my hair started budding within like 3 weeks & some of my locs are fully formed already & i’m almost 3 months in. it depends on the hair type and how you take care of them. btw, you’re very pretty 😍
Welcome to the loc fam 🤎 they look great on you! I used the same locking gel but not the resistance formula. I use the regular one. You gave great advice. I def agree 😊
one way to really grow ur hair is wearing knotless braids for 3-4 months (like said in the video) i did that once when quarantine started cus i didnt wanna take out my hair and i was home everyday so i just kept it in. i kept it in for ab 3 months and my hair GREW!!! like a LOT! the front of my hair went from nose length to the bottom of my lips. i did it again later last year and now my hair is way past my face. i wish i knew this back in middle school 😭
Great ideal. I looked into getting locks for a long time.i looked at a lot of video. started ordering locks and when I got enough hair. I order my tools and did my own hair. And my hair turned out great. Best thing I ever did. Love my dreadlocks.
I have microlocs (for 9 months) that I did myself after being quoted 2k because of my length & density. I may end up combining them just not sure yet. Yours are absolutely beautiful!!
I had a pixie cut at that page but I only permed the sides for my prom other than that, I had it natural, so I would so perm rod sets and if I was up for it, I’d straighten it every now then. I still have my shaved sides(will be 6 yrs) , but I have locs now (will be 3 years) and last year a grew out my undercut so I’m getting Loc extensions for that part.
I just came across your channel and I’m feeling your energy ! This is my second set a Locs and right now emotionally I can’t do this the short stages. I will definitely look into getting them ! New subbie!
I actually went to the STL Location and have hade mine for about a month now too, I’ve been wondering about managing build up and dry scalp. Other than sea breeze what else could I use🤔
First of all give it up to the natural face beauty.... I love your vibe and yassssss to the forehead this whole video was bomb definitely thinking about having these done.... You went through alot with your hair journey also must love you gained a new subscriber
thank you i been needing to get locs before i go to my military station and i just moved to st.louis! thanks for putting me on i was about to shave this hair off lol!
tysm for leaving ur stylist’s details i live in stl too & i lowkey want locs for my sweet 16 next year..but idk if wanna start from scratch or just get extensions😭. im torn😩.
Great video! I’m on the fence with this one I want to but just don’t know. I’ve done everything even bald . At the barbershop every week , 360 waves and occasional designs . Did that for about 4 years. Since I’ve been growing my hair back I haven’t did anything but bleach and dye my natural hair (big mistake) and or wear wigs . My boyfriend has Loc’s seeing your video was super inspiring, because you’re super cute 🥰 like me 🥰. They fit you it’s a lot of time and energy, money to cut them out if you don’t like how they look on you.
That is true, which is why you need too think long and hard about doing so because spending all that too cut them like you said would be a dumb and inconsiderate move
I'm very tempted to get loc extensions. Do you know if they are more likely to cause alopecia and/or related hair loss than compared to other styles such as box braids, marley twists, cornrows, etc? Genuinely want to know and educate myself on loc extensions. Thanks in advance!
I actually am not sure exactly but if you think of them in terms of "braids" it is the same. The thinner your hair is more likely I wouldn't advise any type of style in which your hair has something onto it. It also depends on your lack of care for your hair. I hope that helps!
g the video started and you was like i know i look crazy umm sus crazy where you look good asf and yo normal ass forehead lol but great video very informative you look awesommeeee god bless
TH-cam need to remove all the other videos cause when I tell you I done watched 22 videos and none of them break it down like you have..wow thanks so much
You are free to call your locs what you like🙂. That said, dreads started in Jamaica where I am from. And they are called dreadlocks because the white colonialist feared the awakening of the people to their blackness and black pride via Rastafari. Dreadlocks to us is not a negative word. It symbolises black power. Just so you are aware. Peace.
there literally isn't anything you can't pull off , bodyyyyy every style !!

How did you combat the extensions from itching
@@carlettereid3167 I never dealt with any itching
