@@dudewecanfixit That's awesome! Me too!! 😀 I tried taking my cylinder apart a bit ago but I couldn't loosen the end cap with my gland nut wrench. It was too tight. Any suggestions?
@@dudewecanfixit I had the breaker bar on it. I thought about a cheater pipe but like you mentioned, I'm not sure I can keep the pins from slipping out if I use more leverage. I guess I don't have much choice though. I may spray some wd-40 on it and let it soak awhile. Not sure if it will help but I don't think it will hurt either. 🙏🙂
Thanks for the video. At 12:06 you mention hydraulics. Does this mean some tractors power steering runs on hydraulic fluid and shares it with the rest of the system?
I'll see if I can find it, but these parts are difficult to get part numbers for. If you have a local hydraulic shop, they usually have generic parts on the shelf that will work
@@dudewecanfixit I know the last guy asked but did you happen to find the part number for the seal kit. I'm pretty sure I have the same cylinder but I'm not really certain of the seal kits I'm finding will fit and I don't have a local hydraulic shop. Thank and Great video .
Mine kept leaking out all the power steering fluid and then I couldn’t turn at all. I’m not sure if it is the same kit, and I don’t know a great place to cross reference. Maybe try Yesterdays tractors website. It’s so hard to find part information for older machines
Hi Jack Johnson, did you figure out your steering issue? I have a MF 50HX and the steering wheel will continuously turn around and around with not hardly moving the wheels. Just wondering if you fixed the issue and what was it?
Such a calm voice. No swearing or tool flinging like my work has.
Lol, just none of that on video!
Thanks, dude! Excellent presentation. Very well put together. I appreciate it. Have a great day and God bless you! 👍🏻
Thanks! God blesses me every day.

You need more leverage (longer handle), think floor jack handle or cheater pipe. However, don’t let it slip out. You don’t want to wallow out the hole

That extra black o ring goes under the white seal on the ram. Other than that good, clear and concise video.

Látszik rajta, hogy most csinálja először!
Szerintem csinált már ilyet!
Would like to see a video on R&R starter on a Ford 345c tractor. Thanks
If I had that tractor, I would lol

This tractor has a power steering pump, so the steering is an isolated hydraulic system.
I’m pretty sure that I’m working on that same exact cylinder and I’m having trouble finding parts . Could you post a link to that seal kit

Nvm, I saw the package when I watched the video ago. 1749798m91 if anyone else needs it. Thanks again for the video.
Good eye, I didn't find the part numbers
Hey Bud, I have an MF50 loader, is this the same kit? I was having problems with the tractor steering left or right Is that what happened with yours?.

Where can I buy the seals?
What is it for?
