    I'm sure gonna miss this route. Glad to ride it one last time together with Thuong-chan :)

      GoPro 10 seems to do just fine, even in low light. Some bumps did 'blurred' for second, but overall I would say 'very nice'!

    Commuting rides were always special! So many, many fascinating things you’ve shared. This route has become very familiar to me too. Going to miss lovely place on earth called Japan - all the distant hills, enchanting countryside, beautiful rivers, your cycling rides, courtesy of people, everything.. heavenly..

    Thanks Cruise and Thoung for exploring new and sometimes random routes to us, that in the long term we feel familiar to it. Thats why we love your channel, you go to places that we cant go. You live the dream for us.

    I do not think you relise just how lucky you were on those paths ! They were actually not busy at all for a weekend.
    I live in England and my local country lanes get so much busier than that throughout the wee !
    I also need to thank you for the solid tyres review you did a while ago. I trusted your advice and switched to them on my bike, after yet another puncture caused by thorny hedge trimmings, which forced me into a huge walk to get back home.
    They are excellent on all surfaces and I will never switch back to standard tyres for my daily country rides. I am so grateful for your advice !

    I liked the bike commute. Alot of different scenery. Liked the train passing by segment. I have that same problem here in the States. Walkers especially, walking in the bike paths instead on their walking path side...smh. The video and sound was great. Thanks for sharing you two...🎥😃👍👌👊🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a big problem here too. Even when they have separate areas, the walkers will use the cycling path. Ironically, there's a "cycling course" near the start of this video that's dominated by walkers and runners haha

    • @kevinfeeney5309
      @kevinfeeney5309 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Main reason why I stopped using the bike paths along venice and Santa Monica beaches. Too many pedestrians using the bikes only sections walking 10 abreast hogging the entire path, both ways.

  • @GarryFam
    @GarryFam 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    many thing i want to say in this video
    1 Tiny dog , light feeding ,easy to carry up , wont bite people , no need big cage save cost and space save. and walking dog is good to cure depression and to know new friend .
    2 GoPro10 4K in low light a lot motion blur and lost stabilizer in bumpy road just like 8 , but i realize the ending part is good quality i guess the reason you're not moving . Overall DJI still better abit (for me ) XDD
    3 Gonna miss the route , Quite rare to find a good patch for long ride without traffic light, good view in other Asia country . From Malaysia .

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for sharing! Little dogs definitely makes sense for a lot of reasons. Pocket 2 wins in low light for sure, and I'm really gonna miss this long safe route. Hopefully we're able to find some new ones.

    A double "lets go!" Love it! 😄 I rarely see anyone else in your videos who are riding drop bar road bikes or look like serious cyclists. Here in Michigan even on the rail trails you still see nice road and gravel bikes. Is recreational cycling not as big in Japan?

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are a decent amount, but they rarely ride on weekdays because of work. Only early morning on weekends and most never ride on these paths

    I know these route so well that I could easily find the way from your home to your Working Place or the other direction. I really like that big tower on the river side. Makes me a little sad that you went out of Nagoya. Best wishes for both of you, Maybe you remember me from older videos, Thomas from Germany. Ps, my old account was banned because of my political views here in Germany, but with a VPN everything goes 😉

    Excellent video quality on the GoPro Hero 10 camera. I have a GoPro Hero 5 that I take on my bike rides. I have it mounted to the handlebar using a rigid aluminum mount. It works like a charm with minimal bumps and blurring of the video. I would definitely recommend this method. For rides in excess of one hour, I bring along a compact battery bank. It gives me over 5 hours of non-stop footage. I picked one up from Walmart for less than $20. I mount it to my top tube using some electrical tape and a small usb-c cable. Not the best way to do it, but it's just a temporary solution for greater rides. I did a GranFondo ride during the weekend. I was able to record the event from start to finish and it was set and forget easy. I got over 5 hours of footage without swapping batteries.

    When I was in Japan I never had bike equipment, like a speedometer or other things, but back in my home country Romania - you would not leave anything on your bike.
    My question would be, is it safe to lock your bike outside for shorter periods of time without fearing your equipment being stolen? I would guess it would be safe from my experiences in Japan but you've been there for longer (I spend 1 year)

    It appears that the natural sound from the GP10 was not terrible. I was watching Thuong-chan hips rocking around 12 minutes. My first question is the saddle height wrong? And is she spinning or mashing.

    I can’t say I share Thuong’s nostalgic feeling for childhood air pollution. Even now people burn wood a lot (mostly for vanity), they use petrol lawn mowers on small lawns where you can easily use corded or battery ones. They burn garden waste on bonfires rather than composting it, set off fireworks all year round. And that’s before you get to the traffic fumes. It feels like things are getting worse, not better despite all the climate and pollution problems we have now. And with asthma you feel trapped inside with the windows shut a lot of the time once summer is over.

    GP10 looks ok but prefer the Pocket 2's rendition, however, really dislike its built-in obsolescence with the non-replaceable battery. I suppose by the time the battery dies, though, the tech would probably have advanced to the point where one would want to upgrade anyway. But, wish that choice could be left up to the user with a replaceable battery instead of making a device without it. I mean, there's already enough e-waste in the world to deal with without the need to toss out a device that would still work except for needing a fresh battery. So, score the GP for the win on that front over the DJI (as long as they'd still be making batteries for it in the future, that is).

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer the removeable batteries as well. Bonus points to DJI though for having an easy mic adapter accessory. Gopro's is much larger and overheats when you use it. Wish action cameras included a mic plug.
