    It depends. On the scenic rides, the no-handlebar view is nice, but for in-town, I like to see the handlebars to keep oriented.

    @Two Wheel Cruise I've thought about bicycle deliveries too, but you would need a cargo bike to perform multiple deliveries. Also, for stamina purposes, getting a E-assist option would be helpful.

    for long distance touring i'd definitely go for a full size bike for comfort and gearing - storage options are limited on the folding ones, imo limited to basic commuting or shopping

    • @milosjoksimovicjogz5657
      @milosjoksimovicjogz5657 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree with you on this one, but in their case they just took a lil bit longer ride to meet with a friend.So that's why it's kind of convenient to have a folding bike in those kinds of situations. 😁

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For a real long distance tour, we'd definitely prefer a full size bike, but we're gonna be hopping between countries a few times over the next few months so it seems that folding bikes will be easiest with that.

    @Two Wheel Cruise, Other than changing the gear on the bike, if you upgrade the stock 406 wheels to 451, the gear ratio will be higher and more stability. The only down side will be the inner tubes on 451 wheelsets are harder to find in some places in the world and tyres tend to be a bit narrower

    About a year ago, I bought a GoPro. I am glad to see that a GoPro looks so good on a youtube video. Problem is that my computer is too slow to do any editing. So, my next expense will be a new computer. A new computer will have to take prioriety over a folding bike.

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the most part, this is what you get. There are a few protected lanes, but really bad design and really short. Most road cyclists ride really early in the mornings on weekends.

    @Two Wheel Cruise The gearing seems to be the folding bike's weakest point. However, wouldn't a gearing upgrade be expensive? Also, though I know you're not in to that, is there a "E-Bike" option to these bikes with a small hub motor, or are we talking about using a Swytch eBike Conversion Kit?

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The gearing upgrade could get expensive depending on how you go about it. I don't know much about ebike conversions, but I'm sure it's possible with a hub motor.

    Loving the handlebar view. Feels abit weird without the handlebar view as it's very smooth & looks like a car camera compared to the handlebar view (where you can see the minor left and right adjustments of the handlebar).

    What's with Japanese parking rules vs. practice? The most comical place is a convini next to a police box- and cars stopped with their flashers on in front of the police. I've only seen one enforcement action in Japan- a tow away where one car got towed out of a whole block of cars parked illegally. A kid started honking the horn of one car- and everyone came and moved their car while the one unfortunate one watched their car get ticketed and towed.
