I lived in a cave for 2 years on that beach,was late 80s I think,wonderful time.
honestly.. this is my dream.. me and my friends going to a place like this with this group of people with phenomenal energy and mindsets. this is where i belong ❤️

To be honest, whenever I get to these kind of places, it's like they are not really open. They are chill, and nice, but doesn't really feel honest. It seems like they are close in their own group, and I always feel closed out of it. I have a hippy soul, but for example I don't smoke weed cause it makes me paranoid. I don't want and have piercings or dreadlocks. I might look more clean, and want to look more clean and tidy and don't know how to use drums (and don't want to cause to me is annoying after a while). So apparently, in any group, if you don't have a lookout of things in common, but just a few maybe, then you are excluded. This is what I don't like about these community things. Because I just want to be myself, not to do things just because the others do it. I want to do and be what I feel. But if you don't melt in completely, than you are excluded. I just wish I can find a group of people REALLY open for diversity. Because diversity doesn't mean to be all the same. Diversity means being who you really are, without any kind of scheme. And ACCEPT for real, who is different and who is just trying to be who he/she really is.... I hope I made my point... Peace ;)

I know how you feel. What if, in the end, there is no group to belong to? Every group will have some aspects that'll make you feel excluded... so don't try to belong. I say that but it's just random thoughts!
I found the same on an island...I was 20. There were people from all over the world. It was life-changing! O GOD!

We off grid in Devon since Jan, 5 acres a caravan 3 children dog and cat lol. Will never go back to babylon. I teach nei gong, we grow our food, spring water and Permaculture. Lot more mud in Devon. Wishtree Permaculture on inst and Fb. 🙏

I’m looking to get in my car and travel with my daughter I have minimal savings and no plan yet. Which places would you suggest for travelling with a 14 year old? We are currently facing homelessness with little help from authorities who are suggesting I stay in a hotel however because I’m a single parent on low income I will not get a guarantor to get a private rented it’s a vicious cycle I’m really tired off. I’m estranged from both my parents and have nothing to lose now, I’m looking for healthy and free living with time to enjoy life while home schooling my daughter- is there family safe places for us available ❤ much love 🥰

I think they went back, its like a pop up place, its not ideal in winter too exposed to the wind. It was absolutely amazing tho!

I know someone who was looking for this hippie place the other week. He thought it was in Barbate. What he didn't know is this is in the Portugal side and not in Andalucia. ...I'm open to the van life/RV lifestyle, but not the hippie lifestyle. I had the same concern as you did, which is the toilet hygiene. I found your channel by looking for off-grid living in Spain. My idea is to grow my own food, be self-sufficient as much as I can & to be able to provide for a future family. Depending on the content, I'll be watching more of your videos:-)
I think there is another beach community in andalusia actually, some people from this community had been there and I think they went back there after they got shifted from here. Thanks for tuning in and hope you check out my next hippy vibe videos in the future ✌
Seems like there are a handful of these hippie communities in Andalusia. Thanks for the jnfo. Personally, I'm not attracted to this lifestyle, but I was curious on what goes on in thesd communities. My impression is there's a lot of drugs and multiple sexual partners without commitments? Please correct me if I am wrong as I maybe judgemental.
@@IkeCantle it depends on the community. The places that have more of a transient population tend to have more of the drugs and non-commital sex as a lot of the people in those places are just breaking out of their previous way of living and exploring different parts of themselves. But there are also many communities that have a stronger intention and focus where you will find more collaboration and focus on stewarding the land and building something for the future generations. Everyone is on their own path 🙏🏼 but being self sufficient and to have compassionate communication is a beautiful intention to share within a community and may you find the people who share your values and intentions to build a community with 💜🙏🏼

That’s so sad that they got shut down!!! I wonder if they were able to set up more of a structure if they wouldn’t get shut down?
The reason they got shut down was because the neighbour of the owner complained about all the people coming, the owner of the villa was cool with it. But the community are still on the road in Portugal

Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? Learn portuguese at least. You can live off grid but you still need to adapt to our nation's laws and costumes. I see many foreigners here who recuse to learn portuguese

I can appreciate this lifestyle. However, I don’t believe it’s necessary to live in any kind of squalor. I’m not saying that is how these amazing and beautiful people were living. Good organization, preparedness, awareness will be so necessary when the evil tries to destroy us and our free will. Unfortunately there will be others that are not kind and are capable of being very dangerous. Others that will always want to take take take so selfishly in order to survive. We all know that there are these types of human beings all across the globe. I pray to the Great Creator that when the day comes that the evil raises its hammer to destroy and rule…. that people of light, love, GOOD can come together and thrive. Bringing all of the strength and intellect of many to build one moral, strong, fearless society.

Thats a shame, the camera has built in stabilisation but yea I was walking with alot of bags to get to this place, whilst filming at the sametime, I didn't wanna cut it out because its part of the journey, its raw and real just skip forward to where we are not walking anymore which I think is about half way, where you left

Interesting point... healing vs loosing yourself, I think alot of people take the path to healing first by gravitating to a state of loosing yourself for sure, then when they realize that no longer works, then the next step comes

Don't see anything cool about this "community" they're all off their faces trashing the place and doing nothing for the place...
As far as I know they didn't leave any trash. The owner of the villa let them stay there because they did up and fixed the house and he was happy with that. The wanted to make a permaculutre garden but they couldn't because another neighbour in the area wanted them gone despite the owner be ok with it. I wasn't there long enough to know if they were off their faces but I was told whilst I was there, there was a no alcohol policy and I didn't see anyone doing a illegal highs. I think there was a bit of pot but that's practically legal in Portugal. Actually it was kinda a family vibe and children were there also. Yea maybe a bit of dancing and singing for some ppl need to be off their faces to do it but not evening, some ppl just like to dance, some like to sing
@@The_Curious_Cow well if they are peeing and pooping outside yes they are trashing the place, specially near a beach. I love your channel my criticism is regarding their behaviour as a community. Making noise and bothering neighbours is not cool.
Oh I see natural trash 🤣 I agree to an extent its OK to poop outside but the quanity and proximity is an issue, the neighbours were quite far away I don't think they heard any noise I think they just did it out of principle, they wanted the beach for themself
@@The_Curious_Cow If you are a local and you care about the environment you will get upset and complain if a bunch of people turn up on your doorstep, make noise and pollute the local area with feces and urine. You may call it natural trash if you'd like but being natural doesn't mean it's not pollution. There's plenty of peer reviewed studies that will show you that.
