I am going (back to) Bangkok in Jan, and there's a few new things I haven't tried before. This was exactly what I needed to see today. Thank you!
A lot of work Chris with this video, BIG Thank You!
Pollution there is ridiculous, I couldn't breathe
Great video. Watch from start to finish and picked out a few things to do in August 24 when we come. Hope we bump into you and Mark Wiens.
Im literally sitting in the Miami International airport, waiting for my plane to take me to Thailand for the first time ⏲️ 😂
Welcome to Thailand. It's the best time to visit Thailand!
Dude you're going to love it!
Welcome
Definitely, you will love it and please don't cry or sad when the time comes for departure.
Welcome to Thailand 😊
there can't be any better ambassadour for thailand and bangkok then Chris!the amount of work he puts in these vids is impressing.i like it very much that he really shows a side of thailand that is not just party and red light district.(that is what many people think is all to it)nice to see people liking him on the streets and a guy like this deservs all the fame and fortune that is coming to him.keep up the good work dude and i'm looking forward to the next vid.💪💪👍👍
❤❤❤❤❤
He's getting paid big money that's why@@inThailand1987
Couldn't agree more ❤❤
Yes, Chris is a Thai embassador for Thailand. Hope they will appreciate you❤ because I'm and many more people too. Thank you khob Khun kha❤
a lot of work indeed. but the outcome not impressive at all
What's funny is that I'm Thai and here I am, watching your video for a guidance into exploring Bangkok (I have never been to half of these places in this video)🤣Your video is amazingly shot and edited, but what I like the most about it is that you've provided some insights of places like a brief history, general terms, and transportation methods which can be useful for people to understand and immerse themselves with the culture while traveling. Also, unlike many other creators who seem to forget to do research (hence they tend to end up in expensive malls and generic tourist spots) you really did explore and appreciate local sceneries and community which are essentially the backbone of Thai community and culture. This is definitely a must-watch for those who plan to visit Bangkok, and even better, for Bangkok residents who want to explore the city like a tourist. Again, great job Chris!
I'm going here on February 29th 2024 can't wait , gonna travel by train and visit loads of temples as much as I can
I miss Thailand....I will be back one day. This is a fun video. I was at that flower market, and learned how to make a lotus flower with folded petals for an offering. I miss the street food, and seeing monks everywhere. I don't miss sweating though! I think that's why there's a 7 Eleven on every corner - just to get out of the heat.
I’m definitely a durian fan along with somtam and khao soi
ต้องขอบคุณ คุณคริส ที่ทำให้ชาวต่างชาติหลั่งไหลมาเที่ยวไทยส่วนหนึ่ง ก็มาจากเค้สคนนี้ ขอบคุณจริงๆ ครับ
Ciao Chris
Just did December in Thailand 🇹🇭

Cant wait to return 🇹🇭🙏🏻
ขอบคุณที่รักประเทศไทย คนไทยก็รักคุณ❤❤
Thank you for loving Thailand. Thai people also love you.❤❤
pohm rahk pra thed thai
Thank you for these videos!! Patty and Enrique here (USA and Mexico). We began watching your videos when our brother (South Africa) and sister in law (Mexico) (both in China now) invited us to visit Bangkok earlier this year. We were better able to navigate Bangkok thanks to your videos. We had a great time in Bangkok and hope to go back again someday...maybe during Songkran next year!! We will be adding our videos and blog posts in May.
I've been to Thailand once but niw u have tempted me to return. Loved this video
Man I'm so excited to move here in September. :) This channel kinda changed the trajectory of my life. 4-5 years ago I woulda never considered thailand as a place where I'd end up living, now I plan on moving there for the rest of my life (or at least for the next 5 years). Excited to learn the language and culture!
well come to Thailand
Where are you from Addd?
@@36handy united states
@@addd21323 - just north of you in Canada. I’ve heard best time is between Nov - march. Talked to a couple people that hang out in Chang Moi.
@@36handy Nice! I'm going to travel between bangkok, chiang mai, pattaya and phuket and maybe hua hin too. Want to spend a year in each.
Hopefully this is the year! I really want to see the Philippines, but I think Thailand will be fun. I will be 70 soon! At the present time I am caring for my disabled wife!
You will love it. I hope you get to go soon.
One of the best videos I've seen for Bangkok yet! I literally watched that like a movie!
I am in Oklahoma USA. I was kind of turned off at the thought of Bangkok at first. I imagined it was too much of a high crime party town. After seeing your videos I've decided to apply to teach at an international school there! Thanks for this insight!
1. In my opinion Thailand is REAL MELTING POT I did not surprise why everybody go to Thailand, they got Vietnam culture in northeast of Thailand even in Bangkok if you do enough research you will find restaurants from many countries around the world in Bangkok. It is why I think this place is unlike anywhere else in the world. It may be true that New York has a diverse population of people all over the world. In Switzerland, it is diverse. But from my observation The country is more open to cultures from around the world. And people all over the world are accepting Thai culture as well. You won't see this as evident anywhere else in the world as in Thailand.
