In this comparison video, we are going to be taking a look at a re-released Space Wolves Bladeguard Veteran and comparing that action figure to the original Space Wolves Bladeguard Veteran. The purpose of this comparison is to see if the re-released version if a faithful replica of the OG or are we going to find differences?

FYI for those who want to differentiate between bladeguard versions easily is to look at the Aquila on the chest. 1.0 Aquila comes with a skull. 2.0 Aquila skull comes with a crown around it. 3.0 Aquila has just the top part of the skull crowned.
The new version has better proportions, I think this is a good time for those who were left without the original figure to have the new version 👌By the way, excellent video

Thanks for the comparison, Sprues. I recently got the Captain with Relic Shield and he had a noticeably narrow chest compared to 2.0 Intercessors, so I suspected he was re-using an older body type, most likely Bladeguard due to the attached heraldic shield. I knew the new Bladeguards were taller, but I didn't know they had changed the chest piece; I assumed they only changed the legs. To my surprise, the Captain actually uses the chest from the newer Bladeguard. He even has the silver vents near the top of his back, which makes sense for the Bladeguards since their backpacks have similar looking vents, but doesn't really make sense for the Captain. He's still a great looking figure, but I wish he was a bit beefier, considering all the adornments he has. That chest piece looks great on the new Bladeguards, who are comparatively less adorned, but makes the Captain look a bit skinny.

The new pauldrons seem to use the same mechanism as the Primarchs and new Terminators…the old one was just a stationary peg joint. You didn’t go over this though
The newly re-released Paragons of Baal figures are also a bit taller then the originals. By the way, can you please make a video about the McFarlane Blood Angels Reiver Sergeant?

honestly i feel like all rereleases should have some minor changes. it gives a better a reason to buy a new figure and makes them feel like sepereate characters it appears the original haas no tabbard on the side and back.

I hope they re-relise emperor's champion sonn because the oroginsl is so much shorter then his new brethren it's embarrasing
