It never ceases to amaze me how many dumb comments like yours there are on TH-cam. It's a known blow hole. There is literally a sign there showcasing the natural wave phenomena. Bare rocks has nothing to do with it. On every coastline across the planet there are bare rocks as nothing grows on rocks except for lichen. It's not because a wave crashes on them on a certain tide. It is literally the geography of the coast. People since the dawn of time have utilised the rocks as platforms to fish from, dive into the ocean, jump off to head out to surf and believe or not, some are utilised as a natural tourist attraction to watch blow holes and big waves. Unfortunately, ALSO since the dawn of time there have been thousands of accidents from freak waves, but there is absolutely no relation to rocks being bare and waves. It is simple geology of the earth and geography of the coast.
Thank you...that's me. Two other people got severely hurt that day, including a pregnant woman. Two weeks later a German couple didn't have my luck and got sucked out to open sea.
People need to recognize the rock faces...The faces with no vegetations and damaged sides are the ones that are continuously prone to huge waves and are not to be fucked with...You can admire the beauty from a safe distance and never get caught in the way of waves rushing back into the ocean which is the wisest thing to do...Otherwise you would be swept...
I'm always surprised by the amount of people that show up to see exciting stuff. How do they know that it's going to happen? Do they get invitations? Hello, this is the sea. I am going to make a big splash at 11:00. Don't be late!
Holy Sheet, that guy was like 1 second from a horrible death. How he had the strength to get across to those rocks and get out I'll never know? Adrenaline is an amazing substance!
Wow..mantep bgt.
Not this day. But me and other two people went to the hospital. I was told by locals that two Germans were sucked to open ocean a week before and died.
Democrats want everyone to be totally dependent on them even though the government is to represent the people! We the people tell the government what to do.
Hey G A nusa, do you have an email address we can use to contact you regarding this video? I'd love to discuss a license to use this if possible! Cheers, Felix
What is it about the foolhardy? You will always see them out there scampering around on treacherous coastal reefs collecting shell fish between huge sets of fury, then some hero loses their life drowning in the attempt to rescue these idiots. Call me cold-hearted, but I would never risk my life for someone who so obviously has a death wish. They will kill themselves and take you along with them.
It never ceases to amaze me that people don’t recognize the bare rocks nor realize why they are bare.

Good advice, I'll certainly look for those signs.....thank you....
Yeah, I was asking myself, “Why is there all of that bare, deeply eroded rock that high above the high tide line?” Ocean, “Here is your answer!”
Mas as pessoas sabem que a onda bate ali. Estão lá por causa disso.

Props to the man at 4:32 who ran to help the guy in the water.
The guy gets his life saved from being sucked into the sea and he still stands less than a meter away from the edge of the white water.
Because he's an idiot!

Ce monsieur est le seul a courir pour lui venir en aide 👍
C'est dommage que des gens soient aussi insensés... Le mec s'était déjà pris 2 vagues avant et n'a quasi pas reculé...
That was impressive. The bare rock was bare for a reason. Where in Indonesia is this?