2. Thailand is so f***ing chill. It is a country where work is not stressful. But at the same time, it is still very professional. You don't have to believe me. You should go and have your own experience.
3. Thailand is famous for its medical care, and is a center for quality medical care and reasonable price, you don't have to be afraid to pay a high price to survive, right? A country that can be compared to Thailand in the same status right now is probably Turkey. that is trying to create a medical center and similar tourism.
4. Thailand is a land of opportunities that many people overlook. This is the country with the world's top tourist numbers. It is definitely an area of opportunity. We are not talking about online trading. But it really means offline. And when there are many offline Why is online trading ineffective?
5. Thailand is the country of choice as a retirement destination for people around the world. Many people are moving to long-term residences towards the end of their lives.
6. Thailand is not a religious state. You can practice any religion in Thailand. There is no discrimination regarding religion or belief. But traditional Thais will have harsher opinions about Buddhism in Thailand than you might think if social issues arise.
7. Thailand is still far from being an international democracy. But even then, people around the world are still watching. and always helping Thai people And hope that the country will have a regime that really has power coming from the people.
8. Thailand has coffee with quality at the specialty coffee level with a score of 85% or higher, many growing areas concentrated in Chiang Mai. There is actually a tour company that I know. They have many interesting tour packages like Gem tour/Business negotiation tour (or even help finding and matching business)/Exotic tree market tour/Real estate tour or see a knock down house/Ghost tour.
9. Thailand loves Japanese culture very much. To the point that sometimes Japanese people don't even want to return to Japan. Because working with Thai people doesn't feel stressful. You probably already know what the working culture of Japanese people in Japan is like. Many Japanese people who have worked in Thailand request to transfer themselves to branches in Thailand permanently. And another reason is that there are so many good Japanese restaurants in Thailand that even Japanese people are weird about it. Until Japanese people say that they can go out and eat Japanese food at an affordable price in a different restaurant. It is a high quality shop that can be duplicated within 1 month and the owner of the shop is not even Japanese, but Thai. Let me inform a little more about this. It's not just Japanese people who think like this. South Koreans, Chinese, and Americans feel the same.
10. Thailand has good infrastructure. It may not be good in every area, but I consider 90% of the country to be good. But in some areas the water system may not be good. But do you believe it or not? In some areas of Thailand you can now drink tap water from the tap. But in Bangkok you still can't drink it. I hope the country is starting to test something that is good news. As for clean energy Believe me, Thailand will definitely do very well in the near future. Sometimes I think Thailand is doing better than Europe.
11. Regarding garbage disposal Thailand still has a lot to learn (I'm not here just to admire). It is considered a failure in waste management. But not without effort to manage, they care but still adhere to many laws. and there is systematic participation of both the state and the private sector. and instilling responsibility in this matter is still too little. Even though it is a country with a lot of foreigners. There are a lot of tourists. But if they don't rush to solve the problem, it will continue to be a problem in the long run.
Man if you want to discredit 70% of the world with ignorance like that to each his own misery
@@JM-kv2knWhat do you mean?
High crime 🤣
I love your trip, you're not alone here in Thailand believe me. Your 2.40hrs video time are enough for someone peoples in the first landing. Thank you for making a good video.
Such a long video, but you know what - I watched it all! 555 It's not boring at all.
Even I'm Thai and live in Bangkok, I've never been to many places you've been in this video - what a shame.
You make me want to explore my town again.
Thank you Christ for your hard work. I love it.
oh christ
Praise be The Lord!
We need a Mark Wiens collab! 😂 I love these longer videos, btw. Makes me want to visit Thailand!
EDIT: just got to the part where you say Mark is joining at the end of the video. Gotta watch everything!
EDIT: that was an amazing video!!!!
Greetings from Scotland 🏴
I’m heading to Bangkok in August 2024.
I absolutely love your videos in which are very interesting extremely informative and very educational.
I’m super excited and so looking forward to my visit to Thailand/Bangkok and Phuket.
Thailand looks amazing and has so much to offer it’s guests,,awesomeness!!
You’ve just recruited another subscriber! and that’s down to all the hard work /effort you put into these great videos and the fabulous content that you create,,a very well done to you sir!
Looking forward to the next video and keep up the great fun and work,,it’s truly is very much appreciated 🙏 🇹🇭
I am going in April 12th 2024 for Songkran festival. They play with water guns it sounds so damn fun. Can’t wait!
Im going to investigate retirement their for 2 months next January and February.... I will be doing this entire list as well... i cant wait! Im learning Thai through yt as well. Doing my homework... I cant wait... Love your channel!
