Hey @Spicy Peppers , I'm bit of a Madness Project Nexus (2) Expert, so here are some tips: You know the training dummy that bossman mentioned when you first completed the sleepwalker tutorial? And also the EXP you were getting when you completed the levels? Well, you can actually train and upgrade your character. If you walk up to a dummy and press E, and go to training, you can choose what skill to learn with the EXP you got. I reccomend looking closely at the descriptions to see what you're getting. Next, you can equip both the BN-P and the Wooden Board at once by 1) Equip one, exit the chest, press TAB, open the chest and equip the other or 2) equip one, and equip the other while holding the CTRL key. You can also acces this chest by pressing the I key or by holding TAB. You may have also noticed that despite you equping a pile of rocks, they didn't seem to do anything. That's because they are actually in the grenade slot. You can throw them by pressing the G key. And one final thing, all the HUD above your character when you open the chest may look complicated, but it's quite simple once you understand it. Strengh means you can resist knockdown better and carry more and heavier weapons in one hand. Endurance Means you can take hits better, and carry heavier armor without penalty. Dexterity means you can move faster and have a higher Tac-Bar, which is your chance dodge bullets and Tactics means how fast you regenrate said Tac-Bar and how much damage you do to an Enemy's Tac-Bar. Also you can just strait up hover over the stats, and the smaller sub-stats next to them, to see what they do. Also, the Blocks above the character's Tac-Bar are called Corpus, if you wanna know. Hope these tips will help you on your (or more accurately, Chris Pratt's) Journey! I will comment on your future videos in case I would like you to know something.
To add onto the experience stuff, I saw the playthrough that you did of Story Mode and I just want to say that some mechanics that you used a lot that campaign are things you have to unlock using experience. You also have to develop skills that were a given in the story mode (dodging, holding items with two hands, sprint speed) gradually, so that means that you won't be able to sprint or hold stuff like the characters do in the story mode instantly when you get the first upgrade. Also, you can configure keys to throw throwables or holster stuff on your back in the options in the pause menu. Arena mode is going to be fun, just you wait.

as mercenary when a openent is dizzied (or angry if its a go3lm) and have 1 corpus left ( you have to remove the helmet first if its a go3lm) then you can bribe them by using shift + e on enemies and they will join your side its quite cheap so just do it when you can also as mercenary melee is your strong skill so basically you can get every upgrade with it fists are your weak skill so you can only get up to unarmed technique II ( and you dont get any stronger from getting new unarmed skills ) that does not mean you should absolutely never use unarmed its just that you should use it a bit less

HUGE TIP: if you want to get acrobatic exp you have do use throwables like the rocks/grenades etc. or throw whatever weapon you're holding repeatedly. also to train skills interact with the dummy using e and select the skill you want, cores make you better with that method of murder
You need to beat Arena Mode atleast 3 times to unlock all Origins. As soon as you get Tinkerer and Massive Arena mode is a cakewalk. Also, the Origin you got, Ronin Mercenary, is specialised in Melee. That means you will get +2 to your core skills when you take Melee skills. His weak skill is Unarmed, which means you will get nothing for you core skills when picking Unarmed skills, just the skill alone. And lastly his speciality is bribing foes to become allies. When an enemy is dizzy go right behind them like you normally do when doing an execution and hold shift while you press the execution button.
Arena is a bit tricky at the start, but once you get the ball rolling, it's easy to progress. I wanna give some tips for the beginning tho, just since I think it makes Arena more digestible. 1. Guns will carry you during fights with large groups, as you saw at the end of the first mission 2. (since IDK if you saw) The training dummy allows you to grow skills like dodging and the like. Many core skills (kicking, blocking) are there so it's good to get them 3. Throwables are your friend 4. I forgor when you get them, but hirelings are nice to have. I don't want to say too much but I think these are important to know.
Oi did you know you can upgrade yourself somewhere next to the sleep walker program? And as for the guy with a moustache upstairs he'll be important at the end.
You can equip things to your back, meaning you can switch between them in a battle. I think its middle mouse button, but I'm not entirely sure. I play on controller
I never thought I'd see Chris Pratt playing the protagonist of arena mode, but he's probably played weirder roles Edit: this is just a personal recommendation, but I'd suggest turning the voices on. The voice acting of the arena mode characters/enemies is some of the best in the game imo. Though if you don't want to because of editing reasons, that's totally fair! But hearing the little voicelines that the NPCs say is neat, especially with Chopper Dave and the Quatermaster.

Remember to invest your skill points before each mission to be at your best. Your core skill is melee so investing into it is very important because each core skill gives you corpus.
I reccomend using dummy(click E on it) to improve your skills, also some missions allow you to get items between waves by holding TAB
