Love me some Shaun Murray. The guy who turned us onto you just came down with a very serious illness and I needed a distraction from my broken heart. Thanks Shaun. If you can drop a prayer for my loved one.
We pulled the fins off our Murray board yesterday to try it out. It was fun, harder but also in sowe ways easier. We put the fins back on and went for another ride and right away felt that we were all a tad better then being trying a session fin less. So I'd suggest everyone if you have a day that the conditions are amazing pull those fins and give it a try. Our boat wouldn't hold a speed slow enough to make it really fun but if you could hold a speed around 16-17 it would be super fun.
That looked awesome, I am 68 and still going out, doing the best I can and your videos are not only informative but inspiring. Thanks for sharing. The water is cold here in SoCal.
What a great and scary way to get the first ride of the new year! What do you call the tail press/butter trick at 3:10 ? Looks awesome definitely one to put on the list to learn!
Hey brother I’ve just started learning. At what point would u remove the fins. Right now I’m still so fresh I’m afraid to cut across over the wake when I’m outside😅

Great insight and very true. Taking fins off makes you be very intentional and have to take your time, but beneficial for sure.
I got my new Murray 150 can’t wait to ride it 👊
Stoked! Let me know how it goes 👊🏼
Love the water shooting up through the holes where the bolts were!
Right?!
Such a joy to watch your videos Shaun! Even a “prove you are mortal” fall😂. Keep ‘em coming

what is that slide called that you do on the tail edges of the board with the rest in the air? It looks soo good
Tailslide could be what you're referring to. At least that's what I call it. 😊

Right on! No pressure to remove em but if/when you do, slow down a bit so your board sits a little lower in the water and makes it easier to control.
Got a new higher performance board yesterday and I was like how come I can’t turn and I took the fins of and I’ve never had more fun on the water
Nice ✌️
The BEST
Butter Boarding!!!
sweeet!! ✌️🤙🔥

You can wake board on glass in the US in January without a wetsuit? Where is this place?
Central Florida for the win

At least you didn't face plant like last time you put up a vid going finless!
