6:23 he has that classic announcer's/host voice that's very pleasant to hear, I like the way he announced the delay and reason clearly and without fuss.
i worked on those new ones. i smile whenever i see them in service and tell my kids "mama worked on those new bart cars". definitely am proud of my work and so as the team i worked with. one of the cars i worked on is memorable to me because of sad personal reasons though.
I'm a former BART Director. I want the public to know that BART is bankrupt. Due to declining ridership it's a bottomless money pit and survives only through short term state and federal government subsidies. It's time for BART to file bankruptcy and privatize. 👎
@@arlosmith2784 I’m sorry but I disagree with your statement. Privatization isn’t the way to go since it will make things worse by having a higher chance of corruption and fare increases and which can encourage more fare evasions or people will just avoid it. Just look at the BART’s predecessor, the Key System. It was a private company and corruption and increased fares lead to its downfall and eventual shutdown. Plus BART is a public service not a corporation and all what matters is that it is transporting and serving the people around the Bay Area.

@@trevorderper5050 You obviously haven't read the report Director Debora Allen has prepared. BART is bankrupt. The only solution is privatization. 👎
