    Knowledge > Gear. No kidding! I wish more people at our church understood this concept. Great video!

    Our church just purchaed a cold storage building, which we just pretty much removed all pipes and vents.. So pretty much hollowed out, but it is well insolated, but have no clue on how to set up a sound structure yet alone use a mixer correctly
    Cam you somehow Help us out? We are a Spanish only Church thus far, so we are extremely LOUD!!

    Hey, Adam. What program was used for this church for all the manuals for the equipment, tutorials, and knowledge base for the volunteers?

    Great video!😊👍
    Was wondering what your take on the Qsc speakers they are using for foh? We are considering buying some k10.2's to go with our k212c subs. Just wondering too how you work out the angle the speakers should be at using open source?

      I think they are sufficient, but if you're in a place where you are ready to replace speakers I would stay open to other brands and models based on a room analysis. I recommend Michael Curtis (michael@producedbymkc.com)

    Do you guys only work with LightKey? Seems it's only available on Mac.

    • @dustyfanblade5937
      @dustyfanblade5937 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be because in the worship tech field, it’s vastly mac dominated. As someone who uses windows at home for all my needs, I appreciate the macs I use at work, they are snappy, reliable, and apple has a very clear End of life plan for their products. So it’s easy to know when to recycle or reuse your devices. iMacs are the easiest introduction to switching to max at your church. But I am more a fan of the minis especially with the m1 chips in them. And a good touchscreen monitor! ProPresenter runs best on macOS, as well as many other apps used for church production!

    What hardware controller do you recommend for LightKey?

    • @Churchfront
      @Churchfront  ปีที่แล้ว

      Stream Deck all the way! If you need fader control, something with motorized faders.

    • @dustyfanblade5937
      @dustyfanblade5937 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Churchfront does the stream decks have native software for lightkey? Or do you just run companion?

    Why do people buy expensive gear when they have no idea how to use it correctly. Also who in the church advises what to buy and on what grounds? It seems that there is a copycat mentality that if megachurch A uses it we must also buy the same equipment. My advice is to seek help and advice from professionals who are prepared to not only install equipment but are committed to customer tech support (It's cheaper in the long run not to acquire stuff you don't need)

    • @Churchfront

      Glad you agree! That's exactly why Dustin reached out to us. He wanted to make sure the team at his church was comfortable with the equipment and that he has us in his corner for continued support.

      Because they can afford to. They will learn to. Practise makes perfect.
