Hey today im bringing you the SUPER BOWL XLIII. please check out my other videos click here / @mistermilker and please if you enjoyed this video please leave a like, comment, subscribe and share.
Bro Lamarr Woodley is an absolute stud. He saved the game. There’s documentary footage somewhere explaining what happened on that play. As Kurt lets it go, Fitz is apparently breaking WIDE OPEN untouched down the field. That’s why Warner is cocking back so far prior to releasing the throw. Fitzgerald is wide open. If Woodley is half a second later, Cards hoist the trophy. Wild
I am a big Steelers fan but John madden got me to love football as a kid . Thanks John madden for being you and the best color commentator for football!
Holmes makes one of the greatest catches in super bowl history and madden points out how he should have made the catch the play before. Classic madden.
I am a die hard Steeler fan and I bleed black and gold but I have nothing but respect and love for this Cardinals team with Kurt Warner. Both teams played their hearts out in this game and it shows. This was a Super Bowl for the ages....
Growing up a Cardinals fan in the 90s, it was a dream come true to see them in the Super Bowl and the legendary John Madden commentating. Even better that it was his final game. RIP John.
wingmanalive Nope. Super Bowl 42 Giants vs Patriots and Eli Manning breaking 3 tackles and throwing the famous "helmet catch" to David Tyree. I agree that this might be atleast 2nd or 3rd.
Well I'm a steeler fan for life and those final 3 minutes were just unbelievable to me and my son. Props to the Giants on that catch as well and I can and will keep this ending as the most memorable in my life up to this point. Losing the lead like they did with Fitzgerald running away with the go ahead touchdown was heartbreaking. Then to watch Big Ben and Santonio Holmes connect the way they did with such a toe tap was..............well, like I said, unbelievable. Props to ALL fans and their own "unbelievable" moments in sports, it's why we watch!
Google it? Why would I "Google" it? I saw it live and MANY times on reply on HD screens. Every analyst and commentator agrees he had both toes tapped with possession. There was no controversy or debate about it and it was highly reviewed and confirmed. Are you a butt hurt Cardinal fan?
Kurt Warner is one of best quarterbacks of all times in the NFL franchise. There is nothing to complain about this game series. The Cardinals fought so hard to make it to the top. Not bad!!!
As a Steelers fan, it is so refreshing to see a Steelers team that has some heart, resolve, and a great defense, because this year's team to date is lacking.
Wow. Steelers Fan for 58 years now. We had just retired to Az in 2008. Watched this on our patio. I yelled so loud when Holmes caught that TD pass that my neighbors came outside & asked if we needed them to call 911. Watching this 4th quarter never gets old. Steelers Nation thanks Fitzgerald for running down to the goal line in the out of bounds lane during Harrison’s interception return so Fitzgerald could slide his legs under the ball to seal the deal for Harrison’s interception so the ball didn’t hit the ground. Harrison with the record for the longest interception return in Super Bowl History. Thanks Larry.
I miss listening to John Madden during Super Bowls. He's the only NFL commentator in history to broadcast Super Bowls for all four major networks. ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC.
I went to the game and rewatching the 4th quarter just gives me anxiety, even though I know the outcome. I felt bad for the cardinal fans they were so nice at the game. Probably the most humble fans I have ever seen.
Larry Fitzgerald played 4 games during the 2008 playoffs including this Super Bowl. 30 receptions for 546 yards averaging 18.2 yards per catch and had an amazing 7 TD. In his career, Fitzgerald has played 9 playoff games and averaged over 100 yards receiving with 57 receptions for 942 yards, 16.5 average, and a whopping 10 TD.
I cant tell you how happy it makes me that santonio holmes not only made the game winning catch but he is also from ohio state. Im from ohio and a steelers fan and i gotta say this is literally perfection to me so many years later and when it happened. I love my buckeyes and i love my steelers. Perfection
Larry Fitzgerald is the one who ran down the Outabounds lane to the goal line and slid under Harrison and sealed the deal for the touchdown because the ball didn’t hit the ground it hit Larry’s legs. The Steelers Nation should’ve sent Larry Fitzgerald a thank you note. Harrison with the record for the longest interception return in a Super Bowl in the history of the NFL. Thanks again, Larry. You’re a legend. You will forever be known as the Arizona receiver who helped the Steelers become the first NFL team to win 6 Super Bowls.
I know Kurt Warner was (1-2) in his 3 Super Bowls, but his passing stats were really good. 1999 season vs Tenn. 24-45 414 yards 2 TD 0 INT, 2001 season vs. New Eng. 28-44 365 yards 1 TD 2 INT, 2008 season vs Pitt. 31-43 377 yards 3 TD 1 INT. TOTAL of 3 games: 83-132 1156 yards 6 TD 3 INT. His 3 game average was 28-44 385 yards and a 96.7 QB Rating.
Arizona "should have won" in the sense that the two biggest plays for Pittsburgh in this game, from the perspective of a coach, should have cost the Steelers the game. Right before halftime, the Steelers for some reason dropped their best pass rusher (James Harrison) into coverage. From an x's and o's perspective, this makes no sense. But Harrison intercepted a pass and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown before halftime. And on the game-winning play, Roethlisberger threw the ball into triple coverage which is a no-no. This is unbelievable to me that two 'seemingly' horrible decisions won the game for Pittsburgh.
Joey Blowey Steelers for "some reason" dropped James Harrison back? Maybe because there is strategy involved and the saw the play coming? And Throwing the ball to triple coverage? Ben drew a play and put the ball where it needed to go, its not like he scrambled around in the pocket for 20 seconds and threw a lucky pass. Pittsburgh won fair and square. Saying they "should have won" is disrespectful.
harrison came out and said it was his decision to drop into coverage and that he was supposed to pass rush the qb but for some reason he went into coverage.
31:58 this along with Brady’s pick six in the Super Bowl are I think two of the saddest moments to remember because in both cases it looked like the underdog who never won was gonna do it, only to lose at the last minute. 😢
Zechariah McGhghy no he actually got traded to the jets for a 5th round pick in 2009 after some issues in the locker room and then the cut him after 2013 and he went to the bears and got cut a month into the season 2 years ago in 2014....
Its amazing that Tomlins stupid clock management gives the Cardinals 30 seconds with two TO's a chance to win the game after this incredible play. But now looking at Tomlin and the reality that he simply inherited a ring-ready team from Cowher it kind of all makes sense
Hard to believe this game was played 11 years ago. This is what football used to look like because questions about fans returning in the same attendance after COVID19 has done its damage remains in doubt. The good thing is that Larry had two touchdowns (Future HOF).
Not the easiest catch, but Ben thew a perfect high ball to Santonio on the play before "The Catch 2.0" and he let it fly right through his fingers. Had to make it even MORE dramatic lol
Yup, that is the perfect angle. Right foot was up when he caught it, but came back down just enough to tap the ground. If you look even closer, you can see his right cleat "flick" or stutter from being stuck in the turf. Amazing play
SO HAPPY Madden & Michaels aren't callin' games anymore. All Madden does is point out the obvious that a 10yr old watchin' football 🏈 for the 1st time could point out & then just ramble on about that point. Michaels, while not as bad as Madden, but sometimes I wonder if we're watchin' the same game. The personal foul called on Harrison late in the 4th wasn't "HUGE." It resulted in a net gain of maybe 18 inches for ARIZ since it was half the distance & the ball was downed at the 1yd line. He steady tried to create drama where there was none. Now Nantz & Romo, that's a good duo.
I'm a steelers fan and glad they won but if it was Fitzgerald whose touchdown was going to win the game for Arizona I really wasn't that upset when he scored it.
Reginald Billingsworth III Fitz is truly the best! He’s been so damn fun to watch over the years. He just does it the right way. I’ve watched every single Cardinals game, and think I’ve seen Fitz spike the ball maybe once or twice. Such a respectful player.
If you look at 45:50 after the pat when it's in slow motion . Don't concentrate on just his root toe look and his left shoe the green grass the his kicked up is with his left cleet . His right foot is stuck to the back of his left cleet. The dirt the kicks up is from his leg foot his right cleet was cling to the back of his left cleet like a magnet . That's the best angle if you keep looking at the spot in this clip of the 4th quarter it looks like his right cleet never taps the surface . That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it . I think his cleet never touched the fields surface and this is the best angle too notice it doesn't touch the grass turf the grass that kicks up like I said is from his left cleet. Keep watching it over and over and you'll notice his right cleet is stuck to his left cleet like a magnet. Idc either way but this is the first time I've ever thought this wasn't a catch till someone told me to look at this clip on TH-cam and from what I see his cleet never Touchs
As someone who knows absolutely nothing about football: can someone explain to me what made this game particularly spectacular in Super Bowl history? I heard the announcer say they're the first with 6 wins. Is that the big hype?
It was 20-7 at the start of the 4th lol, Steelers in control until one lead change, why I can't even put this as top 5 SB. 1990, 1997, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2022, 2023, SBs were all much closer tighter contests. And Playoff games like 09 Packers Cardinals were much more exciting.
The Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl was VERY similar to this game, the only difference was that Big Ben completed the game winning drive while Jimmy G did not.

