@@dumbeezy5480 it’s a great car. I have like 2 recalls I gotta get done which is a little frustrating since I’m always busy with work so there are some quality control issues but other than that it’s a great drivers car. Very driver focused and not as harsh of a ride as other people make it out to be even in N mode. It’s fun popping the exhaust under overpasses and gets super good gas mileage. The infotainment screen is snappy and very useful with the maps app. The trunk is hella spacious and so is the legroom in the back. For $35k with the DCT I think it’s the best car in its class. Sure the new civic type R is better, even the fk8 is better but, all those cars cost at least $5-$20k more if we’re talking markups for the new type R. You could get a stage 2 tune and dump a couple hundred or more to get it tuned by SXTH element and some bolt ons with the money you save not buying a type R and you could probably dust the type R or be on par. If you’re thinking of getting it grab one. Well worth the money.

I got it in dark blue and it looks way better in person. Why painting the grill? 🤔 . The cons of this car ... if u r a heavy guy with a wide back ,this car might not be for u ,because of the shape of bucket seats . to exit the car it might be unconfortable for some. The mount braking light might block a small area when u look on the rearview mirror. The doors open really wide ,and u might need to step out to reach it and close it. When parking ,u need to be careful with the front lip "red trim" area. No rear seat features like usb ports and cup holders. Front cup holder adapter is convenient but also can get stuck on the cup when u pick up certain cups Pros: very fun to drive car specially the DCT version . Quick smooth shifts with DCT. Ride quality good for being a sports car. Many driving modes to choose with two custom modes to save to your likings. Very good mpg close to regular elantra. on my city ,with traffic i get 30 31mpg on eco or normal mode. Its fast and responsive ,NGS (dct only) its awesome. handles extremely well at high speed turns. Has Many safety features like blind spot alerts ,forward collition etc. Bose audio system is good with nice bass. Nice well made infotainment with big screen and many features. Very bright led low beams. Excellent braking. Compared to the type R its better in many areas including price

I'm just riding along look down and I'm like okay I'm going 100 mph lol. It's that planted and I'm running potenza all seasons. The dealer ruined my Michelina putting these on. And all of my rims. They now have to buy them all new for the tune of around 3k.
Love this video! I'm struggling to decide between this car or a cadillac ct4v blackwing (I know they're pretty different) but this car seems like such a good deal, it seems almost criminal going for the cadi.
This car is a fun daily but if the cadi fits in your budget, hands down I’d say go with that beast! It’s a beauty!! 👏🏽👏🏽
Great job 👏
Thank you!
Conrgats on your car, just bought this in the intense blue color. Gotta go on Monday to sing my paperwork and everything is set I'm so excited. Where'd you get the front clip when you debadged the hyundai badge there?
Awesome! Congrats to you! 👏🏽
Got it off eBay! We have a video on it if you wanna check it out. The description will have the link.
hows it been
@@KDMStation thank you sorry for the late reply never noticed you responded!
@@alvincolon1 No ragrets?
How is the noise inside the car and suspension in normal mode?
Smooth! Very little road noise. You can definitely tell the difference between all modes
@@KDMStation Maybe you should do and in depth review on the driving modes and how they feel. All the popular reviewers skipped this. It would be a good opportunity to cover this area.
We bought the same car.
I'm definitely going to get this car. And I'm definitely getting it tuned by Lap3 ♥
Hey I have a question for you. Do you find the sport seats comfortable? This is on short list of cars I’m considering getting. I feel like this would obviously be a super fun daily but i also drive a bit to visit family. (10 hrs plus)
The seats are comfortable for people with a smaller build. If you’re on the bigger build size then I have heard numerous people say they are uncomfortable for bigger sized people.. the bucket seats really hug you in so they can seem a little stiff. Overall I like them a lot!
@@KDMStation i agree with u. Im glad im not a big guy but i also feel bad for those who want this car but r big
Take a look at the kona N because u will get a bit more head room and cabin room.i owned a regular kona in 2021 so i know
@@KDMStation hey thanks I do appreciate it. Sounds like it wouldn’t be bad for me then👌🏽 thanks for sharing! 😌
@@litdoe7021 Kona N is also pretty nice 👍🏼 thanks for your input I do appreciate it :)
I've been on the fence about getting rid of my VN for one. I want a 4 door car, and I would like to swap over to DCT.
The interior alone is worth the upgrade from the vn in our opinion!
@@KDMStation agreed. Digital dash is gorgeous
Wish I could convince(trick? Lol) my wife into buying a kona N for her to ride, so I can ride BOTH Ns when I get mine lol.
Nice job on the review. The voiceover is totally fine👌👍
Appreciate that! And yes they both are amazing options 🙌🏽
I’m literally doin the exact same thing 😆
Dam great minds think alike lol I’m getting the EN manual in another two weeks, was trying to convince the lady to get the KN so I can have it All 😂😂😂

