    Are YOU too TIGHT or too LOOSE in the Big Blind? 🤔

      I play a bit looser because my postflop is good against my competition level. Only reason it is so good is because of your content :)

    In my last 5 tournaments, I've placed 5 times, and 3 of those were 4th place or better. I can't even begin to thank you for these videos. The increase in bankroll has me playing with a new confidence as well.

    Thank you for this amazing free content! Defending the big blind can be tricky so the in-depth analysis and explanation is vital. Also, the post-flop segment was very informative.

    "I know this video is long"
    Literally no one is complaining about that! Thanks for all this info!

    If you opponent(s) are stupid enough to let you see the flop for free (cold call or multiple cold calls), with what range would you still raise them instead of taking the free flop? Assuming your opponent's cold call range is massive (80 to 90%) and they call almost all of you raises (they never 3-bet, but are happy to call a 10BB raise after they just open limped).

    @PokerCoaching Could you possibly make an updated video about cash game blind vs blind?

    How does all of this change as more players stay in the hand and we have preflop and postflop squeeze opportunities or mw equity?

    Question: Because I really like playing bounty builders, I feel like I can throw this whole theory (shoving with a wider range on BB when shallow stacked) out of the window because people are waiting for you to go all in to get your bounty and will call you down or put you all in first constantly? What to do in these situations?

    What is the point to have no premium hands to shove when we are 40bb depp in the tournament? Isn't that easy to exploit when there is only JTs, K9s and sometimes 99 and AQo? I know those charts are pretty good against human player but I don't understand the gto here.

    WHat's the tournament preflop raise sizing with 80bb? 2.5bb or 3bb ? ?

    • @JasonVaysberg
      @JasonVaysberg ปีที่แล้ว +1

      According to JL 2.75x IP and 3.5x OOP for greater than 60bb.

    I folded 99 in big blind. I had 10 big blinds versus UTG raise and Player next to button all in…I thought one of them had 10s or better. Against one I call but against two players??? UTG folded and the all in showed a 7 so he had 77..I was so sad. After that I got nothing and tried to steal with 64 off using my tight image but the small blind called A7 even though He was playing with me for hours and he saw me folding 99…

    I feel like cash or tournament really impacts my bb decision. Is that wrong?

    • @marksimpson2321
      @marksimpson2321 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the stack size in BB and opponents' levels , whether there is an ante and or extra bb and rake!

    Nice video!
    6:24 Against an UTG RFI, how should I think about the GTO suggestion to sometimes 3-bet hands like 77 or 76s but to only call with some similar-but-stronger hands like 88 or T9s? Why does that reraise statistical spike exist? How could I reason my way there from first principles?

      T9 and 98 are played less because of the reverse implied odds of making the bottom end of a straight when any A makes the nuts (or AK in the case of 98). The pocket pairs are a bit polar because of how likely the pair is to be an overpair vs middle/under pair. 88 is more likely to be an overpair than 77 of course. Playability postflop is important so you don't get blown off whatever equity you do have