That throw to Holmes for game is THE best throw in Super Bowl history hands down.
I would agree, but the one from Eli to burgess the year before to beat the undefeated pats was pretty good also.
Burress was so open ... not as good a throw ... the manningham throw was better but this still trumps that @@michealowns21
Eli to Mario Manningham
Brilliant throw, brilliant catch...
Plus the Harrison 100 yard pick 6 right before the half was the greatest play in NFL history imo. Such an amazing game
Both teams deserved to be there and that's why it was an amazing game.
+Joe Rich you're an idiot
+Joe Rich fucking idiot
+Joe Rich you're a stupid idiot
Ya'll a buncha dummies.
Giants and Titans fans would like to disagree.
Big Ben is an outstanding high pressure QB....Stats, records and accomplishments makes him 1st ballot but still underappreciated.
I’m here tonight to listen again to a legend call the game . Rest easy John 😔🥲
Thats literally why im here.💯
I am a big Steelers fan but John madden got me to love football as a kid . Thanks John madden for being you and the best color commentator for football!
Jon Scears Steelers are gonna pull it off this year!
Not sure but nervous
Jon Scears Steelers better not make the same mistake when lost to Miami!
Holmes makes one of the greatest catches in super bowl history and madden points out how he should have made the catch the play before. Classic madden.
@@andraethegiant1987 maybe next? Lol

