- In this video, I'll show you how I crafted these modular river tiles out of XPS foam. These are perfect for dividing up your board for any tabletop game such as Warhammer or Dungeons and Dragons.

This is an amazing idea. I just got into terrain making and this solves my issue with using resin around a 10 month old baby. Thank you!
Definitely a safer alternative! Thanks for watching 🙌
Really good idea with the clear modpodge. I always used epoxy for water which sometimes gets messy.
It's definitley a less stressful alternative!
Another great video, well done!
Really good!
Thank you!
You should make a bridge to go over the river. Because I’d love to learn how to make a bridge.
I'd love to do a bridge video one day. I'll add it to the list!
Really good video! As a suggestion if you're short on time try mixing your PVA, base colour paint of choice, and some grit together to make your own self-adhering texture paint! I use this on pretty much all of my terrain pieces and it cuts out the steps of having to PVA the grit, wait for that to dry, then paint and wait for that to dry. If you use Mod Podge in place of normal PVA you'll also get the same result but with that harder and more durable 'shell' that Mod Podge dries to which is great.
I love pre-mixing for bigger things like tables. Smaller things I don't mind too much. You're right though, It would definitley save time!
If I don't invest in a foam cutter, is there a substitute material that you recommend that won't easily warp?
Try using foamboard. It comes at this size already (~3mm) so no need for a hot wire cutter. Very similar to what was used in this video.
Gut gemacht freund!
Thank you!
Looks amazing. I'll need to try making these for my collection.
Why did you use choose wood glue? I've seen others using it as well. Is there an advantage over PVA?
Thanks! Wood glue has a higher tack and dries quicker. Especially the type I'm using. It works really well with foam and avoids the need for a glue gun which tends to get a bit messy.
Awesome! More content for rangers of shadow deep please!!
Thank you! More to come. 😀