Can you link where you got the emblem-delete kit thing? Congrats on your new car btw!
th-cam.com/video/rAEEYhazpPQ/w-d-xo.html we have a link in the description of our installation video. Thank you!
@@KDMStation thanks a million! I was curious, I'm in an elantra group on FB and the older white elantras have bad paint problems. I was wondering if you were aware and if you're worried
@@raymondamoroso2049 yeah Hyundai and their white paint has always been known for issues. My wife’s last Elantra gt was white and we never had any issues for the 3 years we had it. We aren’t too concerned with this. We have insurance worst case scenario.
How much OTD?
Hello there, I just bought a white one here in Canada. I noticed in the states, the white is called ceramic white, while here it's polar white. I'm wondering if there is a difference. Is yours pearl or metallic? I'm really enjoying your videos, keep up the good work!!
Thank you! So our white has no metallic or pearl it’s just a gloss bright white
@@KDMStation Thanks for your quick reply 🙂
This are the avalon grill?
No stock grille for the Elantra N
Does the back emblem have screws too?
Yes, the back emblem does have two holes that will need to be plugged if the Hyundai emblem is removed.
No wireless apple play? What a shame
When is it available?
It’s been available in USA for a couple months now. And Canada got its shipment as well it looks like this week.
@@KDMStation yes they have showed up here in Canada in last few days...thank god we can get them here for MSRP
I'm like around 6 feet ... you think I would have trouble with this car ?
@@abelcervantes6169 I seen another review where the guy was 6ft and he had plenty of leg room front and back
Great overview!
Thank you so much!🙏🏽
Awesome and thorough video of this car! I’m getting mine in performance blue on the 14th next month. Did you take it to a shop to remove the front and back emblems? I wanted to remove the Elantra emblem in the back like yours but not sure how and afraid I could damage the paint. If you did it yourself was it easy and how to do it? Thank you and congratulations on the car. Seems hard to find one.
We have a video on removing the front emblem. And the rear emblems are easy. Fishing string and hair dryer is all you need.
Where's the H logo on the bonnet? Nice review and thank you
We have a video where I show how I removed it. Thank you for watching and the support!
th-cam.com/video/rAEEYhazpPQ/w-d-xo.html
But why tho? I would've just paint the emblem black. But to each their own.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 to some black painted emblem looks tacky. The front end looks much cleaner like this in my opinion. But yes beauty of modified cars is everybody has a different style ☺️
think i might get some door window ledge mounted cupholders or something from amazon to deal with the no rear cupholders thing. stick them in a bin or something in the trunk when not in use
That’s a good idea!
i cant make up my mind between elantra n, GR 86 and the Nissan Z.
400z is going to be very nice but a whole different price point and competition IMO. But it is a really nice car. I think the Elantra N has a lot more for it vs the 86 for sure
Put a stick on magnetic phone holder there
We actually just found a phone holder that fits perfectly in that area. So definitely buying it!
@@KDMStation mine is just a steel ball and I stuck the magnet on my phone you get bonus points because it will hang off any steel surface and also download power amp if you hadn't already to play your music through you get a graphic Equalizer with hundreds of different light shows.

Is that used
I’m pretty sure we said we bought it brand new in the video.
no cupholders in rear seats, cuz it's essentially a race car
Veloster N and Kona N are essentially race cars and they still have back seats lol
Sheeesshhhhhh🔥🙌🏼
Good job, I can see you are enjoying it because of the brake dust 😁. That damn dust is gonna be the death of me. Always cleaning it off.
Thank you. Yeah it’s all good as long as you’re having fun while driving 😁
4:55 ah yes. The typical female claymore.
Agh, yes the typical person who doesn’t understand how an airbag works.
You get approached alot from people who are curious?
Actually so far yeah. One of the hyundai dealers here asked where we got the car, since at the time there were none in Cali. And some people ask if it’s an n line.
@@KDMStation good thing u kept the n badges
Some of them cops know what's going down because some of them owns a Elantra 🤣😂
Good thing we could really care less about cops 😭
I have this exact car on order and it should be here around April. Same color, same transmission. I've been driving sporty compact cars with manuals since my first car in 1998, but this will be by far the most powerful so I'm really excited. Thanks for showing it at night too. No other review has shown the taillights or ambient lighting.
Thank you for watching our video! It really does have a good powerband from the factory. You’ll be pleasantly happy!
I just got mine yesterday its a dark blue with DCT . I ordered mine less than 2 weeks ago with just a $500 deposit. White also looks good and hopefully u get yours soon
Theres so many Ambient lighting colors to choose from. Jade green ,ocean blue ,white, yellow etc. I dont remember on top of my head
Awesome review and a great car :) Just a question where did you get the windshield protectors?
Thank you for watching! I’ll attach the link to where we bought them from. Very easy to install!

Rear hyundai logo looks out of place
It looks much cleaner to use with just the Hyundai emblem. That’s how we have had our last 3 Hyundai’s.
If you don’t mind sharing how much it cost and are there automatic available cause all the early owner reviews are manual
We paid 3k over msrp. And yes dct is available.
Out of the 100 N videos I've watched, yours is the most honest, fair and comprehensive. I am currently trying to sell my car, to buy either a black or blue DCT Elantra N. Thanks.
Thank you so much! We appreciate your support! Can’t go wrong with either color! 🔥
Sure hope you did not pay over 33k.
We paid 3k over msrp. But we also got 3k more on our trade in compared to California. So it evened out.
@@KDMStation that’s good. I seen a place in Florida that has one for 40k. So sad they are doing this to this fun little car.
@@nmode22 yeah we were first in the market for the Kona N. A local dealer had a 10k mark up on it so around 45k. We went to entertain to see what they were willing to do but they were sure they would get it from someone. That’s was a little over a month ago and needless to say it’s still there lol. We were willing to pay a small mark up but nothing insane. It really is a shame what some dealers are doing. But like we tell some people regardless of the mark up I’m sure if you show up to the dealer serious they will be able get rid of majority if not entirely.
Just one little piece of paper huh lol

Maybe you want to rewatch the video and after doing so, you'll probably notice that the "umms" are beyond excessive. You are producing a video log, so the narration is kind of important. Constructive critique
We both appreciate the criticism. We are both very new to this being on camera and recording ourselves. Luckily this is for fun. So if it really bugs anybody they are free to not watch lol but it is something we are mindful of and trying to fix.
@@KDMStation I think you did an outstanding job with this video! Nobody that watches this cares about any umms! I just purchased a white N, and appreciate the tutorial!
