of a "No other better option".
Organic character development.
My interpretation and portrayal of Palutena has always been less mother and more big sister to Pit. She’ll troll him to the ends of the Earth but she still loves and respects him for all that he does. I wanted to bring that element back as I feel that aspect was sort of lost in Smash.

Yeeahh, about that. Chronicles has been canceled, there will be no new content about that series from Star in the coming future. It sucks I know, but he made his choice

@@reviewer945 Yeah sorry I never updated you guys on that. I decided I wasn’t happy with the direction Chronicles was going so I went back to the drawing board. What I will say is I intend to tell a new story with the style you see in this video. I hope you’ll be willing to stick around for it. I plan to tell a new, better story while maintaining the focus on characterization and story-telling Chronicles had.

Machinima. That's a word I haven't heard in awhile
This is very interesting. Although, there is one big problem... If Dark Pit kills Pit, then Dark Pit will die. Because of that, Dark Pit will not kill Pit. He even goes as far as to protect Pit, as seen in chapters 21 and 22. Although, I can see Dark Pit want to beat Pit in a fight (without killing him) to try and prove that he is superior.
So, how will you manage to deal with this problem if this becomes a series?
He only wants to battle Pit. He enjoys the thrill of battle, especially against his other self. He only wants to beat him in a fair non-murdering match (so he and him won’t die if one of them beats the other since Pit doesn’t want to kill Dark Pit either.)
His alliance with Viridi is a hesitant one. He arranged for him to join her as an officer in exchange for granting him the power of flight. However, he has no interest in contributing to her war. She just has to point him into a fight that interests him and he’ll do it. This makes him perfect for dealing with Pit, who is a major threat to her in her conquest against humanity. Dark Pit can’t help himself but want to challenge Pit, making him the perfect way to slow Palutena’s army down. Dark Pit doesn’t really care, since balance hasn’t been at risk since Hades isn’t pulling strings anymore.
Of course, if a bigger world-ending threat comes in, he will not hesitate but assist Pit in battling that. He may be an independent, violent angel that only really enjoys the thrill of battle, but he will still try to fight on the right side when it matters. That’s how I see Dark Pit anyway and is a major part of my portrayal of him.
@@starfalchion4404 okay. Although, if pit were to kill dark pit, then only his dark clone would die. Pit would not be affected, aside from the injuries dark pit would give him.
Also, what may also make for good characterization, is if (when dark pit once again allies with pit) realizes that no matter what he may do, he will always just be a bodyguard to palutena's servant. Causing him to grow angry and lash out against the enemies, and even pit and palutena. And with that, (if you want to include a shocking twist) give the enemy an opportunity to kill dark pit.
This may give the audience a tragic tale of pit's dark, flawed clone. An angel who was forced to be a bodyguard so he himself does not die, an angel who craves combat due to their origin. (that being Pandora's mirror, which is said to create a copy that is allied to the underworld, essentially making them evil. But as I said before, dark pit is a flawed clone. He may not be allied with the underworld, but he still has some dark traits.) Telling a character's story like that may make the overall story you are telling more intriguing.
