  • FIRST LOOK: The Camry has been a top seller for Toyota and is getting a redesign for 2025. This sedan will compete directly with the Hondas Accord, Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5 and Nissan Altima. On the outside you will discover all new sheet metal, 19in wheels, two-tone paint and LED lighting. On the inside you will be greeted by a 12.3in infotainment screen and 12.3in digital gauge display. Under the hood is a 2.5L inline-4 paired with (2) electric motors. Is the 2025 Toyota Camry XSE the BEST new midsize sport sedan to BUY?

I currently drive a 2005 Camry. That is the fifth generation. It will be 20 years old in 2025 and maybe it's a good time to change it. Hey Raiti, I’m typing this before I watch this video. I recently opted for a 24 Accord Hybrid Sport (which I’m starting to love) over the Camry because the Camry has lacked interior improvements with the technology and the materials. Thanks for the peek at the 2025 models. I’m not really in the market for a new sedan YET, but I enjoy your reviews (and Lori’s camera work). I like being up to date on what’s available. Being a mild mannered just past middle aged man (58 years old), I prefer the sport versions of sedans but wish they could offer a different interior accent color other than red. I’ve owned a sedan that had a white/gray interior and boy does the white show the wear and dirt. Won’t go that way again. I’m currently in a medium blue exterior / dark gray interior 2019 Acura TLX V6. Nice to see Toyota improving their offerings.

  • @TheFirst1278

    Your reviews are always great.
The new Camry design is horrible. I’m always surprised that the number selling sedan is always last to get the new Toyota features. Even tundra and Prius and RAV4 had the better infotainment screen. Now toyota gives the left overs to the Camry to make sure they stretch out the tooling costs of manufacturing. What a let down Toyota has been while increasing their prices. I don’t understand why people have brand loyalty. When you lose your job and can’t pay your bills, ask your brand to pay for your bills and see what they say.

I think the new Camry looks great. I currently have a 2018 Hybrid XLE, and it has been a great car. Looking to upgrade it, and it came down to either this, or an Accord. Love the side profile, love the rear especially the more sharply defined look on the lights (gives it a 23 civic hatchback esque look) and even the front lights look sweet. However, for me something about the grill that the SE/XSE 2018-2024 design just looked much more unique instead of their on going large grill design language they have themed with their cars. Will definitely miss that look over the new one.

Toyota is being very smart with their Camry redesigns. They have finally found their younger buyer market and are making decisions that appeal to those buyers. Honda made a huge mistake with their Accord redesign, but Toyota's subtle changes are a win! I still hate that particular red for the interior. I wished they made it a bit more maroon or bordeaux or even introduce ba burt orange to mix it up a bit.

I told them, I am not selling my vehicle not that I am retires with no car payments in 2023. What on earth would Toyota of Bowie think how would I get around selling my vehicle to them? Also, I live in Washington, DC where car jackings are up 104%. Driving this beautiful 2025 Camry XSE, the Seeds of Chucky (Juveniles) and criminals would car-jack me at gunpoint stealing this vehicle. You see nice vehicles like this Toyota XSE Camry will attract thieves.

The doors and mirrors and trunk are clearly still the previous GEN car but I think they’ve done enough to make it better and they seem to be paying attention to materials fit and finish and that or Toyota has to pay more attention.

Absolutely 🔥 🔥 🔥 presentation can’t wait for more content to roll out. I think we need an option to have the emblems blacked out, we need a digital rear view mirror option, and an option to put that gorgeous brown leather other than red. And with that I don’t think the red is used fully. I think the steering wheel should get some red embellishments so it’s cohesive all through out. Will it be Apple CarPlay supported so the infortaiment is all Apple?? We’ll see.
