Congrats on the truck. It's great to see what else is out there in the EV world. I love the carryover of ideas from the Avalanche. Hopefully, the legacy automakers will get their costs under control and make some compelling vehicles for the masses
I went to about 8 camp sights on a recent trip pulling my Airstream with my Tesla. Only 1 totally forbid me charging Tesla. One said she was thinking about forbidding it- and i asked her to consult with her electrician about how many volts the EV charging uses first. I bet it’s about the same as one AC.
Beautiful machine! I always preferred the GMC styling over the Chevy and that would be the spec I would have gone with - hope he has much success with it! You need to do a 20,000 mile follow up with him….see how things are with it.
Yes I am also holding out for the GMC Sierra Denali EV, and will let the Silverado RST order go to another, the interior fit and finish and quiet cabin is better than the top trim Silverado EV for not that much more.
What did this person use to use his Tesla Charger, I went and paid for the GM Adater from them to use a Tesla charger at home. And I have not been able to use my Tesla charger at home with their adapter.
@@bowefamilyEV It really does! I don't care for the Avalanche look, but my lightning seems to be getting more and more obsolete by the day, especially with Fords lack of updates. I'm eyeballing the competition pretty hard.

You just paid over 100k dollars closer to 140k with interest and taxes for a truck that has vinyl seats like seriously who in their right mind would pay for that garbage. That’s what comes in the bottom tier work trucks. On this truck every single thing should have been the top grade product nice plush Italian leather real wood inserts everything
Awesome review! Congratulations Wade!!😊 We are excited to hear the follow up with reviews from your trip.
Great chat and congrats with this truck! All trucks are now in the EVKX database and can be compared.

Definitely want to see better priced options for the market!

Definitely should be encouraged! No need to limit those drivers!

@@kurtstype7468 GMC is for sure their Luxury spec lineup! The little details are nice 👍
Good stuff! Mine came in the same day as Wade’s. North Texas. It’s been fun so far!
@@Enigma-uc5po so awesome to hear about these in the hands of customers!
THATS AWESOME! would love to hear your experience after some drive time!
I got my new GMC Denali on Monday Oct 7 at 11:00 AM

12:54 kyle with out of spec has already shown the charging curve of the Chevy WT with the large battery and that should be identical
The Supercruise in Canada rocks much more mapped highways than BlueCruise especially in BC, Alberta, Sask Manitoba, so another reason to by a GMC.
I do not think my concrete driveway would hold up the GMC EV! I’d have to have an engineer test it before I’d even test drive it to my house. Wow
@@MyweathernetreportsBlogspot it’s a heavy vehicle!
I would love to see the ride quality comparison between sierra ev and Silverado ev rst !
@@aryi2000 definitely would be a great video to make! We will see when we can get that together!
One gripe 😐 - None of the 10 or so cameras record 🔴 You still have to install a Dashcam.
GMC? 🤷♂️

You ain't gonna get 320 in the lightning going up the highway even without a trailer.
Yeah closer to 270-28. That giant battery goes a long way …literally lol
