Good to see the upper layer in place and the layout really taking shape. You are going to be a ballasting king by the time you finish. I have all but completed the ballasting on my layout now (one 9" strip to be done) thank heavens. Enjoy your holiday and look forward to the next update. Stephen
Hi, the only connection between the upper and lower levels will be the dropper wires, I decided to have the levels separate from each other and not have ramps.
You seem to be making good progress on your layout. It is looking good. Everyone makes mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes inspire unique solutions that turn out to be interesting features in the end. Sorry to hear about the unexpected loss of your puppy. That is tough. Rob
Hi Rob, it will be interesting working out how to accommodate the higher than normal upper level. It was, and still is, very upsetting when we think about our poor puppy dying so young. Simon
@@SimonLivertonCentral Simon, I wouldn't think of it as higher than normal. It is just higher than your bridge is all. How about a taller bridge? cheers, Rob
I suggest you run your upper level dropper wires under the upper level and into the corners before you run them down to the lower level. That way they'll be easier to hide.
Very nice, thanks for sharing. Dave
Enjoy your holiday Simon , work coming along nicely
Many thanks Dave

As always Stephen, many thanks for your support. I think the ballasting will be very tedious, or therapeutic…Simon
Looking good Simon hope you are well
Many thanks, it's is enjoyable, but not too sure about all the ballasting
Have a nice holiday Simon!! Great upate by the way! Cheers Onno.
Many thanks Onno
Is there a connection between the upper and lower levels?

@@SimonLivertonCentral is there a video showing the layout in full?
Hi, on this particular build I only have videos showing each stage.

I tried to find a taller bridge but they don't make them in OO guage tall enough.

Nice suggestion Henry, all 4 sides will be covered/blanked off, so you will not see underneath anywhere...Simon
Hi Simon. Where did you get the brackets for your new panel and how did you fix the existing one? Enjoy your family trip to Florida.
Hi, I bought them from amazon, they are called Henbula Folding Shelf Brackets. They are fixed like any normal bracket...Simon
