The more I hear him talk, the more I like him. The "less aware" 12's need to give him the chance and the time he will need. But this guy could be the next great coach in this league. I have always loved John Harbaugh, and he reminds me so much of him. I mean, how could he not. He has been surrounded by great coaches with great football minds his entire coaching career. Georgia, Michigan, Baltimore...Seattle.
I'm a loyal 12 and I really thought I would be heart broken when Pete stepped down. I wasn't. I was ready. Pete was ready. 14 years of leaving heart, mind body and soul on a football field is an exhausting job. Coach Pete is still VERY MUCH a part of our team. He's going to continue being there just in a different office. I'm excited about Mike. I've watched and read just about everything I can get my hands on and this is a BRILLIANT DECISION to hire him. Look at what and who he's bringing with him! It's going to be a new dawn and a new day and a new life for our Hawks... and I'm feelin' good!😎💙💚

@@susanmartin3762 I'm sorry to say, but KJ confirmed on his podcast that Pete is not interested or going to take up the "advisor" position. Apparently Pete was offered that to save face and hide the fact that he was fired.

Man... Mike has had some BAD interviews. local news asking him LAME questions. This is what i love about Brock n Saulk. They have a constructive conversation, they ask unique questions without making the coach uncomfortable or wondering "is our time up yet?" which is how i felt he was with Paul Silvi.

@@williamle3847 people look for patterns and meanings in every little thing. from the random alignment of stars and tea leaves to a meaningless ordering of a sentence. drew lock is not going to replace the two time pro bowler, barring a catastrophic injury.
He's good...really like him and must be given time. No knee jerk reactions as there'll be rocky times along the way.

Going through the rollercoaster of emotions from sad and kinda resentful to now, I'm pretty excited about the future. The unknown is uncomfortable, but the chance of upside and ceiling make it fun.
