@@CinciHawks If Coach Mike is a success, and we become one of the stronger teams in the league, we'll definitely go back! I think we have the strongest fan base in Germany out of all the NFL teams. Which is why we were one of the first ones to play there

Give this man 2 years and he'll have a top 3 Defense in the NFL. This is a "get to know ya" season. Next year everyone will be familiar with everything on both the new defense, and offense.

It’s going to be a big learning curve with the new defense and staff, but after a few years it will be LOB 2.0. Murphy is going to be a monster on the DL.

I think he’s just more meant to be on the field coaching then doing interviews, draft day talk, etc. This is him where he thrives the most on the field

What happens if Seattle loses more games than we win…Will you still say this? I’m not trying to be negative whatsoever! We haven’t even started actual practice with pads on yet, let alone the preseason! And don’t forget the man who made the winning culture here. Pete (HOF’er) Carroll❗️He guided Seattle to the playoffs in 10 of his 14 years with the Seahawks! Smashed the highest scoring offense of ALL TIME (Denver Bronco’s) in Super Bowl 48 by a score of 43-8! Damn near had Seattle back to back Super Bowl winners, but lost in the last seconds on a INT by Russell Wilson! That play was not Carroll’s fault, it was Russell’s, period! The Patriots loaded the box to stop Beastmode, so the play was to get NE off guard and throw it on a quick slant (if obviously open, if not throw the ball away and we’d still have 2 downs for Marshawn to pound it into the end zone!) Of course Pete being Pete took all the blame, so the “golden boy” wouldn’t have to! And that was the start of the end for the Seahawks…The LOB vs Russell…Have some respect for the greatest Coach in the history of Seahawks football!

Not going to lie I like this micd up because it actually showing McDonald being hands on and correcting guys etc he changing the pace etc he wants the offense and defense to compliment each other.
This off-season has been so under wraps compared to this time last year. Felt like we were getting an OTA video every day (during this time period) player content from the VMAC and coaches/coordinator interviews-we have a brand new coaching staff and I feel like we have no idea who they are yet! 😅
Can’t wait to see Coach Mac and the Seahawks reveal more of what’s behind the scenes like we were privy to during the Carrol era
As much as I like the Macdonald hire, I think we need to adjust the expectations yeah…Everyone knows he’s a defensive genius, but it might take a season or two get the right players and teach his defensive philosophy! Also, he’s a 1st x NFL HC, we’ve also got a new offensive line coach (1st x in the NFL) and a 1st x OC in the NFL. So both offensively & defensively it’s going to take time! I’ve got no doubts that our offense should be able to put up 30 vs any team in the league! It’s going to be creative, it’s going to be explosive, and Grubb knows how to put his players in positions to excel! Our new offensive line Coach Scott Huff turned the University of Washington offensive lineman into the best o-lineman group into the best in college football! If our offensive line can keep the pocket clean, Geno should be able to pick apart opposing defenses! K-9 & Charbonnett should be gashing defenses. With K-9’s ability to break a run from anywhere on the field, and Charbonnet’s bruising style, we should have a lethal combination! And don’t forget about Kenny Macintosh, there’s a reason why they didn’t resign DJ Dallas!
If coach Mac can get this defense into a top 10-15 unit? And Grubb’s got this offense humming? Wildcard or better! Team health is almost contagious, especially if the injuries start early in the season! If as a team we can stay healthier than the’40 Whiners & Rams, we’ve got to legitimately change at winning the division! Last season we lost both our starting tackles in the first game of the season❗️It was never the same the rest of the season…We also lost Nwosu early as well! A lot of people forget just how great Nwosu played the year prior and was expecting an even bigger impact last year! With a healthy Nwosu our defense has a chance to be much faster, stronger, and better in’24!
Lastly, I’m wondering how Macdonald calling the defense, will effect his HC’ing ability? Clock management, pulling the red-card, and special teams…Remember, Alabama wanted our OC Ryan Grubb a full year before they hired Deboer as the HC! So I expect our offense to be a strength this season, especially with all the cool toys he gets to play with.

I like that the music isn’t blasting anymore! I’m all about music before and after practices, but during practice, music should be low, if not off, because especially in year 1, learning a new defense & offense, it should be more about learning, than what’s playing on the loud speakers 🔊!