Squeeee!
Thank you, Chris! My 4th trip to BKK in Feb, and you've given me some new things to discover. Wooooo!
I have eaten foods in
US, Canada, France, Belgium, Hong Kong, etc., etc., you get the point. All countries had their characteristics, and super menus. All are mouth watering, but with all the deliciousness, there's usually plenty of grease. This is where Thai food is special. I can get many very delicious menus that don't depend on oils to produce a great flavor. I love because I can eat healthy in Bangkok without destroying my health. Great show Chris!!!
Much fried food and carbs don't sound that healthy.
So glad I am watching this, Chris. Thank you for compiling this list. Am planning a trip in June 2024. This list is informative!
I just watched this from start to finish! I’m thinking I don’t need to watch any other vlog as this was fantastic and entertaining. I’ve seen a few and this was tops. I’m booked already for at least a 3 month trip end of March and your time and effort will be very useful. Cheers and have a great Hogmanay and very happy 2024
HNY 2024, Chris and Hailey (my sincere advance apologies for wrong spelling) for a fab Kick Off to 2024 and I will keep watching you both.. My favourite Video for 2023 was i'm taking a break from Thailand (and TH-cam) where ANNA your most beautiful daughter was presented. As as a similar parent I was so emotional and was in tears, and cannot thank you enough
Bangkok vs Pattaya Video ?
So cool with Mark! I'm gonna go to that restaurant on my next trip to BKK! Great story build-up!
This was an absolute must watch video. I'm glad I watched. Now, To Thailand!!!
Im literally going to the Ruam sab food market in a couple hours having just landed, because of you. Pinch me
Durian smells like a warm McDonalds dumpster but tastes like an almond custard with the consistency of avocado. I highly recommend getting past the smell and just enjoy the fruit. Protip - Since the best places to get durian are street vendors or roadside stands; keep some disposable plastic gloves in your bag and wear them while eating the fruit and your hands will not get stinky.
Ha!!!! what timing, I'm arriving to Bangkok tomorrow!
Bangkok is indeed the best city in the world.
Perfect timing I'm flying out to BKK tomorrow morning can't wait 😊
Chris I gotta tell ya ! You really outdid yourself. I totally love this
What a awesome video. I will try some of these. Issan food is my favorite. Wife is making a note where this is at when we are in bkk next time
Are you serious....watched half yesterday and you had 400k subs. 🥳🎉 Congrats Chris - Hailey & RW4U Team. Watched the second half today and now 401k subs. 😲 Isn't 40k an American savings thing? Here's hoping you are 401k Thailand compliant Chris. Great job 🙏
I'll be moving there in May, I sincerely hope to link up and make some great friends and experiences there! Your videos have helped so much.
My favorite video so far! The Bad Boy Furniture reference was amazing... and Hailey is either a great actor or had no faith lol. Love your work Chris!
Dude Chris I just found your channel a couple days back. Been crushing vids ever since. Love the content, your killing it man. I'm 46 I've got 9 more years till maxed pension. So that puts me In Bangkok at 55 with time and money to settle in for the long haul. Unless the lottery pays off first I'll cya in person in a few more years. Till then brother keep these vids coming and sharing with all us dreamers all the awesome Thailand has to offer.
Coming to Thailand in March and cannot wait. Three centre holiday to Bangkok, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. Have been following you for a while and downloaded Teenee for our stay
I started watching your video last month when I got my tickets to Thailand cant wait.....thank you
''The Bangkok list'' the most enjoyable video of Bangkok i've ever watched. Fantastic work Chris, you make me love the place even more. Brilliant.
I’m a proud participant of the 100 days Thai Language Challenge and Chris isn’t lying when he says Kruu Fah is the best teacher in all Thailand.
Almost 20 days in and I feel I learned a ton. Still tons more to learn but Kruu Fah makes it so much fun I feel bad missing a lesson because life got in the way.
Let me finish with a big thanks to Kruu Fah and her team for all the effort she put into this challenge - and a challenge it is!
Good luck with your new channel.
I'm here right now and have been a bit lost about what to do, so this video is a godsend. I'm definitely looking forward to going back to the islands as I'm not a city person haha, but this will help a lot :)
Most Thais would agree with number 1. Those dishes are the most favorite for Thais. Nothing can beat Som Tum Poo Pla La. OMG, I am so envious 😂
I went on a 7-11 crawl with a German, a Dutch and an English guy all around Khaosan. Absolutely hammered for very little money. One of the best nights I've ever had
I watched these vids when you did them individually a while back and used them as a reference on my last two trips to Bangkok. Great idea to put them all together in one vid. Happy New Year Chris and crew, have an awesome 2024!
I hope this clip aged well and get a million views in no time. Cheers ❤
This is the best Bangkok top 25
Great content Chris. I just returned from Bangkok and realised I need to learn Thai to enjoy local life. Happy New Year 2024.
