Love Tokyu Hands! I replaced my old, worn out luggage over two vacations to Shinjuku. Brand names and decent prices (also duty free!). On the same floor, for example, they carry many other travel products, bicycles, wallets, etc...and even Christmas decorations during the holiday season. All this, plus a half dozen other floors!
Stationery and art supplies! Will definitely drop by Tokyo Hands when I visit Japan next spring 😍 I'm still waiting for your Halal food recommendations video 😊
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FEATURING STATIONERY AND ARTS & CRAFTS!!! IT MADE ME INCREDIBLY HAPPY. I would love for more stationery-related content in the feature. And I'm so happy that you're a planner lover too. I feel like I can trust your taste on stationery more because you actually use and enjoy using these products. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND MORE POWER.
I just hate myself for buying too many planners lol I already have a bullet journal and couldn't resist buying another planner.. You can never have too much stationery, right? That's how I justify buying endless amount of pens/notebooks/stickers/etc.
I've been watching your videos even before I moved to Japan and now that I live in Tokyo, your videos are super super useful!! Thank you for making these videos and I can't wait to see more!
Wow! Really helpful! I literally binge-watch your videos. Your channel is a gold mine so I subscribed! This is perfect for my upcoming trip to Japan! Thanks a bunch💖🌸
I’m actually a fan of Tokyo Hand. It’s a must on my list everytime I visit Japan. I actually like to check out the bags in Tokyo Hand and find the selection in each location different from another. One time, I found a brand that offer bags mainly in heavy duty canvas bags which is the material that I really like. From then on, a bag section is another one I make sure I check it out. 😊 I haven’t tried the soap section. I’ll make sure I check it out during my next trip. 😊 Thank you very much!
Why do I watch these videos? .. they just tease me with things I will never be able to get unless I plan a year in advance to go 😭😭 Lol jk, I LOVE your videos!! Makes me so excited to visit Japan again and do it "right" this time!!
Thanks for the tips. Can you also recommend classes in Japan. Like paper making or sushi making or mochi making or even anime drawing or Japanese calligraphy etc.
Oh my... i love the planner section. I am so into planners, so wow , i must have one, but which one? Thank you keeping showing us great goodies and "must try" items. Cool....thanks.
Japan seems to be the only country in Asia that doesn't cater for the foreign market in relation to online purchasing and availability. I hope this changes in the future because it's cheaper to buy online if a majority of stores shipped outside of Japan. Shipping services are expensive and in many cases their websites are only in japanese. Korea seems to have hit the global market so why not japan?!
I agree. Not sure how to best put it, but Japan is really "conservative" in many ways and tend to stay in its bubble now. I also feel like people in Japan seem to shop in stores a lot more still - it may be my limited Japanese skills, but online shopping doesn't feel that much more convenient or easier, and not everything has an online shop.
When I went to Japan, I noticed Japanese people ar a lot enthusiastic about buying in real store, and there are a lot of original and creative productts and the consumer buy a lot (especially when it comes to anime goodies, you need to see animate). I think this kind of store don't have a relevant potential market overseas that's why Japanese companies prefer to stay in Japan. Even if these products seems amazing (in tokyu hands, Loft...) I don't think that it will work outside, Japan has a specific consumer behaviour/consumer interests which is not similar to foreign consumers so going overseas doen't seem that much attractive for japanese companies.
