As a local scout from the Central Illinois area, Sean Payton is an Eastern Illinois school product from Nequa Naperville (1982 high school 🧑‍🎓), Illinois Naperville Central. My son plays against players from Charleston and had a great game vs them but it’s a small farm town in Charleston. Tony Romo did amazing at Eastern. I can always help as a local scout if anyone reads this.

This is the worst analysis I’ve heard. Coach Mike has worked with two of arguably the best coaches in football in the Harbaughs. The defense that Michigan has been running the last few years was installed when MacDonald was the DC for Michigan. Then he came back to Baltimore and installed the same defense seeing similarly high results. If this is someone that Jim and John Harbaugh like that’s enough for me

If you told the Ravens offense before the game that they just have to score 18 points to beat the Chiefs, how would you not expect the Ravens to win with Lamar? Then the Ravens run the ball only 10 times the whole game after Gus the Bus goes for 15 on the 1st carry. They only gave him the ball 2 more times. That Ravens offense completely lost its identity. Number one rushing offense vs the 25th ranked rush defense, yes the pass defense was 2nd but the Chiefs are not able to stop the run. Why would you get away from what brought you to the dance? I’m excited as a Hawks and a Michigan fan for Mike Macdonald. Dude is amazing. His defense held the Lions high powered offense to 6 points. He absolutely destroyed the Niners offense. He shut down Sean McVay. If he can get an experienced OC, a qb, and a few more pieces on the lines, we’ll be set to re-claim the division. Go Hawks!

He is a champ and I know the drive to win has only gotten bigger. Good luck Mike.

Yeah that's the 1 thing he doesn't have experience as head coach yet but he has to get a start somewhere just like the McVay's Shanahan's and that is what the Seahawks want and need a good young head coach who will be there for a long time and this was the best one available so ya gotta take the risk.

"Let" Travis Kelce beat him? "Until the last game"? Ravens held the Chiefs to 3 points in the last 3 quarters of the game. 0 points in the 2nd half. He adjusted immediately after the second drive. After the second quarter, those were empty yards. 88 is giving Kelce and Mahomes zero credit. If he'd sold his soul to cover Kelce alone, then Rice and the others would have feasted. He had an incredible gameplan and great adjustments. Their teammates on offense just didn't have a clue what to do, that's all.

It's time to move off the Geno Smith experiment.
Draft a QB and improve that defense.
Seattle can be a big threat to SF 49ers as the division leaders.
He should go hire Ron Rivera as the DC. Ron has HC experience and could help him understand how to manage that job.

These "analysts" just be saying a whole bunch of word salad. Is Pete Caroll not still in the Seahawks organization??? A head coach that knows the team in and out and has experience with being a head coach. That took the team to a superbowl TWO TIMES! There's a reason why it was decided for him to take an advisory roll! Because they knew that who ever was coming in was most likely not going to have HC experience. They kept saying he has no experience like he wasn't in Michigan and The Ravens with two brothers that have been in the NFL before.

Wow, wouldn't it be crazy, if on the Seahawks there was someone with a TON OF EXPERIENCE AT BEING A HEAD COACH? I mean obviously, I don't know ANYONE with 55+ years of football experience. I mean having an Advisor who's been a HC is such a rare thing to have. . . and the Seahawks might, maybe possibly have just that.
