I request you to do wrestlemania 21. Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio , The first money in the bank , The hulk hogan and Stone cold segments, Randy Orton vs The undertaker , Batista and John cena's coronation and off course Kurt Angle vs Shawn Micheals.
Retro Ups & Downs Idea: Judgement Day 2000 The Rock vs. Triple H in a 60 minute Ironman match for the WWF Championship & The debut of the American Badass Undertaker
Hey Simon, since WWE is doing a month long tribute for the Rock's 25th anniversary with the company... for the next retro ups and downs, can you do survivor series 1996 since that's when he made his WWF debut, want to hear your opinion on that, Stone Cold's and Bret Hart's underrated match against each other, Sycho Sid beating HBK for the championship and taker versus mankind's shark change match where taker came down from the raptures like a bat .. thanks man , keep up the great content 👍 😎
Simon, please take a look at some OLD school WWF. I would love to see a review of WrestleMania V which was the first PPV I'd ever seen and has a couple great matches and segments.
I would love to see Wrestlemania 15 on retro ups and downs please. Yes, viewed today its a bang average show but as I started watching WWF in early 1999 it was the absolute peak of my investment. Failing this, how about whatever PPV makes you feel like the above does me Simon? Thanks for all the content as ever
Royal Rumble 2006. My first PPV ever and seeing Rey Mysterio win the rumble made him an all time favorite for me. We also get to see Edge almost get his push killed by John Cena
3:17 I was ten so ...memory not the best ..but wasn't the whole I.R.S. gimmick brought around the fact Ted Dibiase, who swore everybody's got a price, was able to do what he wanted due to him having a partnership with I.R.S. He even at one point became the Billion dollar man but that didnt last very long lol
I was excited that it was in Philly because it was local. So me, being 9 years old, was totally into it. Until it happened. I was 9 and thought the whole thing was uninteresting, boring. So it's interesting that all these years later, having not followed wrestling that much since I was 13, that everyone says THIS event was one of the worst ever.
My friend and I went to a lot of trouble finding all the "Big 5" PPVs on VHS and renting them back in the late 90's. This was probably the most difficult to find(you'd think no one was interested in it) but we eventually tracked it down at a family-owned rental store way out in the Minneapolis suburbs. We weren't very critical of what we watched and I think all of the matches from this were quickly just forgotten. Events from the New Generation and before tended to have a lot of filler but this KotR was nothing but.
When this first came out on VHS when I was 8 years old. I enjoyed it. And I guess through the nostalgia goggles alone, I still love all the New Generation wrestling. Lol. I realize how terrible most of it was. But still. Just love it.
All In, with where AEW is now. I think it’s a good thing. Because everyone is in a different place. Both character and personal. I think it would be a good Retro Ups and Downs
Survivor Series 1992. Randy Savage and Mr Perfect vs Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. A fantastic main event. Let's do a retro ups and downs from the early 90's that is actually good
As stupid as the WWF was in 1995, at least they didnt give Mabel a world title run. Also the last two ppv main events of the year more than made up for this: Bret vs Diesel at Survivor series and Bret vs Bulldog at In your house: Season's beatings
That was later in the year after a 6 man tag match between HBK, Diesel and Undertaker against Owen, Bulldog and Yokozuna on Raw when Mabel joined the post match beat down and kickstarted the Undertaker/Mabel feud.
They had the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels in the tournament and the finals is Savio Vega vs Mabel, today's quality may be down but at least it hasn't gone back to these levels
Anyone else think it’s very UK of Simon to not understand why American audiences don’t like the IRS or the gimmick. Love the content Simon another banger
Another good Retro U&D vid Simon. After the KOTR '95 debacle, you deserve to review something better. :) Hence why I continue to suggest TNA Turning Point 2007; THAT Samoa Joe shoot promo (seriously, it is that good - deserves a GOLDEN UP!) Gail Kim defending her Women's Championship vs Awesome Kong. Jay Lethal & Motor City Machine Guns vs Johnny Devine & Team 3D in a Tables match. Kaz & Booker T vs Christian Cage & Robert Roode. Eric Young (very underrated IMHO) in not one, but TWO matches because Scott Hall no-showed (see Samoa Joe shoot promo). Also featuring Scott Steiner, Petey Williams, Christopher Daniels, Hernandez, and more...