omg how relevant. I was totally looking for those tiny milk jugs for coffee! I was even gonna go all the way to kappabashi to find one but now that i know its at Tokyo hands! thanks!! great video
Hello some suggestion for your future video : the best depato, what to buy on a depato, best place to buy new accessoiries like handbag (only japanese brand), top 10 stuff to buy in bic camera, best place to buy japanese handmade craft, 10 best things to buy in nitori. Hope this will help you😃
Hi YuYu!! I am visiting tokyo for 1 week.. unfortunately today is my last day :( i went to tokyu hands and a lot of the items were expensive so i decided not to get anything. However, daiso was the jackpot! I bought out the whole store! Thank you for your videos 😁😁😁😁
Yeah Tokyu Hands has a lot of higher end stuff with higher price tags, that's why usually I hang out around the stationery area which isn't too bad. I hope you stocked up at Daiso! But everytime I think I shopped enough, I always end up feeling like I bought nothing after I get home lol 😂
Hi tokiyuyu i really enjoy watching your vídeos. Love the pot area, the stationary and journaling i enjoy scrapbooking and i would like to begin doing some journaling. I would like to ask you if in Japan they sell plus size close and if the price is affordable. keep on shareing more videos. Until the next time bye bye. Have a good night sleep and sweet dreams
I love your videos! I'm going to Japan in December and all these informations will be very useful. That was exactly the type of products that I would like to buy in Japan!!
Yahoo jp is really inconvenient, they didn't accept the credit card which were issued in outside of Japan,no matter your international credit card is VISA,master,JCB whatever, however I just shopped in Rakuten due to Rakuten accepted my credit card I probably would try Tokyo hands someday, thanks for your recommendation
Hello Tokiyuyu, please make a video in the many impressive fountain pen emporiums in Tokio, like Maruzen bookstore, the superstore Itoya or Kingdom Note. Thanks in advance.
i really wanna visit tokyo or any part of japan for the food and culture, also because everything in japan seems to have good quality in everything in my personal opinion. the only thing that's stopping me is how i don't have a good memory, especially when learning languages. 🥲
Every trip to Tokyo I definately drop into Tokyu Hands. I heard Ikebukuro TH is gone...sadness. Where is the biggest in Tokyo? Thank you for your selection~
Is scrap booking popular in Japan? All those stickers, pens and other things from the stationary department would be great to scrap book with. I haven't watched all your videos yet but I would love to see ones on your stuffed animals. They are so cute.
Yes I think it's very popular. And personalizing planners is extremely popular too among Japanese women. There are even books on how to draw cute and simple images for planners. Also I can see that all of my Japanese students (especially girls) are really into stationery from a young age haha
i went to there website but i couldn't figgure out how to buy stuff or even look at stuff from the store i don't know if the website is different across seas. could anyone how may live away from japan provide with any tips for operating the website please.
Love your retail videos Yu, great recommendations as usual 😊 Going to Japan for the first time in about 2 months - super hyped! As a video suggestion could you please do a tour of a KIDDYLAND store or of a character/themed cafe? Thanks!
I did a couple of character/themed cafe videos (one for Rilakkuma and one for Dragon Ball), the problem with that is that those are often limited time ones, rarely are they open permanently. It's usually a collaboration between a character and a cafe. Check out Tower Records cafe, they do collab with different characters all the time. I'll put Kiddyland on my to-film list!
Kindly make a video about branded sale things like LV, Hermes since I heard that there is a seasonal sale for those branded items with a very cheap price
TokiYuYu, agree. And it really smooth too! I really love all your videos. It makes me can't wait for my trip to Japan next year. I collected so many information by watching your videos. You're such a big help to me. Thank you so much 😘
Hi😊 Thank you for featuring this; I will definitely drop by when I visit Tokyo this November. Favor? Can you guide me on where to buy 2nd hand Designer bags which are still in good shape and good quality? Thank you and more success to your vloggings!✌🏻️

Thanks so much for the video. It's very helpful! I've just moved to Tokyo and will be here for a year. I don't speak much Japanese and do struggle quite a bit when it comes to buying groceries in the Supermarket. Can you please suggest a good supermarket. I live in Ikebukuro. And if you could recommend some food items, sauces, laundry and dish washing detergent that would be fantastic! :)
The face mask recommendations hit different in 2020 😞I wore a mask before when I was in Japan during flu season, and obviously now during Covid, but it's surprising foreign the idea was to other Americans