wingmanalive nah i fucking hate the cardinals but if u look up his feet on google it never hit the ground
Kurt Warner is one of best quarterbacks of all times in the NFL franchise. There is nothing to complain about this game series. The Cardinals fought so hard to make it to the top. Not bad!!!
I dont know bro pick 6 in end zone in a superbowel to end the half. Thats as bad as it gets
As a Steelers fan, it is so refreshing to see a Steelers team that has some heart, resolve, and a great defense, because this year's team to date is lacking.
TommyC503 well they got a great season! Won 7 games in a row going 11-5 and an AFC North Championship! They need to keep momentum going!
Bro dont make me more mad cards is my fave team Fitzgerald didn't even get to win a Superbowl he needs one he has one more year
TommyC503 we got that team back now
Reginald Billingsworth III well the defense
Josh Marquardt offense will be in stride with Ben back
One of my favorite Super Bowls I’ve watched!
Larry winning that 50/50 ball is ridiculous. Dude is one of the 5 greatest WR’s ever
Man this was 8 years ago felt like it happened yesterday. Where does the time go
Parmpreet Singh Gill 10 years old in February

Greatest Game winning throw and catch in super bowl history with out argument.
this was by far the best super bowl ever
I miss listening to John Madden during Super Bowls. He's the only NFL commentator in history to broadcast Super Bowls for all four major networks. ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC.
th-cam.com/video/28VmUxTDU5Q/w-d-xo.html
Simply put: The greatest 4th quarter in NFL history.
73 yards on one drive is CRAZY in the SB !
what a great group of guys to grow up watching
I went to the game and rewatching the 4th quarter just gives me anxiety, even though I know the outcome. I felt bad for the cardinal fans they were so nice at the game. Probably the most humble fans I have ever seen.

