Bartow house used in 90’s film ‘My Girl’ now home for young single mothers

The coming-of-age 90’s classic movie “My Girl” was filmed at a house in Bartow. The iconic home is now being renovated for a different purpose. The six bedrooms inside the historic Bartow home are being transformed for first-time mothers. “Each room is going to have a bassinet or a mini crib,” said Debbie Kelly, resident and program director for Hope House.

This house looks like a beautiful home ,that was a appartment house in 1979 ,in Bartow i lived in the owners actually had a home connected to back yard, could this be same BROADWAY home

I moved the ppl out of this house in 2018 it was a bed and breakfast with the movie theme and props

Let's hope its not a old fashioned mother and baby home where there was forced adoptions. No offense and I am not trying to be a Debby Downer.
