So I hear you can heat them to melt together just put parchment paper on both sides and iron them, or use a hot soldering gun/iron over your pattern and then trim the extra material and flip inside out.

Did you us a particular type of nylon? I used ripstop nylon from spotlight and it didn't inflate!
Oh no! I have no idea what type of nylon sorry- I think it was just the cheapest

You can do this instead of sewing. I haven't tried yet myself but I've watched some videos of people doing it