In hindsight its bad. But as a kid, the kiss my foot match fully converted me into a fan of the hitman, and that has stuck with me. Bret is my alltime favorite wrestler so this alone made it a golden up
I got a solid suggestion for a retro ups and downs that will make anyone's stomach turn because Im watching it right now... Judgement Day 2004 where JBL and Eddie Guerro basically try to kill each other and JBL almost did just that.
Great video Simon. How about an ups and downs for this Tuesday in Texas for Simon? Repo man is there (and wins) let's give Goldberg's boy something fun to talk about
Wrestlemania X...(Macho Man vs. Crush, Bret vs. Owen, HBK vs. Razor Ramon ladder match IC Titles, Luger vs. Yoko / Yoko vs. Bret. Doink/Dink vs. Bam Bam/Luna And MORE!)
Ups and downs idea: defiant wrestling no regrets 2018. Simon Miller makes his pro wrestling debut
Heck yeah!
Hell yea ill co sigh that brotha
Simon Miller receives a PLATINUM UP for his continuing contributions to the World of Pro Wrestling.
Thank goodness for the black box in those days. Watched it for free
Simon, you get a golden up, the content rate is impressive.
Simon's a trooper. I don't know when he finds time to sleep!
RETRO UPS AND DOWNS SUGGESTION: WRESTLE KINGDOM 9
Thank you Simon for doing this, brought back loads of memories when I was 13. GOLDEN UP for ya mate!
Retro Ups & Downs Idea: Judgement Day 2000
The Rock vs. Triple H in a 60 minute Ironman match for the WWF Championship & The debut of the American Badass Undertaker
The kiss my foot match was always kind of special to me due to the fact it brought us Isaac Yankem, DDS and that gave us Kane.
Bound for Glory 2005. The night of Rhino, the Monster Ball Match, Ultimate X Match, 30 min Iron Man between AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.
I enjoy savage Simon, the high energy is great. He tears this one down.
Wwe the Bash 2009, Orton vs Triple H in a 3 stages of hell match, Jericho vs Mysterio and the first encounter between The Miz and John Cena
Simon, please take a look at some OLD school WWF.
I would love to see a review of WrestleMania V which was the first PPV I'd ever seen and has a couple great matches and segments.
Since I just watched it, no mercy 2002: lesnar vs taker hell in a cell, and maybe best tag team match ever angle/Benoit vs edge/Rey mysterio
I'm a really big ECW nerd and I think if you notice the guys in the front row the famous straw hat guy from ECW is there
I would love to see Wrestlemania 15 on retro ups and downs please. Yes, viewed today its a bang average show but as I started watching WWF in early 1999 it was the absolute peak of my investment. Failing this, how about whatever PPV makes you feel like the above does me Simon? Thanks for all the content as ever
That's one of the last , if not the last, Wrestlemania that I watched.... I'd be interested as well
Royal Rumble 2006. My first PPV ever and seeing Rey Mysterio win the rumble made him an all time favorite for me. We also get to see Edge almost get his push killed by John Cena
The first one I remember too.
Gold dust is really underrated
One of the most underrated ever, I would suggest.
Ups and Downs for the Billy and Chuck wedding episode of Smackdown.
Simon, we need Retro Ups and Downs for “In Your House: Mind Games.” That was my first ever pay per view that I attended as a child!
Suggestion: Wrestlemania 12 where they had the iron man match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels
Suggestion: that TNA pay per view with the worst women’s match of all time.
