I am new to Canva. During the tutorial it gave me a magic eraser effect where you basically were able to replace part of an image with a different one. Like changing a lilly to a rose. Now that I upgraded I cant find it. Can you tell me where to find it please?

Love the video with the new features...I love when they add new things to video, and Doc! The one thing I wish they would add to docs would be some kind of page break line for printing a PDF.. That way i can position the elements before I create the PDF... often I create a doc, and when I convert to a PDF, it cuts the image and moves part of it to another page. I then have to go back and move that element..

One thing I've been looking for but can't seem to find is a way to constrain text so that it fills in a shape (like typing the word "Love" in the shape of a heart or filling a butterfly shape with random words related to spring or whatever. Do you all have a video that covers that?

The addition to allow 4k video and continuing to add more video creation tools/features is going to fill a large gap between online design tools and pro applications. If CANVA can just add that screen recording feature to the DESKTOP APPLICATION that is already available in the online (but high quality capture and network issues make it sketchy often), that would be amazing.

Hi Roni. Please why is it that each time I want to download from my computer, the download prompt would appear only once. I will not see it in subsequent downloads. Even when I check all the icons and buttons around, none shows. I use a Mac and a web version of Canva.
If you combine this with BG Remover, you could easily achieve that, yes. But the Blur functionality in itself doesn't let you select which part of the photo you want to blur.

Hi John, I'm not sure what you mean by websites you have uploaded into Canva. You can CREATE websites with Canva, but not upload them. So your created websites will be just like any other document you create and should show on your homepage among your recent projects. The videos you UPLOADED into Canva should show under Projects > Videos (look for that tab). As per the domain, I believe you can change part of it only, as a free user. This is usually done via the Publish page when you are done designing your website.

If Canva would just simplify their licenses for POD sellers then they could make so much more money. Currently sellers are avoiding canva out of fear of getting sued.

the insight function certainly makes sense since you can publish posts directly from Canva, but it seems to me really too essential for those who do #SocialMediaMarketing. Wouldn't it be more useful instead if the Canva Team inserted a project tracking tool?

The way to do this is by inserting a table with 3 columns first, then adding the images into each column.

You can create the layer and blurred BG by duplicating the photo, remove BG, blur the photo with the BG and stack them together.

There’s no easy way to do this in Canva. This technique usually requires masking… which Canva doesn’t have 🥹

Not much difference. It’s all the same format. I guess Canva called them different for searchability 🤔

With the blurr function, can you just blur the background and not the fore-ground?
If you combine this with BG Remover, you could easily achieve that, yes. But the Blur functionality in itself doesn't let you select which part of the photo you want to blur.

I have looked in Projects and then 'Clicked' designs but am not sure I am looking in the right place, as although I can see some of my designs, it doesn't specifically say if they are uploaded or not
Maybe I am looking in the wrong place altogether? Please can you help
Also is it possible to change what I would call the Free 'Anchor Domain' that Canva gives you, that seems to have been based on the Title of one of my designs, as I would like to change it for a shorter one

I'm not sure what you mean by websites you have uploaded into Canva.
You can CREATE websites with Canva, but not upload them. So your created websites will be just like any other document you create and should show on your homepage among your recent projects.
The videos you UPLOADED into Canva should show under Projects > Videos (look for that tab).
As per the domain, I believe you can change part of it only, as a free user. This is usually done via the Publish page when you are done designing your website.

😅 you might find some photos of writing in the sand, but there’s no effect that does that, AFAIK.

Audio won’t work on Canva websites, at least as of today 😑
If Canva would just simplify their licenses for POD sellers then they could make so much more money. Currently sellers are avoiding canva out of fear of getting sued.

I finally just took some pictures and created what I was looking for from them myself. This has happened several times. 🙄🤔😕 So thankful AI isn't smarter than we are. 😏

the insight function certainly makes sense since you can publish posts directly from Canva, but it seems to me really too essential for those who do #SocialMediaMarketing. Wouldn't it be more useful instead if the Canva Team inserted a project tracking tool?
