havent finished the video yet, but if you havent trained you skills, do it! You use the little training dummy NEXT TO the sleeper bed, missions and the sleeper bed get you xp to use for training.
Just three things: 1.You have to pick your own skills manually from either the training dummy or by pressing I and going to skills. 2.Throwables like rocks make life easier early game 3. You can already equip stuff to your back from the very beginning
Yo, on top of what others said, let me give some more advice: Equipment: You can access your warchest anywhere in your base and between waves by pressing "I" this way you can equip another gun when the first one runs out, you should buy multiple. Squad: In your warchest you can click swap character to give them different weapons and armor importantly, in the dormitory you can buy upgrades to max number of your hirelings and their level cap (since you're playing mercenary you have a slight nerf to that) you can also buy ability to call in additional support during missions (each use costs some money) also, in medbay you can buy cloning units that allow you to revive your hirelings instantly for 1/10 the cost. Weapons: You should buy throwing axes, they deal damage as powerful as the strongest guns and you can carry 25 of them. In early game pistols are the best weapons, in mid game SMGs, in late game auto-shotguns, weapons in your hands can be modified at upgrade desks, one next to quatermaster, second at the shooting range. Note that some clothes will allow you to carry more ammo. Once you unlock the canteen later, you can buy special weapons for higher price Skills & stats: Learning skills marked with a star will give you new abilities, Heaadshot, Off-Hand Aim and Sweet Spot are most important, holding right mouse button, left shift and standing still will allow you to deal up to quadruple damage with your gun. As you're playing mercenary learning Core melee technique will give you extra lives (corpus). You can mouse over stat numbers for a moment to learn what they mean. Good luck and have fun.
If you don't learn skills, you will never beat the next wave.Don't wear clothes at the dyeing machine. Actually, you can bring at least three weapons into the game.
I wish they made it to where you can hold shift and ctrl to put two weapons on your back, instead of having to go out of the menu, press tab, and the equip two more weapons. And with hirelings it's just impossible to give them 4 weapons.
Nice video, I enjoy this series. Btw, at that place before entering room with matrix bed, you can walk to those things on walls and upgrade your buddies' max level and amount of which you can get. Also don't forget to upgrade skills using dummy/holding tab and going to skills
It's out of the park!!! Thank you all so much for tuning in to the newest entry of my Madness: Project Nexus (Arena Mode) Playthrough! Really enjoying how the tycoon formula is used here, and it honestly brings some unique elements to this campaign that Story Mode doesn't have. Can't wait to see what else this game throws at me (please let it not be ALL pain). Thank you for watching, have a nice day Ya'll! hey just so you know getting a level on the simulation is not a good idea on ordinary levels is much better and the simulation is boring after some time well for me at least
BTW if you hold tab in the hub you can access the warchest stuff like weapons and armor from anywhere in the hub, and training can also be accessed through the tab menu. It's also how you equip more weapons between waves.
Here are some tips to help you. Press I to open up your inventory where you can equip weapons and armor for you and your teammates, you can even do this in-between waves. There's a tab in your inventory for leveling up your skills. Also in your inventory, it lists all 10 stats your character has which you can hover over with your mouse to tell you what they do. This is important if you have a specific build in mind for your character like melee or gun focus playstyle. Also Tips for teammates near the end of the game, you can bring up to 5 on missions so I recommend you focus on having only 5 and leveling them up by replaying missions. And don't forget you can equip teammates with weapons and armor in the inventory. Later in the game, you will unlock a black market and next to it there is a green upgrade terminal that increases the max level cap of your teammates per upgrade and increases the starting levels of the teammates you can hire from bossman.
I recomend hiring gymnasts. They are the best. They have the best encumber and also have tac-bars. Also! Press i in the HQ to open your inventory, from there you can equip shit, equip shit on hirelings, and also train some stuff at the "training" section (top middle of screen where money is displayed) you can also hold ctrl to command teamates to go to a location, middle mouse button to hold, right mouse button to select a specific hireling.
@@r.u7208 I also figured out part of why my clubber sucks. The dingus does have the improvised weapons skill, so he just holds on to the broken weapons.
Throwing a weapon gives you acrobatic xp, using a gun gives you ranger xp, using a melee weapon gives you melee xp, and using a fist gives you unarmed xp.
0:06 P L A N N I N G Which again, is a mystery 1:01 FACE FUCKING PALM 2:40 DEEP BREEEEEEEEEATH: AHH- 5:10 No offense but youre even way worse than Fleecade 5:42 Normal mode, rlly ? NGAHHH- 9:05 HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH 15:00 HE. IS. A. QUARTER. FUCKING. MASTER for a while
You can also colorize whatever your hirelings are wearing and equip them new Garbs! (from the warchest, just press the arrows) Oh and you can give them GUNS OH AND THE ROCKS ARE MORE USEFUL THAN YOU THINK 2 or 3 can actually kill someone and your character throws them really fast Finally you see that timer below a dead hirelings name? When the timer runs out its cheaper to respawn em but buying the cloner instantly makes em cheap on death, 1 cloner equals one hireling at a time Max is 4
Ok so, the way you get stronger is you manually have to select skills on the dummy, press e next to the training dummy and then select skills from fist, melee, gun and acrobatics, fighting unatmee raises fist, using a melee weapon increases melee which for chris is his special stat meaning he gets exclusive skills and stat bonuses, gun which is using guns and acrobatics which is where you get your tac bar and is leveled through running pressing space, throwing weapons and throwing rocks. I dont want you to fall into the same misteak i did
On my second loop so from what I can gather, gymnast and gunman hirelings are mostly more useful because they have better TAC levels and dodge more. Never go over the current encumber limit of your grunt and your crew because even if you sneak in more armor, being overencumbered heavily nerfs the TAC bar.
So something about recruits, you can give them weapons you buy, quarters is a gunner so hes his best with guns ~~although gunners arent great to begin with~~ and senator needs their fists alone as a thug, gymnists need small melee weapons because they have to attack fast and they throw them
Never in my life have i ever seen someone fail this game like 5 times, how did you not know to level up a certain skill? Just go to the training dummy, or press i and go to training and then level the blue highlighted skills so that you can get more corpus’s (Healthbars) and get better skills and curtains skill that make life better, like the ability to have no spread on a gun if you never stop looking down its sights and constantly fire that weapon
You can access all of your weapons just by pressing "i" in the base. You can also acces your weapons between waves.