Fully Loaded 99. The first wwf ppv I remember watching and to me is a great example of the attitude era
Underrated PPV and one of my faves. Wish Vince had stayed gone though
Retro up and down the Raw episode where Kane Burned Jim Ross alive during their interview and Stone Cold was like no Kane don’t do it
I was excited that it was in Philly because it was local. So me, being 9 years old, was totally into it. Until it happened. I was 9 and thought the whole thing was uninteresting, boring. So it's interesting that all these years later, having not followed wrestling that much since I was 13, that everyone says THIS event was one of the worst ever.

Great job Simon! I think you should watch a fun show now. How about a fun show retro ups and downs! I suggest Lucha Underground: Ultima Lucha Tres!!
Suggestion : Do an Ups and Downs for the year 1995 as a whole. Go on. You know you want to.
As a kid, this kiss my foot match was incredible. Absolutely hilarious and very serious.
Simon gave the down to Shawn vs. Kama but the counter didn't go to 2
SummerSlam 1992! Bret Hart vs British Bulldog The Main Event
Lol I'm surprised you didn't talk about Bret making Lawler kiss his own foot
My 1st event was Summerslam 91 would love a retro on that
All In, with where AEW is now. I think it’s a good thing. Because everyone is in a different place. Both character and personal. I think it would be a good Retro Ups and Downs
How about an ups and downs for Eddie Guerrero last PPV Before his death Which was No Mercy 2005 Eddie Vs Batista for World heavyweight championship
Survivor Series 1992. Randy Savage and Mr Perfect vs Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. A fantastic main event. Let's do a retro ups and downs from the early 90's that is actually good
"AEW" All In please :) The most important event since Wrestlemanina? At least the most important one in modern wrestling history.
I think Simon did Ups and Downs for this when it happened.
@@leeshwan903 he did, but he did it live (and either over excited or a bit tipsy).
Do Unforgiven 2008. 3 championship scramble matches and the unsactioned match between Jericho and Michaels.
Do the smackdown where stone cold and booker t fight in the supermarket or do the raw where Kane lost his mask.
Always look forward to these. Would really love a Halloween Havoc 97 review. It's got everything from Mysterio vs Guerrero to Age in the Cage
As stupid as the WWF was in 1995, at least they didnt give Mabel a world title run. Also the last two ppv main events of the year more than made up for this: Bret vs Diesel at Survivor series and Bret vs Bulldog at In your house: Season's beatings
Fun fact, Irwin R. Shiester (I.R.S) is Bray Wyatts Dad.
Simon, wasn't that the match where Mabel shattered Taker's eye Socket?
That was later in the year after a 6 man tag match between HBK, Diesel and Undertaker against Owen, Bulldog and Yokozuna on Raw when Mabel joined the post match beat down and kickstarted the Undertaker/Mabel feud.
I remember seeing this live. Now I'm upset at Simon for making me remember it.
Hearing colosseum home video makes me feel old 😄
They had the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels in the tournament and the finals is Savio Vega vs Mabel, today's quality may be down but at least it hasn't gone back to these levels
Survivor Series 96 for the Anniversary of The Rocks debut and MSG Booing Shawn Michaels out of the building 👍
Haha, I was there. I was 13 and so excited because it was my first live PPV, but by the end I was just confused.
Would love to see you review ECW Living Dangerously 1999, especially that awesome Rvd/Jerry Lynn match!
Night of Champions 2009, hardy vs punk for world heavyweight title
Anyone else think it’s very UK of Simon to not understand why American audiences don’t like the IRS or the gimmick. Love the content Simon another banger
TH-cam needs to make a new "I like this" button and call it the "Golden Up." Every time someone clicks it TH-cam plants a tree.
Another good Retro U&D vid Simon. After the KOTR '95 debacle, you deserve to review something better. :)
Hence why I continue to suggest TNA Turning Point 2007;
THAT Samoa Joe shoot promo (seriously, it is that good - deserves a GOLDEN UP!)
Gail Kim defending her Women's Championship vs Awesome Kong.
Mabel, Baron Corbin, Wade Barrett, and Billy Gunn were the worst KOTR winners of all time.
and the current one.
