Hi there 👋 No, I use QuickTime Player to record my screen for the tutorials. Then our video editors edit the content in Premiere Pro, that's also where to create the zoom in/out effects.

Shadows hasn’t quite made it to the new photo editor yet. But it will be within two weeks! In the meantime, you can use the old photo editor to use Shadows. Click an image, then click Edit Photo, and a dialog box will pop up asking you to use the old photo editor.
Finally, a listing of what plans can access the Canva Create features. Thanks Ronny! BTW, I tried asking ChatGPT to act as an expert art historian and graphic designer, and come up with a prompt for an AI drawing tool that had criteria like subject, tone, style I wanted, then put that into Canva’s Text to Image. The results were meh. It seems to work best with very simple images.

Finally I saw your video and it's fantastic as usual, thank a lot Ronny. A question, talking about Editing Images. Right now, at least here using Canva in Italy, editing an image shows the chance to use the old editor and the new one which includes new features such as Magic Edit and Magic Erase. I suppose this is temporary and we'll have one editor only at the end, and that's good. But, right now, the new editor doesn't include feature such as "shadows", a feature that I love and use very much. Do you think everything is under control or the feature "shadows" will be erased from Canva??? Thank you again

You can work around it. If you use magic eraser and want to use magic edit. Download the image after you use magic eraser. Upload the image back in and then you can use magic edit.

Hey Luca, Yes, indeed, our editors use Premiere Pro and After Effects, with most our graphics and slides made in Canva 😉 It would be too long to explain how they work in a message, but we might create an entire course about how we create our content in the future. Is that something you'd be interested in?
Ronny, I did exactly what you did and got what I wanted BUT…it can only been seen in Canva, each time I download it the animation disappears. Any explanation? Thanks!
I used the animation feature on the mobile app and added a music on top. I downloaded it as mp4. Unfortunatelly the animation didn't save and stay static. I tried many times. It was showing the animation on canva but not on the downloaded mp4

I contacted CANVA support earlier, and the problem was resolved. It seems that when mouse cursor customization software is running, Shape Assist may not work properly. If you're using software like Microsoft's "PowerToysMouse" or "Cursor Highlighter" (which are convenient and have no inherent issues), and Shape Assist isn't working, try temporarily stopping these programs and see if it helps. I shared this information, hoping it might help someone.

After watching so many of your videos I’m convinced. If I watch it in Canva the movement still remains but doesn’t work if downloaded. Why do I download it? I have Canva Pro and the “Try magic design” field doesn’t appear in my system. How can I do that?
Why did they remove the shadows features in the new editor? I have to revert to the old editor in order to use them.
Shadows hasn’t quite made it to the new photo editor yet. But it will be within two weeks! In the meantime, you can use the old photo editor to use Shadows. Click an image, then click Edit Photo, and a dialog box will pop up asking you to use the old photo editor.

Finally, a listing of what plans can access the Canva Create features. Thanks Ronny! BTW, I tried asking ChatGPT to act as an expert art historian and graphic designer, and come up with a prompt for an AI drawing tool that had criteria like subject, tone, style I wanted, then put that into Canva’s Text to Image. The results were meh. It seems to work best with very simple images.
Keep working at your prompts. This is not a straight journey, you’ll need to go through some not so good results to understand what works best 🤔

You are probably referring to "Shadows" and how we could use them to create an outline.

A question, talking about Editing Images.
Right now, at least here using Canva in Italy, editing an image shows the chance to use the old editor and the new one which includes new features such as Magic Edit and Magic Erase.
I suppose this is temporary and we'll have one editor only at the end, and that's good.
But, right now, the new editor doesn't include feature such as "shadows", a feature that I love and use very much.
Do you think everything is under control or the feature "shadows" will be erased from Canva???

You can work around it. If you use magic eraser and want to use magic edit. Download the image after you use magic eraser. Upload the image back in and then you can use magic edit.

Yes, indeed, our editors use Premiere Pro and After Effects, with most our graphics and slides made in Canva 😉
It would be too long to explain how they work in a message, but we might create an entire course about how we create our content in the future.

What are you trying to download and in which format?
I used the animation feature on the mobile app and added a music on top. I downloaded it as mp4. Unfortunatelly the animation didn't save and stay static. I tried many times. It was showing the animation on canva but not on the downloaded mp4

Make sure you wait enough time, it takes a couple of seconds for the assist to kick in.
@@TeamRonDi I am truly puzzled. Even when I pause the mouse cursor for five seconds, Shape Assist does not work. Others have retweeted similar issues on Canva's official
I contacted CANVA support earlier, and the problem was resolved. It seems that when mouse cursor customization software is running, Shape Assist may not work properly. If you're using software like Microsoft's "PowerToysMouse" or "Cursor Highlighter" (which are convenient and have no inherent issues), and Shape Assist isn't working, try temporarily stopping these programs and see if it helps. I shared this information, hoping it might help someone.

@@TeamRonDi No, I’ve never had a pro account, as a matter of fact I just recently signed for Canva to check it out before deciding whether I liked it. After watching so many of your videos I’m convinced. First I tried using your link for my existing account and got all the way to the payment point and it wouldn’t take my paypal or my credit card, then I tried using your link to open a new account under my other email and it still wouldn’t work :-(

You can add audio tracks to Canva (both Free and Pro). As long as they are in the right format.
You won't be able to synch these voiceovers with one click though.

If I watch it in Canva the movement still remains but doesn’t work if downloaded. Why do I download it? It should show when you start a design from the homepage or in the editor when you create a presentation.