Nicely put together to one video. Im at BKK now btw.
This was absolutely epic. Some serious hard work went into this. I hope it gets the views and revenue it deserves 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I stoped working for couple of days, now it`s time to enjoy your BKK vid., amazing, i will land in TH 14.Jan., stay until 14. March, Yeep ! Your great Chris P: always good mood and sensational content to make Thailand the place to be & to go ! I wish you & your beloveds Happy joyful New Year 2024 🎉🥂Cheers ! Thanks for making me smiling watching you Lol!💝

You're so fun to watch! Thanks for the quality you deliver the information with, Chris!
Very cool hanging out with Mark Wiens. Thanks for the chapter markers I went straight to the best parts. Have an awesome and epic 2024 mate! Also congrats on hitting 400k!
I'm not sure if it was an accident or not, but when you entered the workshop in Talad Noi at 2:06:46 if you had followed the orange arrow to the left and then up the stairs, you would have found the hidden cafe Mother Roaster.
We will be there for Songkran 2024, we will definitely reference this as we make our 4 week plans. thanks Chris!
I will get out of town for Songkran 2024 lol
I was there last year for songkran, and will be there next year also! When I lived there, we would escape the city during this time lol
@@genestone4951 We will spend Songkran near Udon Thani, at the village where my wife and were married back in 1991.
@@hollygrace6814 we try to go every year but missed a few due to COVID, we spend songkran in a small village near Udon Thani were where married back in 1991!
Love all the videos! Coming to Thailand in February, so excited 😊
I'm so glad Mark was on here. I really like watching him eat and I'm so glad I found your page too.
Man you should visit Wat phu thok located in Bueng Kan! It's got a breathtaking view and climbing the mountain would definitely be a great exercise!
Hey Chris, just watching this with my sixteen year old daughter who just said, “ he’s pretty good doing TH-cam for an old guy “ had to just laugh! Doing a great job! Hope to meet you someday.
Almost 3 hours long video! I watched the individual 25 videos of this back then. Didn’t think it was this long
EXCELLENT video! You are THE BEST, Chris!
Best video I've ever seen about my favorite city-Bangkok. Two thumbs up
Bravo, boys!
The background music is awesome a really nice added feature. Glad to see you’re still growing…
So much hard work must have gone in to this video. Great job mark. Thank you 👍
CRAZY CRAZY BANGKOK!!! Such an interesting and cool travel guide about BKK.
Chris you are a beast,.....this is an AWESOME video,.....you kept me up all night watching it in one go!!!! absolute top quality,....and as you mentioned,...cannot wait to get back to Thailand after a break of 3 year
Great video man. I'm coming back to Bangkok for the first time in a while next month ,so this and your other videos have been a perfect refresher. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks for all your informative streams all year long and congratulations on reaching 400K subscribers ! Peace and health in 2024...
Thank you Chris for a fabulous video. I enjoyed every minute. Couldn't make it to Thailand this yr. And truly missed it. You ve made my day. Please keep doing these excellent videos. ALL THE BEST
That was an epic 2 hours and 40mins well spent. Cracking vid. Well done Chris.
Well, Chris, I do know Mark Wies' From his videos he was the first one that I started watching with these food places all over the world. And I was just blown away him but when I saw you. I think you're going to sail. You really are Someone who takes his time and explains everything and makes it entertaining and makes it a real experience experience. I mean mark does as well. But you have 2 different techniques. But I must say that it was pretty cool of you to have him. Come to see you at the end of your video very cool.
great timing chris I will be in bangkok in 3 weeks , cant wait ....thanks ....great content as always
What a great tourist guide, Chris. Amazing! Thank you for your hard work. Mike from Ontario
This video deserves an award. I've been to Bangkok numerous times and was captivated by this video. Now I can't wait to go back and cross off some of this list....thanks Chris and team.
Iconic video Chris🙏. Wish you and your family all the best for 2024❤
Hey man, thanks for putting this video together. I'm moving to Bangkok in 6 months, and this gives me a whole lot of new places to check out. Much appreciated.
Congratulations on reaching 400k, Chris Parker!!! Well done. 🤩
What a great video to end/start the New Year. The first thing that I thought of was Kris Kringle with that long rolled out paper. Making a list, checking it twice. 😊Great info and yes will have to spread out my viewing. 👏❤Well done Chris, Adam, Hailey.

Great video/audio production quality.
Great background music choices.
Great editing.

Thank you very much for this lengthy well thought out video.
Do have a good day.
I got to Bangkok on Monday. It's kind of intimidating, but you get used to it. I just got into Hua Hin and will be here for a few days (I really like it here). More my speed. I then plan to go to Pattaya. Really considering retirement here.
Amazing! Thank You Chris! Appreciate all you do!