Stats don’t put a Super Bowl Ring on your finger.
beautiful pass from Big Ben to Holmes to seal the deal!
Lamar Woodley NEVER gets enough credit for finishing off this game with an amazing closing move ...
Big Ben is legend. The final drive was 90 yards because of the 1st down holding penalty. Greatest final drive in Superbowl history!
I cant tell you how happy it makes me that santonio holmes not only made the game winning catch but he is also from ohio state. Im from ohio and a steelers fan and i gotta say this is literally perfection to me so many years later and when it happened. I love my buckeyes and i love my steelers. Perfection

Still don’t know how the Steelers blew that 20-7 lead where they had the cardinals beat! But nevertheless, the best super bowl I’ve ever seen!
They’re lucky Big Ben and Holmes stepped up at the last minute, defense blew it big time 😂
Can't say there has ever been a finish like this in the super bowl. Holmes was the man. Got 6

Steelers fan but if Arizona wins this game Fitzgerald would have been a super bowl legend
He already is
Larry Fitzgerald is the one who ran down the Outabounds lane to the goal line and slid under Harrison and sealed the deal for the touchdown because the ball didn’t hit the ground it hit Larry’s legs. No doubt in my mind, best Super Bowl ever. In basically every metric.
“You know, a lot of things in football is when ya do em. I mean you do it, and you had to do it, to win the game.” -John Madden
Wherever James Harrison is and whatever he's doing I'd be willing to be that he could be ready to play tomorrow.

black and gold all day

Still bring me to tears !!Love my Steelers 4 life
That fucking throw 🤯 over 3 people man holy god, top 2 throw of all time
Arizona should've won, but you can't take that away from Pittsburgh. Classic Game.
Should have won? What does that mean? But Arizona didn't so...
Arizona "should have won" in the sense that the two biggest plays for Pittsburgh in this game, from the perspective of a coach, should have cost the Steelers the game. harrison came out and said it was his decision to drop into coverage and that he was supposed to pass rush the qb but for some reason he went into coverage.
He threw the ball OVER triple coverage. He put it where none of the three of them could touch it. So, did he really throw it into coverage at all?
The game that made me love football
28:55, 36:05, 37:44, 39:54, 41:34 (miss but it would have been an incredible catch), and Finally 42:19 All clutch plays by Big Ben and Santonio Holmes
31:58 this along with Brady’s pick six in the Super Bowl are I think two of the saddest moments to remember because in both cases it looked like the underdog who never won was gonna do it, only to lose at the last minute. 😢
love John madden ! big steelers fan too
Superbowl 43 polamalu was # 43, 43rd president in office and last play to seal the deal was at 43 seconds
. . . three for each hand. Nice.
i still feel so sorry for the cards - they had to face the two greatest plays in superbowl history
Yeah, just a pity, for them, that Pitt had two better.
I remember I was going apeshit at 28:33. That flag was so late, I couldn't believe it.
I figured Kurt Warner stats in the 4th quarter alone at 13-17 219 yards 2 TD. He certainly atoned for the earlier interception.
th-cam.com/video/28VmUxTDU5Q/w-d-xo.html
Respect to both teams. Was rooting for Arizona but man, that catch by Santonio Holmes was amazing! What happened to that guy?
DonKrieg95 probably retired or a free agent
DonKrieg95 he got traded to the jets later and played with the Bears for one season than retired in 2015
Ssamell123 he went into free agences
Zechariah McGhghy

Love it when they show Warner's wife after the long Fitz TD
43:41 both feet down and possession.
Yup, that is the perfect angle. Right foot was up when he caught it, but came back down just enough to tap the ground. If you look even closer, you can see his right cleat "flick" or stutter from being stuck in the turf. Amazing play
Mike Tomlin so cool

Damn this is still hard to watch. I hope one day to watch my team win it. Go Cards!

Larry Fitzgerald's Go Ahead Touchdown! 31:43
And the Steelers still won!! Big Ben is a legend!!
cool
I honeslty feel sorry for fitzgerald. Dude made a big impact in the second half
Still wonder what would have happened had Warner got that final throw off.. We'll never know
I know people who were there and apparently when Warner was loading up, Larry Fitzgerald was wide open on the left sideline. Dammit.
@@Rockhound6165 even , would be incomplete in 99% of te times, 90% with Larry.

That safety was such a bogus call. They really tried
That Pitt defense was so good, Fuck.

I thought it was over when Fitsimmons took it to the house
Can only imagine if Warner got the hail mary attempt off to see what Fitz would have done at the end of the game.
