- Phuket Travel Vlog. We are at Phuket Weekend Market on the island of Phuket in Thailand. The Phuket Weekend Market, or Naka Market, as the locals call it, takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.. The Phuket Weekend Market also known as the Chao Fa Market or Talad Tai, is located on the Chao Fa West Road opposite the Wat Naka, Buddhist temple and about a kilometer from the Central Festival Shopping Mall.
We highly recommend that tourists take a taxi or tuk tuk to this night market as it is quite far from the Central Festival Shopping Mall if you do not know where you are heading. We took a Tuk Tuk from Patong Beach to the market and paid 400 Baht for the trip (good price). The journey back to Patong Beach in a taxi cost us 500 Baht. We would imagine that the drive from Kata Beach, Karon Beach and Kammala Beach with a taxi or Tuk Tuk would be a similar price, perhaps a little more for the Kammala ride...
This walking tour of the Phuket Weekend Market only focuses on the food part of this night market, and includes almost every food stall represented at the market. The footage is filmed in UHD 4K quality and as well as trying to capture the atmosphere and delicious foods available for sale in this amazing market we have also tried wherever possible to film the price of the foods. Travelers (tourists) watching this video very closely will notice that many of the price descriptions are only written in Thai, meaning this market is a "Food Fest" targeted towards local Thai people and is not a tourist trap as one may think it to be (if one has never visited before). This is Thai Street Food at its best, we had a fantastic time at this night market.
Wiki writes about Phuket, Thailand, "Phuket is a city in south-east Phuket Island, Thailand. It is the capital of Phuket Province. As of 2007 the city had a population of 75,573. It covers the subdistricts Talat Yai and Talat Nuea of Mueang Phuket district..."

We just returned from Phuket and Krabi, Thailand. The food is divine and we mostly ate at the Street Food Markets. I have never enjoyed such quality good food, ever in my country. Going back just for the street food👍👍👍

Very clean compare to a lot of street foods that I’ve watch from different countries the servers wears cap for their hair and gloves not handling with bare hands thank you I enjoy watching from USA 🇺🇸

We went to Phuket mainly for Island tours. We had our food at Indian hotels at Patong beach side only as my wife could not manage to develop in eating beautiful thai dishes. Nice video guys!

Wow... I've never seen anything like this before. Multudes after multitudes of various foods available. Thailand is such a rich culture. I live in Finland where almost everything is somehow prosessed, not to mention we have no knowledge of cooking, lol.
The Thais certainly know how to cook, their food is both a feast for the eyes and a feast for the belly. Maro is Finnish and I can say the Finns do have a few good dishes too, hehe :-D Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment this video.

Good question, but we did notice that much of the food on the stands was finished (sold out) after we had filmed and wanted to east :-D

How do i get here from Patong?? Pls advise. Only Saturday & Sunday or starts from Friday??
It´s open Saturday and Sunday from 16:00 to 21:00, very well worth a visit. We were staying in Patong too and took a Tuk Tuk there and a taxi back! The price each way was around 400-500 Baht. Just tell the driver to take you to the Phuket Weekend market and he will take you right there! Have a lovely time! :-D