Royal rumble 2002 where triple h won the rumble and undertaker destroyed maven.
How about In Your house 5?? Hunter hearst helmsley v Henry o godwin in a hogpen match. You know how much we love ya Simon lol
In hindsight its bad. But as a kid, the kiss my foot match fully converted me into a fan of the hitman, and that has stuck with me. Bret is my alltime favorite wrestler so this alone made it a golden up
Survivor Series 1988! The tag team 5-5 match is insane! Also Mega Powers! Ultimate Warrior! Jake the Snake vs Andre!
Massive respect for Simon Miller for the commitment to his job 🔥
This Tuesday in Texas should be a good one, it featured Repo Man!
Hey Simon, you should just do a Ups & Downs Mini Series dedicated to the year 1995, plenty of wonderful crappiness for you to work with XD
He said NO GARBAGE DO YOU JUST HATE THE MAN ?!!!! 😂
Survivor Series 2005 since its already november.
Simon your awesome u always do a great job your a entertaining guy next week should be wrestlemania 27
Lol how could you completely ignore bret making Jerry kiss his own nasty foot after hahaha
1995 was the worst year in wrestling ever.
2:00 If anything it's backwards because exactly what we declared independence FROM was kings, and all the trappings of the monarchy.
Mabel getting hit by the cup gets a Golden Up from me.
Repo man is there (and wins) let's give Goldberg's boy something fun to talk about
I remember being devastated when Savio Vega lost - he deserved to be KotR haha
"Where's Batista?"
I laughed way too hard and I don't even know why that was funny. In 1995.
Retro ups & downs for Buried Alive or Beware of Dog
I remember watching that ppv, kept wondering what the hell was wrong with Vince's head ? I still have that VHS.
Is that a New Day sign behind Yokozuna?! Can you feel the power? It’s a New Day yes it is!
Do BattleBowl the....LETHAL Lottery!!!! The rise of DDP!
Wait… you mean there was a time Yoko Zuna was underweight?
No worries about the 'UP' on the kiss my foot match. It was really entertaining compared to the bulk of this ppv.
Breakdown 1998 please
There WAS a second Kiss My Foot match, between Lawler and Michael Cole a few years ago....
Let’s go i thought retro ups and downs are on sunday’s
16:47 I died 😂😂😂😂
Road dog vs hardcore holly I check if they had a match later
Godfather vs hbk
The kiss my foot match was fun back then.
Wrestlemania X...(Macho Man vs. Crush, Bret vs. Owen, HBK vs. Razor Ramon ladder match IC Titles, Luger vs. Yoko / Yoko vs. Bret. Doink/Dink vs. Bam Bam/Luna And MORE!)
Survivor series 1996, the rocks debut
This Tuesday in Texas do that one too
Being from Philly, I clearly remember this PPV, that crowd was pissed, I never heard so many boos when Mabel won
I'd love to see you review Wrestlemania 24 if you have not done already please 😁
I hated this ppv as a kid Simon lol🤣🤣🤦🤷 next retro UPS and downs ECW BARELY LEGAL 96 OR 97
The 40 man RR of 2011? For me was the first PPV after i did stop watching wrestling in 2007
I was one of those 150k people who got this on PPV. Might be the worst money I ever spent up to that point
I would like you to do retro up and down for SummerSlam 1995 because I was there but also MO MO MO MO MO
I can remember being pretty much out of wrestling around that time. If I did watch it probably was WCW.
Do WWF Rock Bottom 1998 with the Buried Alive match
Wrestlemania 28, 21, 2000, 3, Survivor Series 2016, No Way Out 2009, Backlash 2000
The real heroes of that night were the men carrying Mabel on their shoulders at the end
Where is that hoodie sold?
SUGGESTION:
WRESTLING IN NORTH KOREA
Memory lane Monday with Simon Miller. That would be the title of this
Let's do more PPVS outside of WWE like TNA, NJWP, or even the 1st episode of Lucha underground
